Chapter 83 - On the Run!

With the change occurring in Kayn, Vegeta couldn't help but wonder why he would need to turn into a Great Ape if he had a Super Saiyan form. Gohan had already arrived, and he could see Kayn's stature increasing by the second.

"Damn it! I knew I should have kept my tail, Bulma was pressuring me to get rid of it!" Raditz's face fell, she was always worried about his tail.

This was for many reasons, this was because of the scary events with Goku during the Dragonball days and the fact that Raditz's tail wound molest her while she was sleeping! Bulma would wake up screaming, thinking some bug had crawled on her or something, or someone like Master Roshi had snuck into their house to touch her.

"Hmm, this isn't good!" Goku frowned, but he knew the weakness of this form. If he could cut off Kayn's tail, then he could consider it a victory.

"What's going on, why is he still growing? Vegeta, what's going on? Are Great Ape supposed to get that big?" Raditz said strangely. Wasn't he supposed to have stopped already, why was he still increasing in height and mass?

"T-this...I don't know, Great Apes aren't supposed to get this big!" Vegeta had seen many Great Ape forms, from his father to many more, but this was the first time he had seen one this big. The color of Kayn's hair was also different from the standard Brown, with it being a shiny Black.

"What are you guys waiting for? Attack him while he's like this, what do you think will happen when he's done?" Goku said. Before they could come to reality, Goku went to attack Kayn, but it was already far too late, he was done transforming at this point!

Kayn swung his arm in a slapping motion towards Goku. Goku's eyes went wide for a second before he dove down to fly between Kayn's legs to get to his tail.

"HAAAAAA!" Kayn opened his mouth and let out a deafening scream.

"Damn, that's loud!" Raditz and Vegeta said in unison.

"Ahhhh!" Goku held his ears and screamed from nearly getting his ear drums blown out. His figured quivered from Kayn's explosive voice, Goku's eyes were tightly shut as he tried to stave off the pain.

"Hahaha!" Kayn laughed and punted Goku away, he flew off like a javelin. Goku looked like a torpedo, he went crashing hundreds of meters away. The only thing anyone could see were clouds of dust, it was exactly the place he had landed.

"Hehehe, too slow, you have to be quicker than that." Kayn's voice resounded deeply, he sounded nothing like he used to.

Raditz and Vegeta looked at each other, they seem to have come to a decision. Kayn was around 50 to 60 meters tall, it would be safe to say that he could punt an average Oozaru if he came across one.

"His tail, we have to chop it off then it will be over!" Raditz eyed Kayn's tail, which was in plain sight. It waved around in a tempting manner, but they could only look since it was obviously going to be hard to chop off.

"You think I don't know that!?" Vegeta was agitated hearing this, but he was obviously agitated by something else.

"Whatever, just chop his tail off, plain and sim...okay, not simple but you get my point!" Raditz reverted his attention back to Kayn's ridiculously huge figure. If they launched any attacks at him and missed, they may as well go kill themselves at that point.

How can anyone miss this large target?

The two of them launched a joint attack on Kayn, but at this time—Gohan was watching from the distance.

"Dang, it! I have to get stronger, I can't stay weak forever!" Gohan fell to his knee and punched the ground; his head lowered. Looking up, his gaze landed on Kayn's tail, yes, he could possibly sneak up and cut it off.

"Hohoho! You guys wanna cut my tail off, I wonder if you can do that? Watch out, here I go!" Kayn chuckled and stretched both his arms out forward, then each of his fingertips lit up with dark red light. Followed by this, a multitude of small laser shot out of his fingertips like fireworks.

"Blasted it!" Vegeta gritted his teeth seeing the unbelievable amount of energy attacks coming towards them.

"This was supposed to be training, not a battle to see who can stand the longest against Kayn!" Raditz knitted his eyebrows, but he could only go with the flow for now and not get hit by any of these attacks.

These attacks practically covered the sky, all they could see was red light descending upon them. Vegeta and Raditz naturally zigged and zagged around these attacks; some of these attacks would even lock onto them and follow them.

Vegeta knocked a few away and flew behind some rocks to dip into cover. Kayn looked like a final raid boss of some Dungeon at this point.

"Oh, no, don't hide." Kayn opened his mouth a launched a beam of thick energy towards their location!

Vegeta and Raditz gasped deeply before quickly taking to the sky. The area that they were once in denoted with a large sphere of energy! This attack shook the planet and could be seen from outer space. Menacing winds kicked up, causing mountains to crumble, along with the dreadful earthquakes that accompanied it.

These quakes woke Goku up, who had fainted prior to these events.

