Chapter 25 Jealousy, Revenge

Hovering in the air, the Ying Dragon scanned its surroundings before flapping its wings and diving into the water.

The surface of the river returned to a tranquil state. The storm then disappeared, along with the rain.

The Weak Water Ying Dragon dove head-first into the water, upon which the storm disappeared.

Standing on the riverbank, everyone was curious.

“It disappeared just like that?”

“How are you supposed to bind it? It just ran away.”

“Can it be summoned back?”

“Probably not. Such a fierce creature won’t be summoned so easily.”

“Sigh, that’s a pity. But the dragon should still be in Jianghai City for a while. There’s still a chance.”

As the crowd chattered, Liu Cheng began to feel a little better. Fortunately, no contract had taken place. If Li Yi had really contracted the dragon, he would have died from anger.

Just then, the referee walked over.

“All contestants, please gather!”

The referee continued.

you?”

The man’s huge accusation rendered Li Yi somewhat speechless.

“Come on, I’m going to give you a fair trial!” The buzz-cut man said sternly.

Li Yi chuckled. “If you have a problem with the outcome of the competition, go and complain to the organizers. Don’t bother me!”

The buzz-cut man became smug. “Haha, you’re scared! Only guilty people get scared!”

Li Yi looked at him with a serious expression. “Why don’t I give the organizers a call and have them come over to handle this?”

As he spoke, Li Yi took out his phone.

When he saw this, the buzz-cut man himself began to feel guilty.

He was planning on just scaring Li Yi so that he wouldn’t accept the award.

But, contrary to his expectations, Li Yi wasn’t scared at all!

If the organizers found out about this, his life would be over. The organizers were smart enough to know that the Weak Water Ying Dragon is not a Demon Beast.

The buzz-cut man gulped in fear and took two steps back. He felt helpless. “Alright, you’re legit, then. I’ll let you off this time!”

Then, the crystal in his hand flashed. After recalling his monster pet, he left in a hurry.

Li Yi thought very little of the incidentand continued walking towards the studio.

The buzz-cut man returned to Liu Cheng’s side in a panic. He said, “Big brother, that guy did not fall for my trick. He was not scared at all. He still on his way to receive the reward!”

Liu Cheng sighed helplessly, “And you promised me you would take care of this! You useless thing!”

“Looks like I’ll have to take care of it myself…”

As he said that, he took out his own Contract Crystal.
