Chapter 81 - Spar Elsewhere!

Goku and Raditz quickly spearheaded over to Kayn sending out a barrage of swift punches and kicks. Goku targeted Kayn's upper body and while Raditz was aiming for his lower body(hip, t.h.i.g.h). Their attacks were all blocked, Kayn blocked Goku's kick his arm, while he blocked Raditz's kick with his knee.

"You're going to need to be faster and stronger than that to overcome me..." Kayn raised his arms into the air and let out a burst of energy, knocking both of them back. Both Raditz and Goku caught themselves mid-flight before looking at each other and smiling.

Right then, both their bodies flashed with Golden light before they instantly became Super Saiyans. Both raced over to Kayn again, but from different angles, their expression serious through and through.

Kayn looked towards them, look back and forth at them before stick out both his arms and firing off energy attacks. This attack shot out without warning, there was no indication that Kayn was powering up so it was so sudden!

"Whaaaa..." Goku and Raditz were surprised and quickly switched directions once they notice the change and the bright light. However, the energy was still coming out of Kayn's hands when he maneuvered it towards them.

This forced the 2 of them to continue dodging as best they could. This attack was strange, it only extended to a certain radius. Raditz noticed this and flew out of range of the attack while Goku was still trying to dodge.

"Haaaa!" Even so, Goku was drawing closer to Kayn as he dodged.

"Hmm..." Kayn canceled the skill and resorted to defense again. Of course, he could have ended the fight with ease, but that wouldn't be any fun.

Goku saw that it was useless, so he stopped and did a gesture with his hands. He stuck out all five of his finger and put them just over his face, revealing his eyes which were now shut.

"Solar Flare!" Goku called out, as a blinding light engulfed Kayn for a second.

"Fu**!" As strong as he was, he was still blinded by this light. He held each of his eye sockets with his hands, he never could have imagined that Goku would use such a shameful technique on him.

Not knowing what was going to happen, Kayn amped up his strength a bit. At this point, Raditz had already come over to join Goku. Kayn could hear them chanting moves they wanted to use on him.

"Kamehameha..."

"Double...Sunday..."

These two clowns were actually charging up attacks like this while he was blinded, he thought. Followed by the chants, their attacks quickly descended towards him. Kayn, despite being blinded for a moment could easily dodge these, but he didn't.

Blue and Pink light erupted, causing an explosion in the sky. Vegeta and Anya were watching all the while on top of the lookout Palace. Bulma and a few others used their hands to block the wind attacking their faces and getting into their eyes. The tree on the lookout started to bend from the wind, causing Kami to panic.

"These guys need to get away from here!" Kami said with worry.

"Relax, Kami, don't get so stirred up." Mr. Popo tried to calm Kami down as best as he could.

"Did we get him?" Raditz said unconsciously.

"I saw it, we hit him but I don't think that's enough to hurt him. I hope we didn't kill him from that...wait, he's there and..." Goku couldn't finish when a red ball flew towards him, he easily dodged but... the strange spikey ball exploded.

"Ahh~!" Goku hollered as a few of the energy spikes dug into him upon detonation. Raditz didn't even know what happened when he felt a blunt and crushing force on his back. He was sent through the sky as his armor broke under the force.

Raditz g.r.o.a.n.e.d but he couldn't catch himself, he fell through the clouds, it looked like he was threatening to land on the ground below.

"Kakarot, I can't believe you would resort to such a move, you've really hung around Radtiz too much."

"Hehe, well, Raditz said that it would be a good technique to use on strong people, so I used it." This was surely the influence of Raditz, but there was no illegal skill in combat, well, real combat.

Kayn wasn't really complaining but this wasn't Goku's fighting style. He didn't put too many spikes into the Spikebomb, so he was showing some mercy. However, Kayn wouldn't show too much mercy when attacking, since a good beating would only make them stronger.

Goku used the Ki from his body to disperse the spike riddling his left body side. He was still bleeding from the attack but it didn't seem to stop his drive for battle. Right then, he started to power up again; this time, he took it up a level.

His muscles all expanded and grew, and so did his strength. Kayn was easily able to recognize this form as a Grade 2 Super Saiyan. Goku had yet to discover that he should train in his Super Saiyan form all day by walking around naturally. Goku had also discovered the Grade 3 form but didn't dare to use it.

