'Dammit..what the hell?'

Michael tried to look around, but there was nothing his eyes could register. The feeling was similar to having someone glueing your eyelids shut with hot glue.

'Uh, my head hurts.'

Even tough he could barely see, he could sometimes feel his limbs twitch. Almost as if they were being told to do so by something else.

Slowly, the rays emitted from the window inside his room reached both eyes. And with that, he felt the strenght surge throughout his body once more, allowing him to open his regain his sight.

He tried standing up while at the same time retracting the eyelids which were once sealed.

"Why do I suddenly feel so heavy?"

As he opened his eyes, Michael was greeted by his new body.

He had now reached a height of a little over two metres. The two horns on his head had grown a little longer alongside his thick black hair, which now covered the tip of his spine, Like the tail of a large beast. The rest of his body had an increase in mucle growth once more, making it look like he wore some type of heavy body armour underneath the naturally generated black clothes.

His eyes now had a black ring which encircled the layer closest to the eye balls. His pupils had grown more slit and now a little crooked. Turning them into hammered spikes showing their brilliance inside the gold and red irises.

The sharp black nails on his fingers were now retractable, able to reach 5 centimetres when fully stretced, and up to his finger tips when retracted.

As his body had grown, so had his face. Altough he was very tall and muscular, Michael looked a little more like a young adult than some grown man. Most likely because this body was much younger than his previous one.

If removing the black clothes which he could produce naturally, you would se that the previous thick black lines were now much thinner. Still, however, carving out each of the newly developed mucles. The skin which the marks now lay upon had grown to a somewhat white, yet somewhat tan color. He didn't look pale and sick like the vampire he had fought, but wasn't too dark either.

The teeth in his mouth had begun to form some sharper edges, not taking the form of fangs, but more like some very thick scissors. The newly built plates of flesh still had a visible fiber lining whenever he tried to tighten them. However, if he did it too much, he would start to expand rapidly.

Once more, Michael tried to flex his arm, wanting to see if it would blow up. After stretching the lengthened forelimb out, he noticed that instead of leisurely increasing in size, it began to first shake, then explode out like a ballon almost about to pop.

The power Michael generated when his mucles enflated like this was a at least ten times more powerful than when in his previous Hel'Börger form. This new evolution was certainly on the superior side.

"Lesser Ogre wight?"

[Lesser Ogre Wight: Ogres with a more demon/humanoid body than that of regular ogres. They hold much grander strength feats than their normal cousins, and even Elder Trolls. Including this, is their superiority in elemental magic, which rivals orc shamans. They have a more human appearence in their base form, but can call upon all the creatures mixed in their tainted bloodline to enhance their bodies. They specialize in dance enhancing magic, and grow up to two metres tall.]

"Well, doesn't seem too bad. I still hold some traits of the hel'slakter."

He only brushed it off while finding some Shapeshifting pills inside his ring. Jenkins must have left some in case.

After checking his expanded ring, Michael set his eye on the little football sized goblin looking at him with its green eyes.

"hm?"

.

[Familiar max level!]

[Do you wish to evolve Goblin:Nemesis?]

.

He looked deeper into the eyes of the goblin.

Feeling it's master's gaze, the goblin turned back towards him. Not quite understanding what this big demon was desiring.

Seeing it had no idea what was going on, Michael just shrugged it off while mumbling.

"I'll evolve you when Jenkins comes back."

Right now, he could not turn back into his human size, and he also did not have anything to do at the moment.

"Let me try and get some enlightenment in the essences I study.. It would be better than doing nothing until that weirdo arrives."

He satt down in the much smaller room cross legged. The room was originally spacey enough for both him and the other two, but his new enlargement made him fill up 1/3 of the dusty bedroom.

"I'll starter with wind, then go down from there. Dark is not an essence I know much about, so lets leave it for now."

He closed his large red/gols eyes. Visualizing how each of these elements were made up.

"Wonder if using my old knowledge about atoms, laws of physics and the molecular structure of cells would help me here."

Michael then dreamt himself away, forgetting about the current world.

...

Two days passed since Michael had begun to immerse himself into studying. Reviewing all his foreknowledge about science and human atonomy to further strenghten his understanding.

'Gold..Gold is the most malleable of all the metals, yet the most noble of them. It means they are the most resistance to corrosion and oxidation, or air corrosion if you would. Gold can be created by exposing platinum or mercury to large amounts of radiation. The metal is a good conducter of electricity and heat, and is usually binded with other metals to get stronger. It can also in some cases be eaten."

"Blood is made up of red blood cells. These cells are responsible for transporting oxygen, carbon dioxide and nutrions. But what are the cells made of? I know that the reason it's red is because of the hemoglobin contained inside. Also, this helps them transport the previous. However, if I must go in-depth with this world's standard. Blood would be described as a mass of small blocks, using the nutrions they carry to enforce themselvs. Or would it?"

