Chapter 935 Continue Our Co-operation

'If I follow Julie upstairs and find out that she really is having an affair with Zed, then I will definitely be hurt, but their relationship will not be affected by it at all, ' thought Jean.

After hesitating for a while, Jean said to herself, "Forget it..." With a sigh, she walked away calmly, hailed a cab and left the hotel.

Inside the hotel room, Zed was still lying on his bed in a daze. When he heard the knock on the door, he rubbed his eyes drowsily and turned to the other side of the bed, only to remember that he and Jean had been sleeping in separated rooms last night.

He yawned and got up slowly, wore his pajamas and dragged himself to the door. At first, he thought that it must be Jean, so he opened the door without any hesitation.

"Julie? Why are you here?" Zed asked in a panic when he saw her standing outside the door.

He was reluctant to meet her now and wanted to shut the door at once. Instinctively, he looked into the room to see if Jean was in this room.

"Don't worry, Zed. Your wife has already left." Julie swiftly reached out to stop Zed from closing the door. Meanwhile, she couldn't help but burst out laughing when she saw Zed's nervous expression.

Zed was still worried. He looked around the room cautiously. After confirming that Jean was not in the room, he finally breathed a sigh of relief. But even if she wasn't around, he still couldn't let Julie in.

"Wait for me in my office. I'll come as soon as I get dressed," Zed said promptly.

Julie raised her eyebrows at him. "What are you afraid of? Am I that scary?"

Zed shut the door without saying another word.

Julie walked towards his office with a sly smile on her face. She recalled Zed's frightened face. He looked funny, standing at the door in his white nightgown. Julie thought that Zed was truly a lovely man.

'Zed, I find you more and more interesting every day!' Julie thought to herself, laughing heartily. She quickened her pace towards his office.

Zed got dressed and went to his office in a few minutes. His hair was still a bit untidy, but he wasn't in the mood to care about all that. If Jean had seen Julie at the hotel, she was going to be mad at him.

So, he needed to ask Julie to leave the hotel as soon as possible.

When he entered the office, he saw that Julie had already made tea and was sitting

When her sister ran away from the wedding, Autumn was forced to marry Charles.

His name had been linked to innumerable ladies.

He had different girlfriends for every day of a year.

Autumn had never thought that she would fall in love with him.

ou?" Julie asked.

"Of course not. Go ahead."

"Great! All right, then. Carry on and finish the breakfast. I'll go back and do some planning regarding this." With that, Julie got up and left his office.

As she closed the door, a triumphant smile colored her face. 'Zed, you will never be able to escape my control, ' Julie thought.

At that same moment, Jean had arrived at the gym. James was busy interviewing the new employees. She originally wanted to talk to him and tell him that she had met Julie at the hotel that morning, but when she saw that he was busy with his work, she walked away silently. She started working out on the treadmill.

James finished interviewing the employees and walked up to the treadmill. He stared at her for a while and then observed with a deep sigh, "You've been running for over an hour. Take a break."

Jean jerked back to her senses. "Over an hour? Have I been running for that long?" she asked, shocked by her own stamina.

She pressed the 'Stop' button and the treadmill slowed down and gradually came to a halt. Her clothes were soaked in sweat.

"Yes. What's wrong? Did you fight with Zed again?" James asked in a soft voice.

James knew her all too well. He knew that a quarrel with Zed was the only thing that could make her so depressed. There seemed to be nothing else other than Zed that could drive Jean crazy.

She let out a sigh, then sat on the steps and took a sip of water. "Yeah. Our relationship has already been torn apart. Every time we lay eyes on each other, we always end up fighting."
