Chapter 667 If You Want To Die, Just Tell Me

"Goodness me! Jean! You also have so much better and amazing skin and complexion. Please, please, please, can you tell me what's the secret recipe you employ for getting such great skin?" Juan asked in his efforts to flatter Zed and Jean.

"You hypocrite!" Jean was disappointed on hearing such a hollow praise. She was sure that Juan only wanted to find out how she and Zed met. "To get what you want, you even end up saying something that you really don't mean. I can't believe that you are such a hypocrite! You know, now I am not so sure that letting Avery work at your company is such a good idea. She will be better off somewhere more honest. I don't trust you anymore now!" Jean said.

As he realized that his little trick had failed, Juan pleaded with a bitter smile on his face, "Jean, pleeeeeease! Tell me! How did you meet Zed? I will do anything for you if you tell that to me, Jean."

"Really? You promise that?" Jean looked at him and teased.

"I promise. Please just tell me, Jean," Juan assured and nodded his head fiercely.

"Juan, what is it with you that makes you want to pry into our private lives? You seem to care everything regarding Zed. Are you interested in 'the passion of the cut sleeve'?" Jean asked as she studied him with a doubtful look.

"What is this 'passion of the cut sleeve'? What are you talking about?" Juan looked at her blankly, as if he hadn't understood a word of what she was saying. Seeing that blank expression, Jean explained, "'Passion of the cut sleeve' refers to male homosexuality. It's from an ancient Chinese story. The story goes that the two male lovers were in bed one night and one of them fell asleep on the arm of his partner. The other one wanted to get up but didn't want to wake up his partner, so he cut off his sleeve and slipped away, letting his beloved sleep undisturbed. Am I clear? Are you secretly in love with Zed?" For Jean, the possibility of Juan being gay wasn't so far-fetched.

'It's highly possible. Zed treats him so badly, but he never seems to mind it at all. In fact, it looks like he draws pleasure from this insensitivity.

If he is not a gay, then he must be insane, ' Jean thought inwardly.

"I'm..." Finally, Juan understood what Jean meant. He had never thought that Jean would misunderstand him this way. He turned to look at Zed innocently for help but Zed was just watching him with a cool expression.

'Dammit man! Your wife has just insulted me

When her boyfriend betrayed her, all light and joy was gone from Cherry’s life. Deserted, bereft of hope, she married a man that she had barely met, but she had never expected him to be her ex-boyfriend’s uncle.

Cherry thought that she had finally found her happiness, but she had no idea about the dark secrets that were bound to unfold and haunt her forever...

not dare say it after Zed threatened him.

Thinking of this, Jean felt somehow disappointed. A while later, she changed her look into a smile and threatened, "How about you tell me what it is, Zed? If you don't tell me, I will let Juan tell me."

Hearing what Jean had said, Juan wore a big smile on his face. It was what he wanted. Now, Jean was filled with curiosity.

Zed felt upset about it. He screamed inwardly, 'Juan is such a jackass! He is always a trouble maker!

I kept giving him dirty looks on our way home.

And I wanted him to understand that he is not welcomed. I don't want to give him any chance to get in touch with Jean.

My intention was so clear, but he just kept ignoring it. I never thought he could be so shameless. How can a man be like that!

I've kept giving him clues that he is not welcome here. It seems that he doesn't care at all. I even threatened him not to make troubles here, still he didn't listen.

If I had known he was such a trouble maker beforehand, I wouldn't have saved him.'

"Zed, that's Jean's order! Tell me what's your choice now? Choose one! You tell her yourself, or you let me tell her!"

Juan looked at Zed and asked with a triumphant smile.

Zed stared at Juan fiercely with a look that could have killed him easily.

Unfortunately, Juan was still standing there, laughing at him.

Zed took a deep breath and tried to calm himself down. Then he turned to face Jean and said, "I'll tell you myself, honey. Let's go back to the room."

"Wait, wait! Since it is a secret, it's better and more interesting to let Juan tell me about your secret!" said Jean.
