Shouts sounded, and Li Chen could vaguely hear them.

“Oh no, they’re in danger,” Li Chen muttered to himself.

Then, he opened his backpack and searched it quickly. Finally, he found a pistol.

Li Chen held the torch high with the pistol that came out of his backpack in his hand. He continued to walk in the direction of the sound. Along the way, weeds grew everywhere. Li Chen walked very carefully. After walking for an unknown period of time, the sound became louder and louder.

Finally, he reached the place where the sound came from. Li Chen hid in the grass at the side. The sound came from a tree, but the leaves blocked Li Chen’s vision. He did not know who was on the tree.

At the base of the tree, a few wolves were already waiting to enjoy the food. One was already climbing up the tree in anticipation, but for now, they were safe on the tree. After all, wolves couldn’t climb trees.

Li Chen quickly stopped their conversation. Then, he brought Hua Long and Zhang Yang through the dense jungle and returned to the safe place that Li Chen had found.

When they saw that the people Li Chen brought back were actually Hua Long and Zhang Yang, Wang Qi and Zhao Yu looked at the two of them in surprise.

“It’s you?”

“So it’s you guys…”

Everyone gathered at this place again. Li Chen quickly added some firewood to the fire, and the fire burned even brighter.

Li Chen got everyone to sit around the fire. Everyone could finally sit down and have a good talk.
