Then he look at the Doppelganger, as the later look back at him. After a brief moment of that stand off, both Shin and the Doppelganger suddenly disappeared from their current positions, and reappeared at the middle of those spots.

Shin is ducking forward as he pulled the [Yamato] out from its sheath, before swinging it leftwards.

But the Doppelganger use the force of impact instead and swing its other arm and sword at Shin in a diagonal manner.

Shin swiftly move his left leg forward as he do a quick clockwise spin, skillfully dodging that diagonal slash. At the same time, he throw a flaming horizontal cut at the Doppelganger's waist during the process of that spin.

The Doppelganger's body suddenly turned into an illusionary figure before dashing backwards and transforming into a stick of crimson light.

After failing to hit his mark, Shin immediately take a single step forward with his left foot before turning his body towards his right and throwing forward sword thrust at it.

Shin's sword was deflected by the Doppelganger's sword when he throw that sword thrust. After that, the Doppelganger swing the sword on its left hand, targeting Shin's back.

The Doppelganger's counter is perfectly timed to react, but Shin calmly responded at it. He is holding the sheath of his sword with his left hand in a reverse handgrip manner. Then he tightens his grip on the sword-sheath as he move his left arm backwards and positioning the sheath diagonally at his back, planning to block the incoming sword strike.

The sword strike was quite powerful so Shin have taken some damage, but that damage is quite minimal with his current HP.

He use the force the came from that sword strike to move slightly forward, before throwing a back kick at the abdomen of the Doppelganger.

The Doppelganger raise its left arm before holding the sword on its left hand in front of it in a horizontal manner, tying to block the incoming slash.

The Doppelganger took another backward step when it received the downward slash. Shin on the other hand continue is assault. He use the [Yamato] to throw a diagonal slash at the Doppelganger. Then it was followed by a horizontal cut and a vertical chop.

Then the Doppelganger use each of its sword to throw a three consecutive slashes of its own to counter Shin's sword strikes.'

Each of Shin's strikes is stronger than the other because of the 'Yin-Yang Tiwst' Combat Technique, and the Doppelganger already knew about it, so it didn't let Shin to acuminate more force for his next attacks.

The Doppelganger transformed into a stick of crimson light as it move backwards and putting up some distance away from Shin.

But how can Shin let the Doppelganger get away just like that? He transform into a stick of bluish-white light and charges forward, chasing after the later.

Then both of the swords of the Doppelganger suddenly release a threatening crimson glow.

Shin immediately pulled the [Piercing Thorn] from the Doppelganger's chest and jumped backwards to put some distance away from the Doppelganger.

Shin's cross shaped sword Qi was immediately destroyed by the crimson sword wave because the Doppelganger's stats is a lot higher than Shin. Then that crimson sword wave continue flying towards Shin but with a less power in it.

Shin formed a purple barrier around him to block the incoming sword wave while falling towards the ground.

The purple barrier around Shin show a lot of cracks on its surface when it was hit by the crimson sword wave, but it still managed to survive the attack. Then Shin successfully landed on the ground, four meters away from the Doppelganger.

After that, Shin immediately swing the [Yamato] rightwards, making for the purple barrier around him to be detonated and sending a circular sword wave that extends in all direction.

Shin's sword was successfully blocked but he didn't care about that. He swiftly raise his left foot and kick it forward at the Doppelganger's chest.

The Doppelganger failed to react at Shin's simple kick one again and stumble backwards and fall on its butt.

'I really like this new battle style from the system.' thought Shin to himself before releasing the 'Conviction Form' the 'Mondi's Style' and returning the [Piercing Thorn] into its sheath form.

Then he swiftly put the [Yamato] on its sheath before taking a sword drawing stance.

The Doppelganger is currently sitting on the ground so it can't block or dodge the incoming strike. All it can do is to activate its remaining defensive skill. A sword Qi enfold its body, protecting it from any harm.

Shin sneered at the Doppelganger and said. "Heh, Idi*t."

Then Shin jump forward before spinning in the air and throwing a powerful kick at the Doppelganger's head with his left leg.

The kick didn't deal any damage because of the five second damage immunity of the 'Swordsman Resolve' Skill, but that kick is enough to knock the Doppelganger on the ground.

Then Shin put some distance away from the Doppelganger to wait for the ten second duration of the 'Swordsman Resolve' to come to an end. Naturally, the Doppelganger will chase after Shin during this time. But the later is quite skilled at running and dodging.

And when the ten second duration was up, Shin finally start his counterattack. Shin skillfully dodge the Doppelganger sword strikes and hop backwards while secretly channeling the power of the Sun on his sheathed sword.

And when the Doppelganger chase after him, Shin quickly pulled the sword from its sheath and swing it at the Doppelganger.

When the Doppelganger saw that sword draw, it immediately cross its two swords to block the incoming sword strike.

Shin tried to use the 'Vanishing Steps' a few times to shake off the Doppelganger, but the later is always able to locked at his location.

Left with no choice, Shin is forced to face the berserk Doppelganger head-on. He transformed the sheath of his sword into a semitransparent longsword before holding it a forehand grip manner.

Then Shin suddenly felt that he have gotten some bonus strength that came from his sword. But he is unable to feel it clearly because of the Doppelganger is already upon him.

He immediately swing the [Snowstorm Edge] and [Yamato] left and right, deflecting the incoming sword strikes of the Doppelganger.

'Quasi-Epic Combat Technique: Parrying Stance'

Shin is able to hold his ground firmly from the sword strikes of the Doppelganger. But after some time, he is starting to get some damage as the difference on their stats are starting to show its gap.

Then Shin suddenly get an inspiration. He gritted his teeth as he swing his swords more. And every time his swords collides with his opponent's swords, he is trying to absorb some of force from the collision, before using it to supplement his attacks.

He is using the 'Yin-Yang Twist' Combat Technique together with the 'Parrying Stance' Combat Technique. And after some time of using those Combat Techniques together against his opponent's attacks, Shin is starting get a hold of it and manage to get the upper hand as he deal some more damage at the Doppelganger.

Then a System Notification sounded on Shin's ears, unfortunately he have no time to check what kind of notification is it.

Shin was sent flying backwards after getting hit by a very powerful sword strike cast by the Doppelganger.

Then he flip in the air to relieve some force from the impact of that attack. At the same time, he release the 'Meteor Form' of the 'Mondi's Style' and transform the [Snowstorm Edge] back to its sheath form, before Shin put the [Yamato] in it.

Shin crouch on the ground while holding the sheath of his sword with his left hand while placing his right hand at the hilt of the sword.
