Chapter 104 - Sister In Law

Noah saw her comparing her ring to the stars in the night sky smiled as he explained, "It's an extremely rare fifteen carat jewel and it is as exclusive as they come. The ring was the work of celebrity jewellery designer Lorraine Schwartz and it is approximately fifteen carats."

Ivy sat up and leaned on Noah's sculpted chest as she asked, "fifteen?"

She couldn't believe it. This dazzling engagement ring could easily cost around four million pounds.

Noah just laughed at her silly expression, wasn't it just money. He could always earn more, but he would only buy Ivy one engagement ring.

"Are you unhappy?" He raised his eyebrow and questioned.

"No, no. I love that you picked it." Ivy smiled up at Noah as she drew circles on his stomach muscles.

The light touches relaxed Noah and he instantly wanted to have her again after all it was their engagement night.

Noah pulled Ivy up and made her straddle him. He leaned in and whispered in her ear, "Ivy, ride me."

Ivy felt his warm breath tickle her sensitive spot on her neck and she shivered. His words caused a flurry of emotions within her. She felt his member throbbing at her entrance again. She impaled herself on his large member and began to bounce up and down.

Throughout the night they continued to celebrate their engagement like only they could.

The next morning Ivy woke up and stretched her tired muscles. She ached everywhere and she was glad she didn't have to go into the office today. The bed beside her was cold as she stretched. Remembering that she was in a glass windowed dome she pulled a sheet around her and disappeared into the bathroom.

Ivy got cleaned up and on a new swimming costume. It was a red two piece that would highlight her curves and small waist. She grabbed her robe and walked out again.

She hit the buttons on the panel just as Noah had and entered the pool. She swam a few laps in the warm water enjoying the relaxing morning swim and when she looked up she noticed Noah dressed in his three piece tailored suit as he stood talking to Aiden and Thomas.

She looked at the diamond engagement ring and smiled she felt content for once in her life.

Meanwhile, Aiden was reporting news from back in the City. Noah stood listening to the report while the cold winter air swirled around his powerful body.

Aiden finished his report and added, "Sir they have released a press statement that Governor Archer May has been replaced."

Now this news did intrigue Noah, he looked at his secretary.

Aiden coughed at Noah's stare, "The position was given to Anna Vaughn, now Governor Vaughn."

Noah was surprised for a moment, hearing that the older members of parliament would allow a female governor was shocking enough. Then to hear that it was an old acquaintance he was immediately interested in the news. This could go two ways he thought to himself.

Noah nodded and walked towards Ivy, he had watched her swim while Aiden had been reporting back. She had just got out and her pale skin and red suit stood out against the snow, it left an unforgettable sight for Noah.

Ivy turned as she put in her robe and saw Noah approach, "I'll just get a quick shower."

Noah then watched her disappear and he laughed, did she think he was going to eat her again he smirked. Then he turned to Aiden and Thomas, "Anna may be an issue, get Matteo to accompany you with Ivy Thomas. No mistakes. Aiden arrange a meeting with Anna and make sure it's discreet."

"Yes, boss." Thomas agreed and took out his phone to contact Matteo for him to be ready for their return.

"Yes sir." Aiden nodded.

After Ivy's shower, she changed into black skinny jeans a burgundy sweater and Doctor Martin boots. She left her hair down in a slight curl and then she applied minimal makeup and lastly je signature winged eyeliner and she was good to go.

She left the bathroom and saw the three men waiting for her in the living room. She smiled apologetically, "Sorry to make you wait on me."

"Congratulations Ivy?" Aiden smiled and congratulated her, as Ivy walked out.

"Hey, sis in law!" Thomas gave a playful wink at Ivy.

"Thanks, Aiden, Thomas doesn't call me that." Ivy walked towards Thomas and playfully slapped his arm. She presumed that they had all helped plan this engagement getaway as well as took part in getting the ring.

"I've got the bags, you head on out." Thomas then picked up the large suitcase and left the dome. Aiden smiled at Ivy and follows Thomas out.

It left just Ivy and Noah in the dome. Noah took Ivys coat and helped her to wear it before putting on his own coat. Taking her hand he strode out of the dome and into their waiting car.

After a long drive, they arrived at the airstrip and they were quickly inside Noah's private jet and ready to take off again. As the jet started to ascend Ivy gripped the seats as her nerves started.

Noah pulled her face to his and kissed her forehead, eyes, cheeks and finally her lips. Once in the air, Ivy saw Noah smirk at her before turning his head back to his laptop. She sighed and rolled her eyes.

This man was addictive and annoying she thought. Ivy took out her laptop and got down to business as well. She checked her emails from Nathan and then the stock market.

Noah eyed her while she was busy working. She was his strong, independent, fierce kitten and was one step closer to her now than before.

He had always wondered how long he would want her, but as time grew so did his feelings. These feelings were new to him and when he realised them he knew he had to keep her by his side for the rest of his life.
