Chapter 189 - Taking Advantage of Her

Chapter 189 Taking Advantage of Her

Realizing that Luke didn’t see what Aren did, Jocelyn secretly heaved a sigh of relief, but in the next moment, she quickly straightened her back.

The heat started to spread throughout her body from where the two of them touched, making Jocelyn look like a cooked prawn.

She touched Aren’s large hand on her waist and lifted up one of his fingers, wanting to take his hand away from her waist.

Although Aren had done a lot of intimate things to her, she was not completely used to being touched like that yet.

However, as soon as Jocelyn lifted up one of his fingers, her entire hand was wrapped around inside his large hand.

Aren thought Jocelyn was playing with his fingers intimately because she was bored.

The image of Jocelyn when she was weak and hopeless popped up in Aren’s mind.

She must have been terribly afraid that she was trying to distract herself by toying with something. Aren straightened quickly.

However, Aren did not want to play such a boring game with Jocelyn, but he was afraid that Jocelyn would be afraid, so he wrapped her hand in his.

The softness of Jocelyn’s small hand made Aren unable to resist pinching it, but the next moment he realized that what he was doing was equally childish and boring.

Aren’s face darkened, but he did not let go.

“If you’re bored, you can play with your phone,” Aren said.

Hearing Aren’s words, Jocelyn’s eyes fell on their hands, and she forced a smile.

One of her hands was tightly held by Aren, and the other was sandwiched between their bodies. How could she have the spare hand to play with her phone?

With nothing to do, Jocelyn looked at the scenery outside the car window, trying to distract herself from the embarrassing situation.

However, the road where the car was going was getting more and more remote, and the scenery in front of her was getting stranger and stranger. It was not the road to Stephen’s house at all, which made Jocelyn panic.

She didn’t know where Aren was taking her, and she couldn’t speak or move her hand. This made Jocelyn very anxious. She wanted to pull her hand away from Aren.

The moment Jocelyn moved, Aren’s arms tightened around her.

“The car is still driving. Don’t move. When we get home, I’ll let you go,” Aren said impatiently. He quickly straightened his arm and pulled closer to him.

At this moment, Jocelyn, who was almost suffocated by Aren, lost all of her hope of escaping. She found herself a comfortable position in his arms and stopped struggling.

Up until the car drove into the Brown family’s manor, Jocelyn remained quiet and did not move again. Like an obedient doll, she was hugged by Aren.

Although he didn’t want to disturb their sweet moment and was trying his best to stall for time, Luke still drove into the manor.

“Sir, we have arrived.”

At the sound of Luke’s voice, Jocelyn quickly raised her head from Aren’s shoulder. She bumped Aren with her shoulder and gestured for him to let go of her.

As soon as Aren let go of Jocelyn’s arm, she got out of the car without hesitation.

When her feet landed on the ground, Jocelyn could feel how stiff her body was. She kicked her legs after regaining freedom and stood there to relieve the numbness.

Aren, who was sitting in the car, looked at her empty arms and frowned in dissatisfaction. Then, his knife-like gaze landed on Luke, making him shudder, almost thinking that he had done something unforgivable.

“I’ll leave the person in the trunk to you. Just one thing. From now on, don’t let me see him in New York.”

What Aren said was equivalent to handing over Miles’s life to Luke.

“Thank you for your trust, sir. I will definitely take care of him.”

Aren opened the car door and got out. With the door shut, Luke started the car and drove it to the Brown family’s garage.
