Chapter 37 - New Technique!

The time span of 3 months had gone by. In these 3 months, Kayn just relaxed. He had a lot on his mind, mainly dealing with his [Instant transmission]. Goku was able to [Instant Transmission] his way to King Kai's planet with Cell at that time. Kayn asked the system about this, and it told him it had a lot to do with the Hyperbolic time chamber.

The Hyperbolic time chamber could improve people in many different ways at a quicker rate. Of course, Kayn couldn't slack long, so he started to work on his [Ki Control]. His strength was rising by itself, but only little by little, however, it was better than nothing.

Kayn's Ki Control was the highest on his status page. With how high his Proficiency was, he was able to easily form a Ki Blade. The Ki Blade had ripples of Ki fluctuating around it; the color of the blade was Yellow like his Super Saiyan forms.

Kayn waved it around and nodded with satisfaction. Forming such a blade was easy to do for him as he was now. He wanted to get a few things done before leaving for OtherWorld, at least before the deadline.

When the next day came around, he ate breakfast and washed up before heading to a quiet and secluded area. "This place should be perfect, I really hope I can resist the temptation of this transformation."

That's right, he wanted to practice on trying to unlock the Ikari-form. However, even Super Saiyan 3 Goku had trouble resisting the urge, no, he couldn't resist and eventually turned into a Giant Oozaru, and eventually SS4 or the Great Ape in human form.

Thinking about that particular event, this somewhat dented his confidence to overcome it. Kayn stood there for a while in deep thought. After a while, he came to the conclusion that he was different and should be better.

"Let's give it a go. Powerball!" A whitish-blue ball appeared in Kayn's hand, then he threw into the sky. After looking at the Powerball hovering in the sky like a moon for a second, it started to take its toll on him.

"Come on! I got thi.... Argggg!" Kayn suddenly roared, and his body started to transform.

He clearly couldn't resist and started transformed anyway. Hair grew on his body and his size increased dramatically! His eyes were beaming with red light; the hairs on his body had all turned Yellow/Gold in color.

"Shit!" Kayn's Oozaru voice resounded throughout the area, he knew he had failed. He also noticed something different about himself, the height of his Oozaru form was far bigger than what he was those years ago. The last time he was an Oozaru he only stood around 30 to 35 feet or so, but now, he was 100 feet tall!

Kayn looked down at the forest, then he gazed across the landscape. What was really good about turning into an Oozaru as a Super Saiyan was the fact that the x10 multiplier would be added to your strength.

After failing his first attempt, he destroyed the Powerball and tried again to no avail. Of course, Kayn continued to fail but he kept trying. Time passed and after 1 month, he still saw no progress in resisting the Blutz Energy.

"Forget it. I'll wait until another time to try, maybe it will work when my strength is higher." Kayn didn't attempt to try anymore, it was a waste of time to keep trying.

Kayn changed back into his Base form, he was done staying as a Super Saiyan 2 all day. He wanted to go to earth but that wouldn't be a good idea now.

If he remembered correctly, Dr.Gero was always monitoring the Z-fighters. Dr. Gero was taking videos of their fighting styles, samples of their blood, and monitoring their personality traits to find possible weaknesses. This was all for his greatest creation, as Cell knew Vegeta's weakness was his pride. Thus, Vegeta allowed Cell to absorb Android 18 to reach his perfect state.

Dr.Gero was also monitoring the Z-fighter on Planet Namek. He was able to get some of Frieza's blood during his fight with Goku. This was also how Dr. Gero was able to get Vegeta's blood sample. If Kayn was monitored and study, or worse, have a sample of his blood taken, it could prove to be troublesome later.

Kayn knew the times Dr.Gero would be monitoring them. When the Saiyans first arrived one earth, including Raditz, Dr. Gero wouldn't be monitoring them. However, when Goku board the Ship to Namek, he would send a small monitoring device to watch Goku. The whole time Goku was training, he was being watched!

Kayn sighed, could he go to Namek? But Kayn thought that he would surely discover if something was trying to take his blood. In fact, no one on planet Namek could or should be able to make him bleed. However, there was one thing that could make him bleed, and that would be if Captain Ginyu body switched him.

"I can go to Namek at that time, I shouldn't have to worry about anything." Kayn didn't want to make an appearance. If he did and Dr. Gero saw how powerful he really was, he might switch up a few of his plans or delay them.

However, all he had to do was avoid fighting. After the Planet Namek saga, Dr.Gero would stop monitoring the Z-fighters to work further on his Androids. Kayn only needed to act if something strange happened out of what should be.

