Kael focused his attention on the guard with a radio handset, disregarding everything else.

He rushed towards the guard with all his might, easily reaching the guard before he could even see what came near him.

*Boom*

Kael was unfamiliar with the speed of his newly reconstructed body, so instead of stopping in front of the guard, he fell backward creating a small pit in the snow covered ground, when he tried to stop himself.

"At least I didn't crash into him" Kael muttered self mockingly, before continuing smilingly "Look I am not a monster so please keep everything that happened here a secret. Okay?"

His smile looked like an evil grin to the guard, who nodded his head without hesitation.

Kael heaved a sigh of relief but he soon started to panic when he looked at the translucent screen.

While he was contemplating about the quest, the guards where retreating, however, one of the guards retreated strangely, he was shifting his jacket towards Kael covertly from time to time while walking.

This peculiarity was very obvious to Kael who had heightened senses due to his new body.

"Stop," he commanded the peculiar walking guard "Strip"

The guard stood there dazed so Kael shouted again "I said strip"

The guard paused then looked towards his comrades who ignored him as if they didn't have anything to do with him, obviously, they had given up on him.

He slowly unzipped his jacket before taking it off.

What was revealed below his jacket was a body camera tucked into his shirt's pocket with its shining lens peeking out.

"You…" Kael shouted in anger but before he could finish his sentence a bullet hit him on his head causing his stagger while blurring his vision as well.

*Bang*

*Bang*

…..

Bullets started raining after the first bullets, as he was caught with surprise and he was unable to find cover, he became an open target and about 70% of the bullets managed to hit him.

The quest also changed.

"Aaahhhhh….."

Kael howled as anger started welling inside him, overshadowing his reason, while his eyes started turning red. When he saw a muscular guard coming towards him with a huge machete, along with the time remaining to finish the first part of the trial, he made his decision and that was to kill them all.

Kael lunged towards the muscular guard with a machete while shouting "Die."

*Crack*

The cracking sound came from the guard's body as Kael's punch went through his chest.

*Ding*

Without even looking at the dead guard and the change in the text in his quest window, he picked up the machete.

Kael swept his gaze at the group of guards like a predator eyeing his prey before he rushed towards the next guard.

The guard closest to Kael swallowed his saliva. His comrade's death shook him to the core rather greatly.

'How did he kill a trained professional in one hit?' This was the only question in his mind before he was decapitated by Kael with one swing from his machete.

"Run!" One of the guards shouted as he turned away to escape, but before he could gain some distance he was hacked in two by Kael, who appeared behind him like a ghost.

'Wher… where the hell did this monster come from?' was the only thought that came to his mind in his last breath.

Seeing that the monster had gone berserk, all the guards started running in a different direction, but Kael was faster than all of them combined.

"You son of a bitch!" a guard cursed as he ran with all his might.

The dagger stabbed straight through his neck.

"Keo-heok!"

He tried to cover the hole in his neck and collapsed to the floor.

Unable to utilize his immense strength completely, Kael used his body as a wrecking ball and machete as an ax, crashing and hacking guards one by one while the text in quest pain kept changing and sounds kept ringing in his head.

[9 Normal Human Souls Saved]

Kael glanced at the quest pane with his red eyes, there were many notifications of his killing 'Normal Humans' and system's saving their souls.

"So it really is similar to systems in online games but why can't I gain Exp? And what's with saving souls?" Kael was confused.

[It is Apostle's job to reap souls for their God and the God, in return, provides Exp to their Apostles through System which can be used for leveling up or for other purposes]

[If Apostle desire to gain Exp please pass the Trial of Acceptance and become an official Apostle of High Goddess of Death, Nebthet]

Unexpectedly, the system answered his queries.

Kael then looked around himself and searched all the dead bodies for cameras and other devices that may reveal him.

He found 2 body worn cameras, a GPS and one radio handset along with 4 and a half-eaten energy bar along with a thermos of hot water.

Just as he was about to start eating after destroying both the cameras, a familiar sound rang inside his head.
