Chapter 23 - Unknown Suspect!

Kayn continued to ransack through Frieza's planets one after the other. These obvious provocations didn't go unnoticed by the Tyrant at all. Kayn had already destroyed a total of 5 Frieza planets, thus, a year and a half had already passed.

Slam!

A table was destroyed by Frieza's tail, his teeth gritting as a visible vain could be seen on his horned head. "Someone's deliberately trying to provoke me, tell me Zarbon, who could be so daring to provoke I, the Great Lord Frieza?"

Zarbon had some sweat on his face due to nervousness; putting his hand over his heart, he bowed slightly and said. "Lord Frieza, there is no one that we know that is capable of hurting you or going against you. This may be....." Zarbon was extremely hesitant to say what he wanted to say.

Frieza, whose gaze stared out the window into space menacingly looked over at Zarbon.

"Speak! Don't hold back, I really want to hear it." Frieza smirked slightly, as his gaze peered at Zarbon's face.

"Ah, yes. Ahem, the only individuals that could go against you is your Brother and Father. So I can't say that these 2 shouldn't be included and suspicious."

Frieza frowned when he heard this, they would be the best suspects; this was mainly so for his brother.

"Of course, I'm not blaming them, I was just giving my suggestions and thoughts. We don't need to look into any of your family members." Zarbon somewhat panicked when he saw Frieza's expression and hurriedly explained

"No, you're not wrong, they are prime suspects. This is mainly so for Cooler, he must have thought none of my sh.i.p.s caught him spying on me when I destroyed the Saiyan's planet, he's suspicious indeed." Frieza's voice turned cold when he recounted that moment.

"What of Vegeta and his crew?" Frieza suddenly asked.

"As usual; they're handling the missions given to them with no problem. Hmph! The little monkeys think they're worth something when they're just pawns." Zarbon couldn't stand Vegeta's attitude towards him; Vegeta always looked at him with contempt. Even though Vegeta never said anything to him, his gaze was enough to speak for itself.

"Don't let them rest, keep handing jobs out to them as usual." Frieza said and continued "Also, investigate who is behind all of this, I need to know. We need to figure out where he will strike next, I might have to make a move if this keeps happening, and I would hate to have incompetent fools working for me; forcing me to make a move."

"Ah, right away Lord Frieza! I'll have someone deal with it immediately!" Zarbon turned to leave, but not before Frieza gave him another order.

"Also, call Dodoria back, he doesn't need to stand at his post anymore." Frieza said, staring into the void of space.

"Right away, Lord!"

Right as Zarbon left, Frieza clenched his fist, he was still angry! "I really wanna see who has such audacity?"

Suddenly, an alien was blasted into ash, dying on the spot. Many aliens fought as best as they could but they were no match for the group of Saiyans. Soon, there wasn't an alien left alive on this planet, it took them a week to finish this mission.

"Finally done, these guys are like roaches, they just won't stay down." Nappa smiled as he observed the smokey charred corpses.

"For weaklings, they had some fighting spirit but you need more than spirit to get anything done." Anya, the Saiyan female spoke sarcastically.

Author Note: Yes, I changed her name from Onio to Anya because I thought it was better. :D

Vegeta didn't say anything, he was chomping down on a fruit as large as a pineapple. He picked this fruit off a nearby tree, he sat on a boulder and continued to eat to himself.

"Have you guys heard from the announcements? There's someone going around destroying Frieza's planets." Raditz held his chin and continued. "They say this person goes to the planet and kills the soldiers stationed there, then destroys the planet before leaving."

Vegeta stopped eating the unknown fruit in his hand and looked over at Raditz. Vegeta didn't seem to care that he was being monitored by the scouter and said. "He's doing good work whoever he is, but he better not get caught or he'll surely meet his end."

He knew Frieza wouldn't just outright kill him if he said a few smart words, as Frieza didn't put Vegeta and rest in his eyes, they were just too weak. He only kept Vegeta and company around to work for him and teased them harshly. However, Frieza would think about the so-called legendary Super Saiyan every now and then, but he believed this to be nothing more than a myth at this point.

"Hmm, he's probably some foreign race that had his planet stolen or destroyed by Frieza." Nappa scratched his head with barely any hair left on it.

"Tsk! What does it matter? Once he gets caught, it's the end for him, all he's doing is making Frieza mad." Anya shook her head, she honestly wished for Frieza to die but they knew that even together, including the use of their Oozaru forms, they couldn't beat him.

"..."

"..."

None of them denied this, they didn't know about Frieza having strong family members. Vegeta was aware of King Cold but not his other son, Cooler.

Vegeta and the Group's Scouters blinked, as a message popped up.

"We've already received a message for another mission? This guy really wants to keep us busy!" Vegeta clenched his fist tightly and crushed the fruit in his hand. He could clearly see what Frieza was trying to do.

"We should head to an outpost to eat and rest, then continue our mission's from there." Anya also wasn't ignorant to what was going on, but all of them believed that Planet Vegeta was destroyed by a large Meteorite.

"Let's go!" Vegeta stood up and called his space pod over with a remote. Everyone else did the same and left the planet soon after.

At this time, Kayn spent his time on an alien planet where many races came and went. He sported a black cloak to hide most of this body since most people believed all the Saiyans dead at this point, besides the ones working for Frieza.

Everyone knew how much of a tumor the Saiyans were, so no one felt sad when they were deleted from the Universe. In fact, there were many who rejoiced at their destruction, but they simply called it karma striking back at them.

Kayn had to get out of the Space Pod and walk around for a bit. He couldn't just work a full 3 or more years destroying Frieza's planets.

After relaxing for a month on this planet, it was time to get back to the Objective at hand. When he first came to this planet, some people tried to rob him but ended up getting robbed for all that they had. Kayn wasn't a menace, he just beat them and knocked them, taking all of their gear to sell and keeping their money for himself.

Kayn appeared in a solitary place, then took out his Space Pod to leave the planet.

He had looked at the Mission Log a number of times over the month. Kayn's sighed, he honestly just wanted to relax somewhere and sleep for a long time. However, this fighting constantly benefited him greatly, so he couldn't pass up this chance.

"On to the next planet, this will be the 6th one then I'll only have 4 more to take out. Frieza must be aware at this point, he has to be, right?" Kayn was sure that Frieza wouldn't neglect this clear provocation, and may try to catch him.

"If I wanted to catch me, I would surely want to predict where I would go next. Looks like I'll have to avoid the next Freiza planet, and travel further into space to other Freiza owned planets." Kayn felt like he was overthinking, but it was best to be safe than a very sorry and regretful person later.

With that, he didn't stop at the closes Frieza planet and ventured further beyond those closeby. This was sadly going to waste more time, but he felt better when he saw his strength rising every time.

There were just too many powerful individuals outside of this universe, his strength was nothing to those people. Kayn wanted to be way ahead of the game, he had the Ancient Saiayn Bloodline at his disposal to further amp his strength later.

After 4 months, he arrived at a different sector controlled by Frieza. The control of each section was divided up by 4 people in the universe. Kayn knew 2 right off the back, but the other 2 he wasn't so sure about.

He knew Frieza and King Cold controlled different position in the universe. As for his theory, he wasn't sure if Cooler was a thing, but if he was, then he controlled a certain area in the universe as well. The last person that came to mind was Slug, he also couldn't confirm if he was a thing or not.

Kayn came out of stasis and saw the planet he was going to attack. This planet had more people guarding it than usual planets he attacked. He believed that there maybe something special here or about this place; this is only what Kayn speculated.