"Everything must go within my understanding, I have to control how these things work or I might be in for a surprise." Kayn couldn't take the chance when it came to Cell, as long as Cell didn't get any of his Genes, Kayn could kill him outright.

He had to think about it, but he decided he would go to earth after the OtherWorld Tournament. However, he would keep a low profile, he also wanted to do somethings on earth.

"Gine and Bardock should have arrived at that planet by now." It was estimated that King Kai would send someone to get him 4 to 5 months from now. He only hoped that Bardock and Gine would be back by then.

Kayn also learned that you could use the Super Saiyan with Kaio-Ken. However, the stress levels were extremely high without [GodEssense]. Kayn vowed to never try that again until he became a Super Sayan God.

Kayn's course at that time had sent him backward from the original area where the earth was located.

He circulated the Ki in his body to strengthen his senses to go further beyond. He could sense Nail on Planet Namek, so Teleporting there was a problem for him now. Even Yardrat was within his scope now.

Earth was a year away from Derail 7, but once Kayn's Ki-Sense reached -D Rank, he could travel to Otherworld with no problem. Kayn was sat cross-legged for a while sending his Ki senses out, he discovered many nearby planets that had life on them.

While expanding his Senses, he noticed that his Proficiency in Ki-Sense had gone up.

"Now, the next thing I'll have to work on in the future is Super Saiyan 3." Kayn wanted to give his Super Saiyan 1 and 2 forms more time before trying to reach the 3rd level.

"It isn't like it'll go up anymore now, I need to fight someone, badly." Kayn's S-Cells had stopped at 269, but they would still go up by 1% and every once in a while.

Kayn had more time to spare, so he thought it would be best to come up with a Technique for himself. "What could the Technique be? Will I have to just settle for a beam attack or something, it has to be good."

"Ha! I 2 skills in mind, but one of them would require high Ki-Control. I'll attempt it, for now, let's see how it works." Kayn walked outside and walked a few steps away from his house.

Kayn stuck out his hand and channeled his Ki. Everything had turned quiet, Kayn closed his eyes as he seemed to be in deep focus. Suddenly, Ki surged through his hand; it slowly started to take form into the shape of a claw.

"Hahaha! It worked, it actually worked, but this is only a small part of what I want to do for this skill." Kayn wanted to use these claws to attack people from afar as well. He even wanted to advance this skill by summoning claws out of his back to attack people.

Of course, this was only the use of Ki-Control, but if he practiced shaping this type of skill all the time, it would become a Technique.

"Next, let's try creating a Beam skill." When creating a skill, it had to be unique, like Piccolo's [Special Beam Cannon], or Krillen's [Destructo Disc]. Of course, after trying, he failed with this one. It took time to hone and create a Beam-like Technique other than Ball-shaped Techniques.

"Looks like something I can look forward to. I better start practicing this, since I don't have many offensive skills."

Kayn was aware of the way to create skills, it reminded him of those cultivation novels from his world. It was like you had to create a type of energy in your body, then once it was made, you would release it throughout your body.

You would continue to do this process for a while until you felt your body get used to this type of Energy. Once your body was used to this type of energy, you could now use it anytime by launching it outward.

That's when it became a skill.

Kayn also knew the more you did the process of creation, the stronger it would be, it also depended on how strong the user was. Of course, he did just that; this is what he decided to do until it was that time.

Time passed a usual; he did this process every other day. Forming the Ki in his body, then releasing and allowing it to spread through his body. Kayn would work up an enormous appetite doing this every other day, so he ate a lot.

And just like that, the 8th month had arrived. Kayn went out to try his new skill, he had been training it for 4 months every other day.

He powered up the skill, its charge was similar to the Kamehameha skill, but it was not lowered when charging, instead, it was high with the charge being next to his head. Kayn's whole body was engulfed in red light, then he launched skill toward the sky.

A thick beam shot through the air, kicking up wind and causing rocks nearby to shatter. The Red laser had a burgundy tint around it, giving it that world-ending feeling. Once the laser was far way, it exploded in space.

It looked similar to the nuke scene in the movie Batman vs superman dawn of justice, but the sky was red instead.

Kayn grinned happily when he heard the system notification.

"I'll call it the [Genocide Cannon]!" Once he said that he heard a notification, and the skill appeared on his status sheet.

This Skill took time to charge due to how new it was, it was similar to when Vegeta first used his [Galick Gun] and [Final Flash] Skill. Kayn also noticed that his power level while using the skill nearly doubled, but this was only the skill's power level.

"Kayn, can you hear me, coming in, Kayn are there?" Just when he was rejoicing about his new skill, he heard a familiar voice.

It was King Kai.
