“Starlight City… You mean to say Great Knight Shidon is also here?”

The team immediately relayed everything back to the church after getting this clue, waiting for the order from their superior. Although they had determined that this Lich was quite likely their colleagues’ murderer, they had to follow the orders as knights of the church.

But while this team was waiting for the reply from the church, the old farmer, who provided them with the clue, came knocking at their doors crying, hoping that they could save his grandchild. Naturally, these knights could not refuse the pleadings of the old farmer with a cold heart. And keeping mind to their own revenge, these paladins decided to venture deep into the Shadow Canyon to investigate in the end. Even if they didn’t have a conflict with the Lich, it would still be better as long as they found some clues.

But what they didn’t expect that it was all a trap from the beginning. The old farmer, who gave them the news, was a cultist, in fact!
