Right now, the lightly robed Michael and Jenkins sat opposite to each other inside a very well made carriage. The wood it was sculptured of truly some of the finest quality. Not even losing out to any used by nobles.

On Jenkins side was a bunch of luggage. However, it only containted some things he wanted to auction off. Bringing them like this would make the bouncer more happy to receive him.

As for Michael, he had a small goblin sitting on his lap, currently eating some sort blue fruit. The egg was inside an incubator Jenkins had made with the help of some lesser balrog core.

They were currently discussing what types of skills Michael should assimilate togheter with 'Skill assimilation'. He was starring into the screen, while Jenkins kept talking.

"So which should I fuse again did you say?"

Jenkins looked towards the screen, answering him slowly so that he got what he said.

"Fuse all the abilites which will overlap to create a stronger one. You can just try and see which go together. Only, don't end up with less than three skills in the end."

"That was all the skills you could fuse? I bet you'll get more after evolving. We are almost at the academy now, so you can check the evolutions you have available after passing the tests. Just make sure you DON'T evolve without me."

He smiled towards Michael, or Marss for now. Hoping he would heed his advice.

"I don't want to evolve into a satanic pig by accident. So you can rest assured."

Michael looked down at the goblin, still chewing on the blue fruit.

"What gender is this thing? There wasn't anything on the familiar screen..."

Jenkins looked down at the ugly thing, now wearing some piece of his red king's robe tied around the body like a rag.

"It's a boy."

Michael removed his gaze from the creature, looking towards Jenkins.

"Why didn't you max this guy's level out?"

"I forgot to."

*Silence

"Any notes I should take before leaving?"

"Yes! I am glad you asked. I don't know which world you come from, but here, the strong rule. Although society is not unfair against those who lack power, the ones who have get more. So show a little off when you get there."

"Thanks, i'll remember that. Also, in those voicemails you left me, there was something about 'bad news'?"

Jenkins did not move. Standing still for a second.

"Oh yeah! that! Well, I got them off our chase for atleast two more months! You may thank me now."

"Atleast tell me what happened?"

*Dunk

"AH WE ARE HERE! GET YOUR STUFF!"

The carriage stopped after having travelled for three days straight. The Academy wasn't too far away from the 'Hellgreen woods' Michael had just cut down. It was often used for a place where students would go train and practice.

The average layer one had to be to enter was the (High) soldier layer. The more energy one had, the more spells one could fire off. And of course, the stronger ones could be mastered. Michael was currently hiding his layer with something Jenkins made. For now, he was considered a (middle) layer Master (rank 2).

All the teacher were at the (peak general realm) or (Low) King realm, whilst the vice principal was a (High) king, and the principal was a (middle) emperor.

When he exited the carriage, Michael was met by a crowd of people with their own traveling carts and horses. Seemed like many were planning on getting in.

The one thing these people had in common was the weird symbols which were engraved on each individual vehicle. And of course, all those handsome and pretty noble snobs.

Most of the surroundings were empty, only a town could be seen further back in the distant, while a massive grey castle stood before them. The whole place was covered by a large flatland mixed between some fresh grass, and dried light brown soil.

After waiting for a while, some flying old man in a robe flew out from the gate. Proceeding to take all of the ones who wished to join.

The gate was very large, letting all fit in and move on. The wizard took everyone to some sort of grass yard, with several different test dummies and bags.

However, first one had to be tested for any 'Magic affinity'. Having such a thing was considered very rare, so everone who had it could be called a genius in some way.

A long line was formed, however, it quickly shrunk, as many found out their aptitude was too low to be able to train properly.

Michael was nearing the end, standing in front of some white haired and blue eyed teens. Was they all from the same family? Well, the two boys looked close, but the girl on their side was not that welcoming.

Noticing the one behind them, one instantly began to berate his average looks.

"haha look, Sister Gwen. Is that a commoner who wishes to try his luck?"

The tallest one spoke. Seems like they all were from the same family.

"Ignore such shameful creatures. Our 'Snow serpent" family does not need to bother with trash."

The girl gave Michael a disgusted glance, not even viewing him as more than an ant.

Usually, Michael would ignore them. But now, he found a weak flame of anger burning inside his belly. Wanting to say something back, he stopped. Remembering that he was more disciplined than this.

Seeing that the commoner ignored him, they turned their attention towards the examiner who was waiting for them.

Each one placed their hand on a large blue bulb. When the boys came into contact with it, a weak white light glowed on top of it. As for the girl, her was much more blinding.

The tallest boy once more spoke, looking at Michael with a mocking look.

"Truly, my sister is the most blessed here. You should give her some face and bow down to her, commoner."

However, Michael only stood there. Having a hard time believing that such trash existed outside the books he had read.

Seeing that the black haired boy refused to bow, he was planning on pushing him into the dirt, but the examiner interrupted.

"Boy, I do not have all day. Let me test your affinity."

Seeing this, the white haired boy wanted to say something, but was interrupted by his younger brother.

"Talin, why don't we just watch as that guy makes a fool of himself?"

A weak smile blossomed on the handsome face. Now waiting there with his brother. The sister just stood behind, not caring one bit about such weak trash.

Michael walked towards the examiner, placing his hand on the cold globe. After a second, it turned into a grey color.

