Chapter 139 - Shed Blood

Noah's car pulled up outside of Ivy's family home. The lights were all on inside and he was now sure that the two parasites were inside. Lauren hadn't learnt her lesson and he had already let Ivy deal with her once. People didn't get second chances in Noah's opinion. The two inside had leeched off his lover for too long now. Yes, she could handle her own business but why should she when he was around to take out the trash.

Aiden had parked the car and stayed seated in the front waiting for Noah's instructions. He wasn't sure what would happen tonight but he knew that Cole and Lauren would face Noah's wrath.

Aiden glanced at the car behind that had just come to a stop and parked behind them. Teo and Thomas had requested to come along, they had felt the need to avenge Ivy too. Aiden realised what was once a very quiet, busy but boring life he had before but now was filled with liveliness, trips and family. He was happy for his boss.

Noah glanced up at Ivy's house, his fists clenched and he felt the need to shed blood. But with the two inside he would take his time or they would never learn their lesson. He couldn't dispose of them as he knew Ivy wouldn't be pleased with that as an end result.

She had once told him that death was an easy option to give some people and leaving them with less than nothing to their name was a far worse punishment in the end. She was right you had to take away the things that meant the most for people to truly suffer.

Noah fixed his suit and Aiden took that as his signal and got out of the driver's side and opened up Noah's door for him. Teo and Thomas stood waiting just outside Noah's car.

Noah glanced around into the empty, pitch black night that surrounded them before striding towards Ivy's family home. On reaching the double doors Noah spoke for the first time since they had left his penthouse, "Thomas." His harsh cold voice was startling in the quietness of the evening.

Thomas immediately knew what his boss wanted him to do. Thomas tried the door but it was locked. Thomas took a step back and with one swift kick, the double doors creaked and smashed open with wood chips flying to the floor. Inside they heard a scream and assumed it was Lauren and so they proceeded to enter the house.

Inside they saw Lauren scrambling to get up from the floor, she had stark red and purple marks on her neck. They stood out on her skin but none who entered felt remorse for her pathetic appearance in front of them no matter how much she may try to gain sympathy.

Lauren stood and fixed her appearance trying to look her best for Noah, she hoped he would come but she initially thought it would be Ivy that would confront her and Cole, and this was even better than she could have ever hoped for. She inwardly cursed Cole for roughing her up which messed up her hair and makeup and for not helping her to zip up her dress. Then she had an idea, she swayed her hips towards Noah before turning around," Could I ask for your assistance in zipping up my dress please Noah?"

Noah didn't even glance in her direction, his eyes had met Cole's when he had entered the house and he was still glaring at him. He had seen his disappointment, had he wished to see Ivy? Not a chance thought Noah, he smirked.

Lauren glanced back and thought she saw Noah smile in her direction, this was working out well she thought. She gave up and spun around but feigned that she had spun too fast and fell in the direction of where Noah stood.

Used to these situations over the years Thomas was prepared. Before he accompanied Ivy he had followed Noah and had kept any woman away that dared approach his boss, he had seen it all before and he took a step forward and gripped Lauren's arm, he spun her body and held her arm behind her back, he held on so tightly it was crushing her bones.

Lauren screamed out in anguish, she didn't think she would be gripped so harshly, the pain and pressure on her arm was immense, "Let me go, let me go!" She demanded.

Noah had taken a step to the side as she was falling, he too saw her actions and had known how to avoid her. He had Ivy and would never let another woman even touch his clothes never mind fall on him.

Cole had turned his body when he heard the crashing of the door, but when he saw Noah enter along with three other men with no sign of Ivy he knew his chance was gone. She wasn't here and she didn't care, if she sent Noah he was dead or as good as dead. The light dimmed in his eyes as hope left his heart.

Lauren continued to scream and Thomas had heard enough, he signalled to Teo. Teo noticed Thomas's signal, he took out some duct tape and covered her mouth. All they could hear now were her muffled screams.

Teo then produced rope and tied her hands together behind her back, once he had finished Thomas let her go and she fell to a heap on the floor. She had chosen to make herself the first target this evening and what happened to her were down to her own continued antagonistic actions towards Ivy. No man here felt sympathy for her.

Lauren looked around she was furious to be treated so harshly and unfairly it was all down to that b*tch Ivy she thought. She tried to free herself and the ropes tightened against her wrists causing her more pain and she cried out due to the pain. She glanced at Cole and then Noah for help but they were too preoccupied glaring at each other.