It seemed that Bardock hadn't passed this information on the Goku yet. However, it didn't matter because Goku would eventually discover this on his own.

"Now you're getting serious!" Kayn nodded and said.

"Yeah, I have to, you haven't even turned into a Super Saiyan yet. I can at least try and make you do that much." Goku scratched the side of his face, he could at least do this much, then that would progress in his book.

Shortly after, a round of dazzling light could be seen coming from the clouds below. They quickly came towards Kayn like meteors from below. Kayn didn't try and blocked them, instead, he dodged them this time around.

Right as he was dodging, the space shifted around him and Raditz appeared with an energy blast raring to go!

"Sneaky weasel!" Kayn laughed, this guy's shameless combat was well known by his Mom, Dad, and other Saiyans.

"All is fair in war and attrition!" Raditz smiled and unleashed his attack.

This beam was abnormally larger than most Kayn had been exposed to until this point, besides Pikkon's attacks. Too bad, though, it didn't matter to Kayn—he waved his hand and knocked the attack off course.

The Beam of energy sounded like a torpedo as it descended towards the lookout. Kayn simply deflected it, he wasn't paying attention to where it would land.

"Uh, Oh!" Raditz looked at where the attack was heading, this wasn't good he thought.

"Crap, everyone..." Before Krillen could finish, 2 silhouettes jumped out to confront the blast.

Piccolo and Gine acted instantly, while Nappa was about to grab Bulma and move away from here. Gine turned into a Super Saiyan, while Piccolo also charged up to parry the attack away. This attack wasn't so easily staved off but it was eventually. The attack was thrown outer space before exploding.

The sky turned purple from the explosion, but it looked like Raditz used a lot of his strength to unleash that attack. Kayn looked up in surprise, he thought he deflected it away from the lookout, so it could explode elsewhere.

"Hey, you guys, can you not fight over the lookout!?" Kami yelled with all he had, he was sweating profusely from that last attack. Vegeta and Anya looked on from the top of the palace, Vegeta smirked, he seemed interested in joining this fight.

"Wow, Raditz, you have to be careful!" Goku was stunned.

"I have to be careful? Kayn was the one of deflected it that way!" Raditz retorted.

"Haha, sorry, that was my mistake, we should leave from here." This was one of the reasons why he didn't want to spar, he was afraid of his strength getting out of control and destroying things. He didn't lack control, but sometimes, it got a little heated where he would lose a little control.

"That's why I was trying to build a training place where we can fight all we want without restraint." Kayn had mentioned this before to them, he could just use the system to create a battlefield for them to spar anytime.

"That would be for the best." Raditz didn't really care for the humans all that much on the planet yet, but he still didn't want this planet to be destroyed. The food and resources on this planet were pretty good and this place could be considered a paradise in his book.

"Okay, let's go elsewhere." The energy that they were using wasn't enough to threaten the planet, so they didn't go that far.

"I think I'll be joining in on the spar if you don't mind." Just as they were about to leave, Vegeta came over. Improving himself was all he could think about now, his strength had to be the highest as he was the Prince of all Saiyans, he couldn't lack in this department.

"Sounds good, I prefer it to be a free-for-all, though," Kayn suggested.

"Free-for-all?" Goku asked.

"It means everyone for themselves, there is no teaming; the last man standing." Raditz simply said.

"That's perfect, I like this way of fighting better!" Goku greatly agreed with this concept of battle.

"I-I wanna fight too..." Right then, a somewhat shy voice came over, it could be no one else but Gohan.

"Gohan? Of course, you need the training." Goku nodded and agreed instantly.

"Don't sound like a little punk when wanting to join a fight, just ask normally!" Kayn frowned, what was up with that shy attitude?

"A-ah, right!" Gohan nodded seriously and said. He understood that Kayn and Raditz hated this part about him.

"Quick question, whose kid is Bulma holding?" Kayn had to ask. He saw that Vegeta was hanging out with Anya, and he saw that Nappa was working for Capsule Corp now; this was a little weird for him.

"...."

"...."

"Ahem! That would be me, we're married now!" Kayn looked to see who it was, and he was speechless.
