When they returned to the law firm from the hospital, another paralegal rushed over. When she saw her red and swollen face, she covered his mouth in surprise. “Ms. Su, are… are you alright?”

“I’m fine.” Su Yanxi pursed her lips and walked in.

“The hospital just called to apologize for the hit on Ms. Su, as well as providing information on the case…” Cheng Xue followed behind her with a worried look on her face as she reported carefully, observing her expression from time to time.

About twenty minutes later, Cheng Xue walked in with the takeout, “Ms. Su, the takeout is here.”

“Bring it over!” She pushed the documents on the table aside and waited for Cheng Xue to put them down before looking up with a faint smile, “Thank you, you may continue with your work now!”

“Okay.” Cheng Xue replied and left the office. However, she met Mo Bai who had just returned at the door. She quickly smiled and nodded, “Barrister Mo, you’re back.”

“Yes.” Mo Bai frowned slightly with a very serious expression, “Is Yanxi in there?”

“Yes.”

As soon as Cheng Xue finished speaking, Mo Bai pushed open the office door and walked in. Seeing that she was eating, he instinctively raised his wrist to look at the time and frowned even more, “It’s almost three o’clock and you are just having lunch now?”

Su Yanxi put down her chopsticks and asked with a smile, “I’ve seen it. Don’t worry! I’ve asked you so many questions, but you haven’t answered any of them.”

Upon hearing that, Mo Bai narrowed his eyes and placed the file in his hand on the table, “I bumped into Yi Yao when I came back just now. I took this from Yi Yao and she said that it was your client’s divorce application. When did you take on another divorce case? Why didn’t I know about it?”

“Then why did he suddenly withdraw the lawsuit?”