"Wind, huh? Looks like even trash have some ability." The white haired teen by named talin did not admitted he was wrong, only wanting to walk away.

However...

Several voices began to get louder. Including that of the examiner.

He turned around together with his siblings, wanting to find out what this commotion was about.

The sight that greeted him almost turned his brain into soup.

"MY GOD! HE HAS FOUR ESSENCE AFFINITIES!" The examiner was the first to act. Throwing open a book he had on desk.

"L..Let's see.."

He turned page after page, finally stopping on one.

"Young man, you possess a strong affinity to Wind, Gold, ice and Darkness. Gold is one of the rarest elements too! This combination is something else... Please, wait here as I contact the vice principal.."

The blue robed examiner stood up, wanting to bring someone with more authority.

"No need, grel. I have seen all of it."

Above them was a middle aged man. He was floating in the air while looking down on all the student. He was completely bald. Not even having eyebrows. The eyes were purple, seeming to hold a mysterious power behind them.

He lowered himself in front of Michael.

"Kid, state your name."

Michael looked at him, feeling the strong gaze penetrate his soul.

"Marss."

"Very good, Marss. I see you are at the Master layer. Your talent is rarely seen, so I wished to ask if you would you be interested in becoming my student?"

The surrounding people were astonished. Was this the vice principal? Personally asking if he wanted to be tutored under him?

For most, this was a shocker. But for the boy named Talin, he felt his ears bleed. Had he offended some future big figure just now?

"That would be pretty nice, However..."

The vice principal sharpened his eyes. Looking deeper at the golden eyed boy.

"However what?"

"I wouldn't be able to study while seeing the face of that white haired boy."

Michael pointed his finger at the dumbfounded Talin who was sweating like a mad horse.

...

"Very good. Grel, throw that trash out of here."

The bald man instantly looked towards the examiner named grel, piercing him with the purple gaze.

"B..But sir, he is from the 'Snow serpent' clan. Shouldn't we atleast..."

"No, just throw him out."

After giving his order, the wizard just sendt a gust of wind at the boy, making him fly back behind the large gate.

The brother and sister wished to argue with him, but seeing the purple eyes made then stop in their tracks.

"Marss, after you are done with tomorrow's class, come to my office."

He then flew off, deeper into the academy.

As for the two remaining clan members, they only starred daggers at Marss before going their own way.

Vert satisfied with how things went, he continued over to the next task.

He arrived near some sandbags. Several of the students who wmhad passed the first test were looking into their skill and energy efficiency. It was basically just punching some bag whike using a energy or some ability.

Marss walked up to one such bag. An examiner was standing there with a small orb. Seeming to measure how strong he would be physically.

"You may begin now!"

Michael turned towards the brown bag. Jenkins had helped him mask most of his skills on the way inside, waiting for him near the last registration area.

'I should hide my strength as not to attract unwanted attention....'

He now smirked at the sack, making the examiner feel a little weird.

'That is what an idiot would say, I mean. Haha'

As the two object connected....

*BOOOOOOMMM

The examiner was thrown back, and several students looked in his way.

It was as if a set of explosive barrels had gone of, creating a large ten meter wide crater.

The examiner stood up, looking at his power measurer which had shone an [Error] message.

He was thoroughly beat. Only looking at the boy like he was a sort of demonic titan.

"Y...you can just go to the registration center..P..Please."

Michael inly nodded at the traumatised examiner. Walking towards the direction he pointed to.

As he walked away, several of the students took note of hid appearance. Makin sure as to not anger him in the future.

...

As Michael arrived at the place where he needed to register his familiars, he was greeted by Jenkins and his massive amount of luggage once more.

"Excellent timing! Here, I have already registered that goblin and the duck, so just take them to your dorm room."

He handed Michael a small card with a number on it alongside a bell shaped badge. The card was probably connected to his room, while the bell was asign that you were a student here. Every academy had different badges, our they would rather be considered as student id's, perfectly able to identify that you had passed the entrance exam and was fit to study.

"Anyways, if you need me, just call!"

He smiled while picking up his luggage along with some speed. Running back towards the carriage he had paid for.

'That guy....what a nut case."

Michael looked down at the little goblin and the duck egg, picking them up and heading to his room. While walking, he kept looking at the small bell, sending a strand of his beast senses into it out of curiosity.

However, as he reached it, something looking like a runic pattern was found inside.

'Oh? Interesting.'

...

The castle was very large and old, all the walls would remind him of Jenkin's dungeon. I mean, they were very similar interior wise!

After arriving in the more fancy part of the academy, he found the place.

Michael looked at a small door in a lenghty hallway, swiftly entered along with the familiars.

The room was not that bad. Looking like a place you would usually find at a fancy inn. There was a bed against the wall, and a table with some writing utensils. As for the rest, there was a locker and a small stand. It is where he threw of his robe and proceeded further inwards.

"Damn, this feels really weird."

He placed the duck egg incubator on the table. Letting the goblin crawl on top of the bed.

'Classes don't start before tomorrow.. Looks like I get to waste my time by looking at those evolutions I currently have."

He threw himself next to the small green creature. Laying there as it started to doze off.

"System, Show me all my current evolutions."

[Evolutions Displayed]

As the screen appeared once more, his eye's widened to an astounding degree, not sure anymore what was going on.

"I....OHH F****!! WHEN DID I GET THIS?!"
