“Are you done hugging?” The man’s cold voice came over, and the gaze that landed on Tang Xinluo’s face was very unfriendly.

Tang Xinluo’s lips curved up and gave a smile with deep meaning. “Dear, are you finding fault with me?”

Originally, she was much more passive than him; but now, she took the initiative.

Tang Xinluo’s voice was thin and sweet. Even though she had been married twice, she was still in her twenties. Not only was her voice sweet, but her entire self was also like a flower that just bloomed. It was pretty and seductive.

Lu Yuchen’s cold heart accidentally swayed when he met with her crystal, clear eyes.

His faraway gaze swept across her five features.

Her peach eyes were filled with water, and her pink lips curled up slightly. He clearly knew that she was acting, but seeing her acting like she was indignant, he could help but to feel bad.

He extended his hand and pressed her head against his chest as he ruffled her hair. “No…”

At first, he wanted to calm himself down before he talked to her; but this woman was actually very sensitive. He only distanced himself slightly away from her, and it already made her uneasy.

“But I think… you went out to eat in the few days that we didn’t see each other, right?” Her head was still against his chest, and she sounded very upset.

There was a flash in Lu Yuchen’s dark eyes, and the lines on his face became even colder.

“Why? Are you asking about my whereabouts, or are you questioning why I’m being cold to you?”

“No, I’m not.” Tang Xinluo denied without much thought, but she still sounded upset.

Lu Yuchen lifted her face and forced her to make eye contact with him.

“Mrs. Lu, I hope you understand something.” There was something cold about his smile that sent a chill down other people’s spine. “Our marriage is only a paper agreement. In this one year, you’ll get whatever you deserve and everything you want from me. We don’t owe each other and will not interfere with each other’s businesses.

“Do you understand?” When he said the last word, his tone went up which was slightly seductive; but it did not falter Tang Xinluo’s heart.

“Understood.” She nodded, but she did not know if she was happy or disappointed.

Her probe was a success. At the very least, she understood what Lu Yuchen really wanted.

Their marriage would not be affected by any other women within this one year.

She could freely use her ‘Mrs. Lu’ identity to do the things that she wanted, but other than this, she did not have any right to interfere with Lu Yuchen’s business.

Of course, it sounded as if he would not interfere with her privacy either.

This was good and was exactly like their agreement, but…

Why was there a weird feeling in her heart?

Tang Xinluo forced herself to not overthink and smiled at Lu Yuchen.

“Mr. Lu, don’t worry. Since I took your money, I’ll dispel your problems for you. We already signed a contract. Of course, I wouldn’t put Mr. Lu in a difficult spot. As for what I said just now, I just did it casually in my capacity as Mrs. Lu. I thought… that Mr. Lu preferred that kind of Mrs. Lu.

“However, now I know. It turns out… Mr. Lu doesn’t like Mrs. Lu to ask too much. Don’t worry, this won’t happen again.”

After finishing her sentence, Tang Xinluo held her body up and moved away from Lu Yuchen’s arms.

She sat back at her seat again as if nothing had happened and carried on watching movies on her favorite iPad.

Lu Yuchen’s eyes darkened as he saw the woman nonchalantly backing away from his arms.

This was clearly the Young Mrs. Lu she needed, but the moment her soft body moved away from his arms, why did he feel a certain disappointment?

He reached out his bony hand and rubbed his brows. He thought that he had been too busy, which caused his brain to be unclear.

This short segment passed really fast. After the plane landed in A City, Lu Yuchen’s attitude towards Tang Xinluo became as warm and loving as it was before they left.

However, Tang Xinluo would not be misled again.
