Chapter 58 - Battle Power Machine!

After everyone was done eating and hearing the few things that Kayn had to say, they all went outback. Kayn told Goku that he better go visit his mate or she was going to raise hell when she saw him again.

Gine and Bardock were curious about their son's mate, with Gine suggesting to meet her. Kayn felt a headache coming for some reason when she said these words. Even Gohan showed worry when it came to this, they didn't know what their interaction would be like.

Gine had a little spar with Goku, he used his Kaio-Ken to engage Gine after knowing her strength. She was surprised to see that he knew this Technique, it was obvious to her that he had trained with King Kai.

Raditz wasn't paying attention to the fights, he had always been silent while deep in thought. It was clear that he was still shocked about the revelation of a Super Saiyan.

"I'm your Aunt, so you have to listen to me." Salari put her hands on her waist and said to Gohan.

From Kayn's perspective, it looked quite comical.

"Ah, yes, little auntie!" Gohan bowed and said.

'Damn it! You little wastrel, you're going to let your little aunt punk you?' Kayn turned away to hide his disdain, he needed to teach Gohan a lesson later. But upon further inspection, she was still just a little spoiled kid.

Kayn could tell that Salari had actually been spoiled.

Suddenly, Goku slammed into the ground, causing a small hole to appear.

"You guys are gonna have to take the fight to the wilderness or something because this is my garden." Kayn was feeling a little hurt but he could just repair the ground afterward.

"Wow, I can't even land a hit on you." Goku stood up and said.

"This was just a spar, the training will begin later. But first, we should handle important business, like killing Frieza." Gine smiled and said.

'How can you smile so happily about killing someone, she even said it calmly.' Kayn was speechless.

"Hmm, maybe this Frieza can be redeemed, we should try and talk to him to see if he would listen." Goku heard about this Frieza but he felt that there was a chance for all of the enemies he faced.

Gine and Bardock's expression scrunched at the same time. Can be redeemed!? Yeah right! As far as they were concerned, Frieza was someone that had a big target on his back.

Gine just began to relay all of his deed and all of his evils, he mustn't be allowed to live anymore.

Moments later, they all went back inside. Salari was on Gohan's back commanding him to go in the directions she wanted, this caused Kayn and Raditz to nearly trip.

'Damn, this kid really is a softy!' Raditz didn't know what to make of this situation, but she was still young after all, so it wasn't all that bad... he guessed.

"Hmm, I better go check in on Chichi or she'll have a fit." Goku laughed but at the same time, it wasn't a laugh.

"Oh, I want to go meet this Chichi, so I'll follow you. At first, I thought that a nice Blue-haired woman was your wife, hmm, her name was bl.. uh, what was her name? I can't remember." Gine scratched her head and tried to recall it but never found the answer.

"Mom, you can meet her later, it's best you hold off for now until that chick cools it." It was no telling with Chichi, she was still in her early stage of mom-hood, thus, she was more heated and overprotective of Gohan and watchful of Goku with Gohan.

"Cool it? Ha, I've met many Saiyan women with strong personalities, she won't be any different." Gine was used to hard-headed Saiyan women, this was how the warrior Saiyans were in the first place.

"Uh, okay." Kayn Shrugged and didn't bother with it anymore.

"Hmm, I'll join you." Bardock also felt the need to know Kakarot's mate. As Goku's father, he wanted to meet his son's mate, naturally.

"Kayn and Raditz, are you 2 coming?" Gine turned and asked.

"Oh, no, I have a few things on my mind right now, maybe later." Raditz squeezed out and smile. He was clearly still thinking about the whole Super Saiyan thing.

"Raditz, don't be discouraged, you'll reach it soon." Gine had long discovered her son's thoughts, he was too easy to read in her eyes.

"Huh, I'll get that Super Saiyan with no problem, it isn't a big deal." Raditz waved his hand. Gine nodded, but she wasn't buying his words.

"What about you Kayn, are you coming?" Gine asked with hope.

"Nah, I have a few things to do as well." Kayn said. But he wasn't lying.

"Alrighty then, but you guys will have to meet her soon like us." Gine said seriously. Kayn obviously knew he would have to meet her eventually, so what was she on about?

"Oh, okay, let's go. I just want to say that she's a bit on the... well, wild side of things." Goku scratched the side of his face but his voice was filled with warning.

"It's okay, let's go." Smiled Gine. Goku went over and picked up Gohan to leave with him. Bardock did the same with Salari.

"No! I want to stay here." Salari complained.

"Hmm..." Bardock looked over at Kayn and Kayn nodded in return.

"Okay, don't give your brother a hard time." Bardock put her down then turned away to leave, but not before going over to Raditz.

Bardock patted Raditz on the shoulder and said a few words to him before leaving.

