"You probably don't want to reveal your identity within these walls. And I understand that. The Hideout may look harmless at the surface. But once you see what's in the bottom, you will discover that it is a very dangerous place." Kiang Leilei told Wang Yuvin her current thoughts.

"I am glad that you understood. I am impressed. You know what? You don't seem to be the brat the people in your office are gossiping about." Wang Yuvin smiled widely at Kiang Leilei, showing his perfect set of white teeth.

Kiang Leilei furrowed her brows, was he stalking her? How did he know that her grandfather's employees labeled her a brat? Actually not just a brat but a horrible person!

"I just overheard it that day. I guess they just don't know the real you." Wang Yuvin added when he noticed the confusion on Kiang Leilei's face.

"Ignorant people are quick to judge. They lack empathy and that's their sad reality. But I am glad you are not like them. You did not believe the rumors right away." Kiang Leilei's lips curved into a fine smile. That kind of smile that can blow a person away.

"I am not a gullible person hehe. But I am curious though as to why are you pretending to be a horrible person. Did something happen?" Wang Yuvin was taken aback by Kiang Leilei's picture perfect smile. However, he did not want her to feel uncomfortable so he just secretly admired her smile inside his head.

Noticing that her best smile had no effect or whatsoever to the guy she was trying hard to impress, Kiang Leilei's mood became sullen. She only nodded her head but did not utter a word.

Wang Yuvin decided not to ask a follow-up question anymore. Considering the look on Kiang Leilei's face, he thought that she was not yet ready to share to him the reason why she put up a facade and hid her real persona. But in reality, Kiang Leilei's mood changed because she thought her smile had no effect on him.

"I did not mean to ruin your mood. I should have not asked about it. Sorry." Wang Yuvin apologized as to lighten up the gloomy mood brought about by his curiosity.

"It's fine. I do not mind it at all."

"Are you sure about that? Will you still come over for lunch?"

"Of course. Who would not want free lunch?" Though disappointed that the guy did not take notice of her killer smile, she was still happy because he invited her over for lunch.

"Right. So, shall we go now?" Wang Yuvin asked as he stood up and extended a hand to Kiang Leilei.

Smitten by the prince charming vibe that Wang Yuvin emitted, Kiang Leilei stared at his palm for quite sometime before finally accepting the guy's hand. The moment her palm met with Wang Yuvin's, Kiang Leilei felt tiny thunderbolts electrifying her skin. Afraid that the feeling might become even weirder, Kiang Leilei quickly retracted her hand from the guy's grasp the moment she rose up from her seat.

"S-sure. Oh, wait. My phone is still in my father's possession. He confiscated it to prevent me from calling my grandfather to ask for help." Luckily, Kiang Leilei was able to find a decent excuse to take her hand back.

"I don't know if they are still upstairs, but do you want us to get your phone first?" Wang Yuvin asked as he escorted Kiang Leilei to the door.

"No need. That phone is already contaminated. I might as well buy a new one." Kiang Leilei quickly turned down Wang Yuvin's offer.

"Do you want us to drop by the nearest mall so you can buy yourself a new phone?" Wang Yuvin suggested as he held open the door for Kiang Leilei.

"I-I... I think that's too much already. I will just ask my grandfather's secretary to buy me a new phone. " Kiang Leilei replied as she stepped outside the room.

"Here, use my phone to contact your grandfather. But please do that when we are already inside my car." Wang Yuvin handed his phone to Kiang Leilei before he closed the door of his private room.

"Thank you." Kiang Leilei immediately turned around as to quickly hide her blushing face. At that very moment, she felt special. However, that moment was just short lived. She did not want to misinterpret the guy's gestures of kindness as something else. Especially that she was well aware that she was not pretty in his eyes. Meaning that his treatment to her will also be his treatment to other girls. Yes, that's what he was. A true gentleman.
