135 Gu Ruoyun’s Insidious Plan 3

Like a thunderbolt from nowhere, everyone on the scene looked at Gu Ruoyun and Elder Yu in deep disbelief.

No wonder every time she had been faced with danger, Elder Yu would come to her rescue. One cannot believe that they’d turned out to be in that kind of relationship after all! Such a shameless woman she was for seducing an old man who was even older than her own grandfather!

This was utterly shameful to Gu Tian and his wife!

"Rubbish!"

Elder Yu, who had always carried his image well all along, could not help but explode at this moment. Just as he was about to lift his hand to give this old fellow a lesson, a delicate hand appeared from his side and blocked his movement.

Gu Ruoyun’s gaze was vicious and fierce. It was as though a sharp sword had just pierced through General Gu's body.

Slowly, she opened her mouth and this time, her voice was imperceptibly filled with coercion.

"For the sake of my brother, I never had the intention to completely crush you right from the very start. However, right now, you have forced me to do this! From this very moment onwards, the Gu family is blacklisted from the Hundred Herb Hall. No matter what kind of injuries and illness the Gu family has, all the doctors are not allowed to help out at all! Otherwise, this would mean that you are going against the Hundred Herb Hall! You told me just now that I was taking advantage of Elder Yu's power to bully others, didn't you? Well, now, I will do exactly just that to you!"

In truth, it was not that Gu Ruoyun did not want to annihilate the Gu family but she did not want to expose her status too much. Besides, she preferred to act fast, sparing none at all. Second Master Gu still had another son on the outside. It was only when he got back that she could eradicate them completely!

On top of that, allowing them to believe that she was using Elder Yu's name to behave as a tyrant was way better than letting them know that she was the real master of the Hundred Herb Hall...

Elder Yu looked at General Gu with pity in his eyes. Now that this old fellow had managed to offend Lady Gu, he could easily imagine how miserable his life was going to be now.

.....

Outside of the manor, a group of people came to a halt.

These people wore the attire of the Imperial Palace and a piece of jade pendant was attached at their waists. Anyone could easily tell who these people were just with one glance.

"According to the reports from our spies, the Ghost Doctor was at the auction of the Hundred Herb Hall. Somebody even took the liberty to follow her here. Right now, there is no other person but the Ghost Doctor who can save the Crown Prince. Let us try by courteous means first before resorting to force. If she really does not want to help, then we would have to resort to violent measures."

The middle-aged man who was in the lead had a serious face, his eyes swift and fierce. Waving his hand, he said, "Let's go! We are going in now!"

This was weird.

Just as they stepped in through the entrance, they found themselves continuously going around in a circle at the same spot, as though they were trapped in a maze. They could not find the exit no matter what.

"Leader, what should we do now?"

When he heard this, the middle-aged man creased his brows together and said, "If I guessed it correctly, this must be a formation. It never crossed my mind that there would be a formation in the courtyard of the Hundred Herb Hall, I was too careless! Be that as it may, if we can’t find the Ghost Doctor and get the Crown Prince completely healed, the whole Imperial lineage would be shaken to their core."

Just then, a turmoil and chaos could be heard at once. As all of them lifted their heads up to look at the source, their faces immediately took a turn.

From not far away, countless soldiers were charging towards them with swords in their hands. Even though this was part of the formation, the pain that they felt was still very real...

Outside the formation.

Wei Yiyi was sitting by the side, eating sunflower seeds while sipping on wine and at the same time, enjoying the scene of the group of people who were waving their swords aimlessly at a same spot. If there were other people who were clueless about the ongoing reality and saw this scene right now, they would probably be freaked out by the view in front of them.

This was just too eerie! There was obviously nobody who was battling with them, but wounds could be seen appearing on their bodies continuously, without any signs beforehand.

"Under the formation of Lord Zixie, do you think you could walk out of it with that power of yours? On top of that, you want me to heal the Crown Prince of his affliction? Do you really think that I, the Ghost Doctor, will heal just anybody that I see? I would be the first in line to refuse to treat such a huge narcissist like him!"

Especially after the fact that the Crown Prince had actually impudently called her a servant...
