Chapter 390 Rules Cannot Be Broken

'Wow, it is so ridiculous that Toby is willing to tell me such stupid lies to cover up for Zed. I have to give in to Zed for having such loyal employees.'

Jean wondered and rolled her eyes, looking at Toby and not bothering to hide her disdain.

Seeing the look on Jean's face, Toby's eyes widened and immediately read what she was thinking. "Mrs. Jean, what I just told you isn't a lie." With a bitter smile, he spoke once more, trying to convince Jean. "Believe or not, I am telling the truth."

Jean narrowed her eyes at Toby. She crossed her arms on her chest and said," How could you know such private information about Zed? It is impossible, you see. I don't even know about those things, so tell me again, can you still say that you are not lying?" She sneered at him, rolling her eyes once more.

Jean looked at him and without a word, she entered the house and walked straight to the living room. She sat on the sofa, taking comfort after a tiring walk, and said,"Toby, come. We're not done talking yet."

He quickly moved towards her and stood in front of her with respect.
