Wang Yuvin lovingly stared at Kiang Leilei's peaceful sleeping face for a while before carefully bending down to kiss her forehead. He really wanted to spend the rest of the night with her so he can watch her sleep and make sure she was safe from harm. Unfortunately, he needed to go back to the banquet hall before the party comes to an end. But of course, prior to that, he needed an update on Yang Kim and his lackeys.

Before he left Kiang Leilei alone, he left a note on top of the bedside table and gave her a quick peck on her lips. "I'll see you tomorrow, babe." He whispered softly into her ears.

With a heavy heart, he reluctantly opened the door and silently went out the room. He did not dare look back for he might really stay with Kiang Leilei this time and ditch Oriental Europa's masquerade party. He breathed a heavy sigh of resignation the moment he closed the door and walked towards the elevator.

However, instead of communicating with Hanzo and Rentao, he decided to visit the hotel receptionist first so he pressed the button for the lobby area. Just when the elevator gotten to its supposed destination, its doors refused to open. Making Wang Yuvin wonder. He then raised his head up and gazed at the CCTV installed on the ceiling of the lift, seemingly asking Hanzo what was going on.

'Ding!' The sound of the elevator doors opening made him turned his head away from the CCTV and towards the person who seemed to be blocking his path on purpose.

"Care to explain to explain what's the meaning of this?" Wang Yuvin asked, his voice low and sounded irritated.

"Please forgive this subordinate's insolence, young master Yuvin. But I cannot let you walk out from this elevator without putting your mask on." Rentao slightly lowered his head down as he stretched his arms out to hand over the long nose black venetian mask to Wang Yuvin.

The moment Wang Yuvin's sight landed on the mask, he quickly snatched it away from Rentao's hand and hid it carefully inside his coat.

"I appreciate the concern, Rentao. But I think that what you did was very daring. What if someone saw you giving the mask to me and he also saw me put it over my face? Would it not give my identity right away?" Wang Yuvin said, shaking his head.

"I-I deeply apologize. Please pardon this subordinate's inability to foresee the consequences of his action."

Wang Yuvin heaved a long sigh before he raised his right hand up to give Rentao a mild pat on his shoulder.

"I am sorry too. It's been a long day, isn't it? Everyone must be tired already. Anyway, I will go to the receptionist first. I need to give instructions to them before I can go back inside. Any update on the people who tried to assault Miss Kiang? And how's the party so far?" Wang Yuvin asked as he went past Rentao and directed himself out the elevator. He then stood for a while, waiting to hear Rentao's reply.

"But do not worry. We were able to calm him down. The security personnel found Miss Kiang's phone in front of room 10. He was about to give it to the general manager but Hanzo intercepted him. Hanzo then instructed the personnel to leave the phone inside the elevator so I can take it. Once I got hold of Miss Kiang's phone, I immediately sent a message to Chairman Kiang. Fortunately for us, he thought that it was really Miss Kiang who texted him." Rentao added as he put one hand inside his coat, seemingly taking out Kiang Leilei's phone out from hit coat's pocket.

However, before Rentao can completely pull out Kiang Leilei's phone out of his coat, Wang Yuvin immediately stopped him from doing so.

"I need you to do something for me Rentao. I left her sleeping alone in room 13 of the 19th floor. Can you ask some female staff to transfer her things to her current room? Also please do not let anyone know about her identity. And when she wakes up, inform me right away. I will head back to party now." Wang Yuvin said in a calm but firm voice.

"Yes, young master." Rentao replied, slightly lowering his head down before he turned away to do his task.

Wang Yuvin then walked towards the banquet hall to once again join the party. However, instead of wearing his long nose black venetian mask, he decided to use the mask provided by Oriental Europa. He did not want to be the center of attention anymore. He just wanted to stay in the background and gather information from their guests. After all, the documents Wang Reiji stole from Zhang Chenric talked about a group of nouveau riche individuals. The details were scarce, it was as if they wanted to stay hidden and away from the society's radar. However, this did not mean that they will avoid attending parties where rich and influential people gather. Still, they needed networks so they can stay on top of their game. 

Since confessing his feelings for Kiang Leilei, he just wanted to get over his past instantly. He wanted to immediately bring justice for his beloved parents and friends whose lives abruptly ended because of other's people's greed and ambition.
