Everyone was stunned. They never thought that the submissive and quiet Gu Hua could have asked such a question, especially when she addressed her father as General Gu and not dad.

In a rich family, not to mention the first daughter, even the other daughters would had been surrounded by hordes of slaves and seven or eight maids. Things like opening the door would never have been the job of a precious daughter.

General Gu was embarrassed. He could not help but to glance over to Second Madam, Leng Xiangyu, with the intention of blaming her. Ever since Gu Hua's mother died second madam became in charge of the household.

Although he did not care about his daughter, it was ridiculous to not even have a maid present beside her! Especially when it was in public and in front of his colleagues.

Leng Xiangyu was a mature lady and even though she was already reaching the age of 40, she was still charming and well maintained. She came from a considerably rich family and thus everything about her was elegant.

Leng Xiangyu was not prepared to handle the shame she felt when Gu Hua complained in public and it was simply like a slap to her face.

Leng Xiangyu was angered until her blood almost sprayed out, she trembled as she raised her hand, pointing toward Gu Hua and quivered as she said: " My daughter had neither wronged you nor held any grudge, yet you're mortally wounded her. Not only ruining her appearance, you even crippled both her legs and now she has become a cripple. My Gu Hua family deminitely aren't able to tolerate someone like you. I Leng Xiangyu won't have any mercy on you.

Gu Hua glanced at Leng Xiangyu who was pointing her finger toward her as she raised her brow and said "Neither wronged you nor held any grudge?"

'"Huh?"

She smiled slightly and said " I Gu Hua have lived here alone for ten years, never taking a step outside. Question second uncle and aunt, which place did I hit that crippled her? How have I beat her up?"

Everyone was stunned. General Gu had already forgotten her anger and stared dumbfoundedly at Gu Hua.

Was this…Was this his timid daughter? Since when did she become so organized and clear in her speech?

Second Master squinted his eyes slightly and he yelled, " My daughter sympathized you living in seclusion by yourself , time to time coming over to accompany you, but her her kind heart was in vain, in the end even being attacked by a heartless person like you."

Gu Hua glanced at second master's furious face and smiled " Bringing her suffering? Heartless person? Good! Gu panpan uses a blade, the wound received was a whip wound I don't have a whip here and if i got a whip what would I use it for? Use it to tickle? Or would I use it to whip her? Everybody was struck by a sudden realization when they heard this. Suddenly, all eyes were fixed on Gu Hua's delicate face

Under the bright sunlight, she tear off her sleeves and her arms that were full of hard bruises came into view of everyone present there.

Leng Xiangyu remained silent for a short while and thought to herself, "Since when was this quiet girl able to debate so well?!"

'Gu panpan usually abused Gu Hua but Gu Hua never dared to complain to her father as Gu Jiang normally did not like to see his daughter. She could barely see her father once in every two years and so she had been enduring it all the time.'