"Ice is an inorganic material. It is just liquid water in solid form. You can see how clean it is through it's transparency. The more discernible, the cleaner. Back on earth, it was considered a mineral because of the crystaline structure the ice crystals had through a telescope, and also because it's naturally produced in nature."

"Wind is easier to grasp. It's just gas flowing or moving on a large scale. On a planet with an atmosphere, wind is usually depicted togheter with air particles. But in space, wind would be defined as a lump of charged particles, rays or other gasses being transported through the endless stary void."

He kept sitting there, togheter with the snorring goblin which laid on his lap and the duck egg which still sat on the desk inside his room.

The days he ditched classes, Michael felt something in his powerful body slowly grow. Building itself, yet slowly seperating.

As a short breeze was formed by his heavy exhaling, it blew through his long and thick black mane. Passing by the horns, picking up some of the floating dust particles around him and leaving.

"I wonder if this is working.."

Too bad he didn't have time to check, as his door was forcefully, but successfully opened up.

"Whats up devil boy! Did you miss me?!"

And here he was.

Michael was about to answer him with a straight 'No' but stopped when he saw his appearance.

The previous black tuxedo he wore was torn in several places, and had even more dirt patches spread around on the less destroyed parts. The whole thing was in short terms, now more similar to the fur on a unclean dog.

There was a large red spot on the left side of his head, covering some of the ruff golden locks he had. His pants were ruined beyond repair, only visible if you watched the part which covered his little brother.

No damage was done to his skin, as it most likely was more durable than the textiles he wore.

And lastly..

"Why do you have a human body on your back?"

There was some sort of thin human held on his shoulder. The thin figure covered in raggs, and the skin looked like some aged paper.

"Oh, this? Yeah, just some guy I found in Dr. V-shape's cave when I explored it. He used to be from a small group of intelligent wendigos originating from the experiment Halrel did. The first girl was a pile of bones, so I took this baby instead. Pretty sweet, right?"

Jenkins didn't even give him enough time to answer before throwing the ancient body onto his bed.

"What the hell dude?! Thats my bed!"

"Che! You don't even fit it anymore you fat demon!...what race is that? Some type of troll?"

"Lesser ogre wight actually."

Jenkins began to laugh a little when he heard the name. Forming his trademark dimples onto the dirty cheeks.

"Wow. What a shitty evolution. I bet evolving into a lich would make you 1/100 000th as good a magician as me, so you should go for the next skeleton type race."

"No thank you."

Michael went up to the bed and teleported the corpse into the dungeon, as his body had fused with a shard of it, and this was no longer a living being.

"Tsk, fine. Anyways, I sense you have improved your essence understanding. Let me take a look then."

Without much say, he just opened the magic essence part of his status.

[Magic essence: Wind 40% Ice:50% Gold:30% Dark:0% Blood:40%]

They both starred at it with awe, not taking any of their attention away from it.

"HOW?!?! HOW DO YOU F**** Oh, no wait. You have the 'Understanding' ability fused with something else, and I bet your culture knows much more about these things than this one."

"Is that so? then what happens when I reach 100%?"

Jenkins made a more serious face when asked such important questions. Losing his previous funny attitude.

"You begin to grasp laws. Don't get on it for now, only tell me where you are from."

His eyes seemed to focus more onto Michael's face as he asked. Almost preparing to act if something not to his liking was said.

"Earth, you know where that is?"

Michael only causally answered him. Not caring about what he would do.

However, as he thought Jenkins would fly off, he made a rather strange expression, as if Michael was some sort of idiot.

"You are not a reincarnator from earth."

Claiming he was not from earth? Well, where was he from?

"Why is that then?"

Michael didn't bother arguing, only wanting to know why he was given such an answer.

The elf crossed his arms and positioned himself in a more stable stance, planning on proving that Michael was a liar.

"Well, firstly, there has never been a reincarnator who possessed such abilites as yours come to Farleng. And especially not Earth."

"And second of all, there already is a whole bunch of them down in the royal castle. Talking about how they are going to 'save this world from some demon lord' or something. By the way, I am glad you're not with those idiots."

To this unexpected answer, Michael almost passed out from.

"What?!"

His heavy voice rang out in the room made of planks. It would definitely echo throughout the academy if the walls were not soundproof.

"Yeah, bunch of losers. Lets go blow them up. I hate dum people."

Blow them up? He wanted to know who sendt them here, and why.

"No! Please Jenkins, can we go meet them?"

Michael felt his heart beat faster and heavier. Most certainly this was caught by Jenkins, as he twitched his ears a little before putting on a poker face.

"You know what? Fine. After the heist, we can go there. Only because that old guy owes me."

Jenkins closed his pretty blue eyes and nodded. This matter seemed important to his good brother, so why not.

Noticing how Michael's heartbeat had calmed down, he tried to brighten up the mood by suggesting something else.

"Enough talk, damn ogre. Evolve that goblin!"

Michael smirked kindly at him, then taking his gaze towards Nemesis.

"Fine, fine..."

He opened up the status menu for his familiars, pressing the evolve button for the goblin.
