Chapter 932 I Won'st Be Home Tonight

Jean had decided that she wanted to have a career. So she went from place to place seeking employment. However, after hours of aimless searching, Jean found a bench seat and plonked herself down to have a rest.

It was all foreign to Jean. She was like a fish out of water, having to look for a job and the place where she was seeking a job was all unfamiliar to her. Jean felt like a complete outsider who didn't belong or fit in at all.

She looked around her surroundings and heaved a sigh. Then she pulled her cell phone out and sent James a message.

"It seems that I don't have the slightest interest in anything, and I don't know what I can do either."

Jean's phone rang as soon as she sent the message and

when she glanced at the screen she found that it was James.

"Where are you now?" James asked, feeling worried. He thought that Jean might feel dejected or down again.

"I'm just wandering the streets. Do you have any suggestions what a person like me, who can't do anything, should do? Do you think if I tried to get a job in a company, they would hire me?" Jean threw out a string of questions to James and sighed again.

"Of course they would. I'll hire you. The fitness base is going to open for business. Why don't you come and work for me?" James asked tentatively.

Jean froze for a moment and then asked, "Are you serious?"

"Absolutely. I'm more serious than ever. I need to recruit employees for the gym, and you're familiar with everything there. It would be ideal if you came to work at my gym. So what do you say? But I have to tell you in advance. The wage won't be very high because it will be just newly opened," James explained.

"Yes, I'd love to. It would be good to take my mind off the affair between Zed and Julie. Thank you, James," Jean said sincerely. She stood up from the bench with a bright smile on her face.

"No, it's me that should be saying thanks to you. How about we meet and hold a little cooperation celebration? I would like to discuss the details and affairs concerning the opening of the gym with you," James said.

"Why not?" Jean answered.

Shortly afterward, they both met at the appointed restaurant. Once they had sat down, they got straight to business. James still hadn't named the gym, so that was the first thing that they needed to do. Jean took out her mobil

blog account which is followed by many net friends. So a lot of people will choose to stay at J Hotel if I post some pictures of the hotel on my blog. And I'll post the pictures with recommendations as soon as I return to work in the hotel again," Julie explained.

Upon hearing what Julie had said, his frown had disappeared. "All right, you can keep enjoying your vacation. I know what to do now," Zed said.

As he hung up the phone, a slight smile appeared on his lips.

Zed would never have thought that a blog could be so influential. He opened his laptop and contacted several famous bloggers to promote his hotel.

Now that he knew that Julie's promotions worked, Zed was confident that the other bloggers would be able to do the same.

By the time Zed had handled these affairs, he was quite tired, and it was already dark outside. When he glanced at his watch, it was past nine in the evening.

He took his mobile phone out and called Jean again.

Beep...beep...beep.

Still, she refused to answer. Zed heaved a sigh and sent a message to her.

"Where are you?"

After he sent the message, he left the office.

As he entered his car, his stomach grumbled in protest, and Zed remembered then that he hadn't eaten any dinner. So he drove to a restaurant to get some food.

Once Zed had finished his meal, he drove straight home only to find that the house was empty.
