Dressed up nicely when Gu Hua exited Gu Manor, she discovered a luxurious carriage in front of the Gu Manor. Pulling the carriage was a fine snow-white horse, it's white hair was shiny and smooth without a trace of impurities, its eyes were clear and bright.

The man sitting in front bowed slightly, his face looking eager " Young miss, please get on the carriage."

When Gu Hua saw the carriage prepared for her by the entrance, a touch of surprise and doubt appeared on her charming face.

Because she never in her wildest dreams thought that General Gu will leave behind such a luxurious carriage for her.

"Master, do you think General Gu really sick or do you think there is some kind of scheming behind it," Kitkat said as the expression of his tiny face became serious.

"Don't worry we will found about it very soon."

Finished speaking Gu Hua move forward and get inside the carriage.

"Wife, it seems like you really like to ride this King's carriage.... but don't want to pay for it. Since General Gu didn't have a carriage prepared for you so I thought maybe, it's better. For us to go together?"

The soft and rich voice seemed to hold a smile, familiar and teasing. A voice she happened to know especially well.

As she turned her head Gu Hua was startled to see An Haden sitting in front of her and looking at her with a smile on his face.

Gu Hua clenched her teeth tightly as she recalled her last meeting with this arrogant fellow, and thinking of the how he had addressed her today, she couldn't help but sneer, " Wife? How can I don't recall marrying you? I think you should consider seeing a doctor before your mental illness became more serious."

When Kitkat told her that he wasn't simple, she decided not to get involved with him. But despite avoiding him, they kept on meeting, again and again.

"Wife, you don't need to be so cold towards me" An Haden lowered his head, gently whispering in her ear, "Do you know I have thought a lot about before taking this decision and since you want to know I will surely tell you. Last time I hugged you without your permission but later when I thought about it I felt really bad so I decided to take responsibility of you and decided to marry you."

Listening to him Gu Hua slumped into her seat while holding her head in anguish. How can such a virtuous man is still alive? Why God why was her fate this miserable?

Previously, while Gu Hua was getting ready for the banquets everybody else had already left for the palace. They have also taken Gu Ming with them since he was the only boy in the family so according to them, he must go with them so that he can establish some connection with powerful families.

Gu Hua was not the least bit surprised to hear that General Gu and the others had already left for the palace. General Gu had always despised her and this wasn't the first time it had happened.

Besides, she didn't want to attend the banquet together with that so-called family anyways.

At first, she thought this carriage was left behind by General Gu since she found the man sitting in front familiar but now where she had seen him.

Now, it looks like they planned on letting her walk to the evening banquet from the beginning.