"What's going on...ah, my body hurts really bad." Goku suddenly remembered getting swatted by Kayn and quickly knew the reason for this pain. Goku fished something out of his pocket, it was a bean, to be exact, a Senzu Bean. He tossed it in his mouth and swallowed it; restoring him back to his full-powered state.

"Man, the fight must be intense over there." Goku slowly elevated and could see nothing but red in his vision. Using his senses, he could feel that Raditz and Vegeta had engaged Kayn already.

"Hmm..." Goku also could feel Gohan, he was slowly creeping over towards Kayn. He was doing his best to hide his Ki Signature. Goku knew what his son was trying to do, but Goku had his own plan as well.

"If I can get into his face and use the Solar Flare again, then it should give us a chance at his tail." Kayn's eyes increased in size, so the effects of the Solar Flare should really blind him for a while. At that time, Gohan could cut off his tail since he was already hiding.

...

"Crap! I hate this!" Vegeta hated this monkey play, as he would call it. They hadn't gotten that much closer to Kayn.

"Just attack him from afar, and let me focus. I have a move that can get close to him, we just need an opportunity." Raditz clearly wanted to take advantage of the Instant Transmission Technique. They all felt long ago that Kayn's strength was something they couldn't measure up to, and Vegeta hated this the most.

The prince of all Saiyans losing out to a low-class warrior really hurt him in his heart, but Kayn knew he would grow out of this in time, but it might take longer than the original. Before they could make a move, Goku appeared.

"Kakarot, weren't you sent flying a minute ago, I can't believe you're still conscious." Raditz was sure Goku had lost consciousness from that previous attack.

"Yeah, I was knocked out, but with this chaos, how could I stay knocked out for so long?" Goku laughed a bit while scratching the back of his head before looking into the distance; his expression suddenly turned serious.

"What's the game plan, we'll need to..." Before Goku could finish the area was bombarded with energy attacks. Goku had already grabbed the two and ported elsewhere, the minute he looked into the distance, he saw the uncountable amount of attack coming towards them.

Kayn pretended to be a clown who didn't notice Gohan, he wanted to see what he was going to do. He was secretly laughing to himself at Gohan, this kid was too funny thinking he was sneaky. Kayn put most of his attention towards attacking Vegeta and Raditz when he felt Goku arrived at their location.

"Oh, they ported far away, they must be planning an attack, I can wait," Kayn said nonchalantly to himself.

"Hmm, I wanted to get in his face and use a Solar Flare again, afterward, we can just remove his tail." Goku nodded and said.

"I can't believe we had to run and make...a plan!" Vegeta was outraged, he had to run like a coward and make a plan?

"Well, it would be stupid to just approach him directly, I already tried that and it ended painfully." Goku didn't have any thoughts of approaching Kayn directly, it was simply crazy at this point.

"Hmm, where's Gohan, wasn't he with you?" Raditz looked around and asked.

"He was sneaking up on Kayn, he was suppressing his strength so he shouldn't get caught by Kayn." Goku smiled and assured.

"You idiot! If you can sense him while he's suppressing his presence, why in the hell do think Kayn can't!?" Raditz felt like smacking Goku, or at least, slamming his head on some rocks so he could return to who he was in the past.

Goku put his index finger on his chin while looking up, he seemed to be thinking, then he softly punched down on his palm and said.

"Oh, yeah." Goku understood.

Vegeta and Raditz choked; almost spewing out blood hearing this.

'Oh, yeah, my ass!'

"We have no choice! Hmm, they should be here somewhere." Raditz reached into his pocket and pulled out a set of earrings.

"Earring? What are we going to use those for? Looking good isn't going to beat him!" Vegeta's face scrunched seeing these earrings, what was the purpose of foolery gold in a fight?

"Dad gave me these to hold onto, he said Kayn gave them to him to practice with, but he never used them." These Earrings were actually the Potara Earrings, Goku and Vegeta were confused about their use but Raditz explained.

"No way! Not doing it, absolutely not!" Vegeta refused right away when heard about their functions.

"Wow, they can do something like that? I'll do it, let's do it, Raditz!" Goku wanted to try it, this seemed too cool and it was something he wanted to explore for himself.

"Why in the world would I fuse with an idiot like you!?" Raditz would rather fuse with Vegeta than his moron of a brother.

"Ah, come on, I'm not an idiot. I think it would be cool if we did this, all we have to do is cut off Kayn's tail." Goku put his hand together and begged slightly.

"If I become a brain-dead fool after this, just kill me!" Raditz tossed him an Earring.
