Chapter 170 - Congratualtions

"Like it, I… I love it." Ivy then turned and hugged Noah with as much force as she could. She wanted him to feel her love and how thankful she was.

Noah smiled and wrapped his arms around Ivy, "So Ivy will you be my wife now and always?"

Ivy then leaned back and glanced up to her handsome soon to be husband, she couldn't get the words out as she struggled to stop herself from crying. So she nodded.

Noah smiled and traced his thumb over her lips as he said, "Im going to need an I do, at the altar at least."

Ivy laughed and nodded, holding her tears back. Noah then took her hand and guided her down a path that was laid with red rose flower petals.

Ivy started to take in every detail. The red roses were her favourite flower and he had remembered that. Noah had red rose petals laid on the ground that they walked on and it led the way to a red rose flower arch. At the arch, she saw her dad, Pierce and Jamie waiting for them.

She was hoping that her friends and her dad would be there, but as it was very short notice she didnt expects them to make it. She had hoped that her grandparents would be there but as they lived a few Cities over she resided her heart to the fact that the journey may have been too much for them. They had taken care of her ever since her mother passed and she wanted them to see her happy.

Ivy smiled at her dad and friends as she walked up the aisle with Noah, she was about to commit to Noah in the most beautiful place that she could with the people she loved surrounding her, nothing could make this day more special.

Her dad wore a navy suit, he was very stylish for an older gentleman with his now silver and black hair.

Jamie didnt quite get the fancy memo and wore a casual shirt and trouser combo. He was still stylish though as it was cobalt blue and matched his blonde hair and blue eyes perfectly.

Pierce was similarly dressed to Jamie, she wore a white shirt with a button open at the top and black trousers.

Ivy never cared for expensive brands and neither were her friends but Ivy noticed that they had smartened up for her wedding and that in itself made her happy.

"Thank you all for making it today," Noah said he did it all for Ivy. He would marry her in her pyjamas at City hall and she would still be beautiful and it would still be their special day.

"Of course, I wouldnt miss my daughter's wedding. Ivy, you look just like your mother." Her father praised her.

Ivy smiled she was getting along better with her dad now but they would never have the bond of a conventional father and daughter. "Thanks, dad." She replied, she then turned to Jamie and Pierce.

Pierce smiled at Ivy before he glanced at Noah and said, "You look amazing and so do you, Ivy."

Ivy laughed as Jamie had lightened the moment with humour, "Yes I am very lucky my hubby is very handsome."

Noah glanced at Ivy and smiled, others opinions never phased him but one word from her was enough to brighten his day.

Jamie then coughed and looked at Noah, "We are good to go."

Ivy was confused for a second before her journalist friend took out his equipment and on the screen in front of Ivy was her grandparents. She was close to tears once again with excitement, Noah had fulfilled every unsaid wish she had.

"Thank you," Ivy said before she turned her attention to her grandparents. "Grandpa, nanny I miss you guys."

"Ivy you are your mothers double, I am so overwhelmed with happiness that I was able to see this day." Ivy's nanny responded.

"Im so happy to see you both." Ivy replied, she then turned to Jamie and thanked him, "Thank you for setting this up."

Jamie put his hands up, "I take no credit, It was easy to set up. Noah flew me in and out of the city overnight." Jamie responded, nodding to Noah. He was afraid of the stoic Noah but the smiling Noah still intimidated him.

"Nanny, grandpa are you both doing okay?" Ivy asked, she felt a bit guilty that she hadnt seen them in so long.

"We are both good. Noah look after our girl, Im not too old to whip your ass." Ivy's grandpa responded.

Noah laughed and almost everyone turned around to witness the obscure sight.

"I will of course look after Ivy you have my word of that," Noah responded after he composed himself. Noah thought what he might say if it was his granddaughter getting married to a man like himself and that made him laugh.

Ivy turned as she saw Thomas, Aiden and Teo approach.

Aiden then stood at the archway and announced, "Shall we get you both married?"

"Are you marrying us?" Ivy was shocked and questioned Aiden.

Aiden pushed his glasses up the bridge of his nose and replied, "Yes, I hope you dont mind. I got ordained last night for today. Noah wanted to keep this as intimate as possible."

Ivy nodded she didnt mind and quite liked the idea that their friend was marrying them today. It made her more at ease that there were no outsiders intruding on their day.

Noah held her hand and led her up to the arch and he pulled her to stand in front of him. As they stood facing one another the others took their seats and Pierce fixed his equipment so Ivy's grandparents had the perfect view.

As Ivy stared into Noah's onyx eyes she felt her butterflies increase she had no idea that she could feel so many emotions all at once and yet feel so calm as soon as she gazed into his eyes. His eyes brought her home.

The ceremony got underway and Ivy kept her eyes on Noah's they gave her the comfort she needed. Then Aiden said, "It's time for your vows." And Ivy got nervous again, she had not memorized or prepared anything.

Noah smiled and answered, "I will go first. Ivy, I have loved you from the moment that I met you. I never knew a love could exist like this. You make me a better man, you give me your light and bring me out of the darkness. All I knew was the darkness then without warning you filled every part of it with warmth and love. I promise to love you always, be mine."

As Noah said his vows Ivy choked up, Noah expressing himself always made her emotional. It was rare and breathtaking. A tear rolled down her cheek as his words filled her heart with immense joy.

Noah used his thumb to rub her tear away from her cheek and said, "I will always choose you."

Those words meant the world to Ivy, she had never been put first. Her dad chose his work, her grandparents were busy working to give her a good home life. She put her friends first but no one had chosen her above everything until Noah.

Ivy collected her thoughts and said, "Noah, my husband you came into my life without warning. I didnt even get the chance to process it. I guess I woke up one morning and you were the first person that I thought of and thats when I knew I had lost my heart to you. I love you always and forever, you are my once in a lifetime love and I promise to always stay by your side through ups and downs, highs and lows, through all life's challenges as I also choose you."

The moment was sweet and Jamie couldn't help himself he leant against Thomas and started to cry. Thomas tried to push him off but the young chef clung to him like a koala on a tree.

Aiden gave the couple a moment before he said, "I may now pronounce you husband and wife. Boss, you may now kiss your bride."

Ivy smiled as Noah let go of her hands and held her waist as he kissed her lovingly with a gentle force. Ivy could hear cheering and she remembered where she was and pushed Noah's strong chest away.

Noah held back for Ivy, he never cared for others opinions. He had held back all day and wouldnt have longer to go before he could taste her.

"Congratulations boss, Ivy." Aiden then said as he grinned at the stunning couple he had just married.

"Thank you," Ivy said to Aiden. Ivy was pulled to Noah's side and they walked down the aisle to join Ivy's dad and their friends.

The day had started to get dark and the garden was soon lit up with fairy lights. Noah had arranged a candlelit dinner for them and their guests.. The day was beyond all Ivy's expectations.