"Kayn, do you have a room where I can be alone?" Raditz asked.

"Of course, it's upstairs; there are plenty of them." Kayn knew how he was feeling, this was why he didn't tell him about the Super Saiyan Transformation right away. To Raditz, it was nothing more than a bedtime story Gine used to tell him.

Raditz was just an outsider looking in. He never saw the big picture of things but when he did, he was mind-blown.

Raditz nodded and went on his way.

"Hmm, it looks like it's just you and me." Kayn looked at Salari and said.

"Mhm, yes." Salari blinked in quick succession and said.

"Okay, I have somewhere I need to go really fast and I'm sure Raditz won't be around to watch you. So, we're going to take a little trip to an acquaintance's house." Kayn picked Salari up and used [Instant Transmission].

Moments later, they appeared in front of Bulma's house. Kayn knocked on the door and it was shortly answered by Panchy, who welcomed him inside.

"Hey, Bulma!" Bulma was working on a scouter currently, she found herself working a lot this time around.

"Ahhh!~" Bulma jumped in fright and fell over a stool close by.

"Hahaha! That was funny!" Salari laughed and pointed at Bulma seeing her unfortunate fall.

"What the heck! When did you enter here!? You can't just sneak up on people while they're working!" Bulma was embarrassed and felt like knocking Kayn over the head.

"Oh, my bad. So, about that blueprint I gave you almost a year ago, did you complete the machine?" Kayn sat Salari down, this place was currently Bulma's lab, she even wore a lab coat.

Salari looked around curiously and ran off somewhere to check things out.

"Yes, I've finished that machine of yours." Bulma stood up and adjusted her coat and hair.

"Perfect!" Kayn's eyes shined.

"But, this machine requires something called an Energy Core. So, it needs some type of energy to fuel it. I've tried all types of energies but nothing seems to work, so this machine might not work."

"Oh, no problems there, I have something to fuel it." Kayn said "Where is it? Can you show me the machine?"

Before Bulma could say anything, an explosion went off in the lab!

"What!?" Bulma was shaken and ran over to where the explosion was. Kayn followed but his mouth turned crooked as he remembered something.

It was Salari, she was meddling with some device inside Bulma's lab.

"Hey, put that down." Bulma ran over to Salari who appeared to have a controller in her hand. Salari smiled mischievously and ran away with the controller.

"Ah, Kayn, get your sister!" Bulma started to freak out.

Kayn moved and easily caught Salari who being a little meddler.

"No, I want to play with the boom toy." Salari complained.

"This isn't a toy, so hand it over." Kayn almost laughed out, she the typical meddling child. Salari reluctantly handed over the device, then Kayn handed it over to Bulma.

Bulma was speechless.

'Wow, it looks just like the machine in Otherworld, except the color.' There was no doubt that Bulma was indeed a genius.

"The platform was the hardest to make, other than that, everything else was straight forward." Bulma felt a sense of pride when she noticed Kayn's amazed expression.

"I also added the feature you asked for on the machine." Bulma said. Kayn asked her to add a feature that would detect certain levels of strength on the planet, it would even tell them their locations.

"This is better than the one in OtherWorld!" Kayn was already next to the machine, checking it out.

"So, about that core you were talking about, can I see it?" Bulma came over to check the machine out herself.

"Sure, but I'm gonna have to take this machine away in the future, but it can stay here for now." Kayn pulled out the core he had gotten from Otherworld and showed it to her.

Bulma's face turned pale feeling the energy coming from the core. She couldn't sense Ki or anything but it made her feel weak. Kayn quickly withdrew the core after seeing her sickly expression.

"Are you good?" Kayn asked.

"I'm okay." Bulma waved her hand, she looked like she about the throw-up. Salari stood far away, so she didn't suffer. Kayn told her to step back while he put the core inside the machine, it was a good thing she had some tough plexiglass to block off the energy.

However, this glass surely won't last long under the type of energy.

Once the energy core was inputted, it gave off an electric-like sound. Afterward, it came on and showed the number zero on a calculator-like screen.

"Whoaa! It worked!" Bulma was elated.

Kayn was also happy, this was going to be of good use later.

"Hmm, also, can you search for the Dragonballs, we'll definitely need those later." Kayn thought for a moment.

The Dragonballs were weak now, this was mainly because of Kami. He was old and weak, thus, the Dragonballs were limited in power. However, this would later change with Dende, who was younger and far more talented than Kami. With Dende being reinstated as the new god; the Dragonballs could do far more, like reviving a long-dead Freiza.

"That's a great idea. We should always have the Dragonballs on us just in case of an emergency." Bulma could use the adventure, so she was on board with hunting for the Dragonballs.

"Perfect."
