Chapter 517 - CELESTINE, THE HOSTAGE

Tristan was sitting on a couch calmly like he wasn't facing the most notorious gang leader in the world. "What were you doing in the Madrigal's home yesterday?"

"You told me to find some information regarding them but I couldn't find anything related to them through hacking. They seemed fine with no bad record. So, I decided to pay them a visit. Mrs. Madrigal was once my classmate in college so I used it as an opportunity to get close to them."

"What did you guys talk?"

"I introduced them to my robot plus, we were catching up for the all time's sake. I was trying to feel the strength of their group since you mentioned that they were strong opponent. When I came to their house, there was just a small actress, a not-so-good programmer, two children, Mr. Madrigal was there, a young doctor, a chef, a housekeeper and a gardener plus few guards. There wasn't anyone who looked strong at all."

"Are you sure about that?" the burly man who had been standing behind Tristan spoke. "We heard that there were people from the military in their family."

"Army should be considered smart, right? When I was speaking to them, none of them looked so smart to me aside from the couple and the doctor. I did find that there was once a military officer who stayed with them but that person was now crippled. He lost his left leg and got dismissed. I even checked his military profile and sure enough, he was dismissed due to his physical disability."

"That's weird." The man spoke in low tone. "Before I asked you to look at them, I had other resources who told me different information."

"Are you saying that I am lying to you? Would I dare to when you got my sister in your hands?"

"Right. When I think about it, Tristan never failed us before. Maybe Travis Madrigal is just so good in hiding information." The bulky man behind Tristan spoke again. "I also heard that Madrigal likes to work alone. That might be the reason why no one knew if he had committed crimes in the past or not."

"I agree. I did all the best I can. I am planning to visit them again after a week or two so that I can check their security measure and see if there's any secret passages or not. I am going to do everything I can to free my sister."

"That's good to know. Anyway, I'll have Hibiki show you the way to see your sister today." The Dragon Gang leader spoke to Tristan.

Hibiki, the burly man who was standing behind him, gestured him to stand up and follow him. Tristan made sure to take note of the passages that they went through and the mechanics of the place to make sure that anyone who will come to rescue his sister won't be trapped.

He wasn't stupid enough to believe their words again. After what happened to his fiancée, he won't trust their words again. He will make sure to get his sister out of this prison as soon as he can.

Hibiki was silently walking ahead of him while he was busy looking around the place. "Is it necessary to send my sister in a place like this? Can't you at least put her in a decent room?"

"No, we can't. Until you accomplish your mission, we will not release her."

"Is there anyone who guards her here? What if she would need something?"

"I look after her. If she needs something, I always make sure to give it to her. As long as you don't fail the boss, nothing will happen to her."

"Thank you for looking out for her." Tristan stated with a smile but his eyes showed no emotion. He was angry and upset that he couldn't do anything to get his sister out of this hell yet. 'Just few days more and everything will end.' He chanted mentally just right before he arrived in a cell.

Although it was a prison and the hallway were kind of dark and creepy, the cell of his sister was big and clean. There was a small cabinet with several change of clothes. She's got an electric fan as well. Her bed was spacious and his sister didn't look like a prisoner. She was quietly reading a book on her bed.

"Celestine?"

The young woman stopped reading her book and raised her head. "Tristan! I am glad you are here! Are you taking me out now?"

"I haven't finished taking the mission yet. Don't worry, I'm doing my best to get you out of here. While waiting, make sure to behave properly, okay?"

"How our parents? Are they alright?"

"Hn. They're fine. They miss you so much. I'm sorry for dragging you along with this mess."

"That's fine bro. They didn't do anything to me here. Just go and do your thing."

The two of them talked with the metal bars in between them. Hibiki won't open the cell door so they've got no other choice but to speak with the bars blocking them.

Celestine was very afraid when she was taken in but, she was a little relieve that the people didn't really want to do her any harm. They just wanted her brother to do his job properly which was why she was taken by them. Nonetheless, she didn't like the idea of staying in there.

She hated it that Tristan was doing something he didn't want to do just because he wanted to save her. He will be committing crimes because of her. Tristan stared at his sister and mouthed 'Someone is coming to help us.' He reached his hand and held her sister's cold hands with his. "I'll do my best to get you out of here. Just trust me, okay?"

"Okay. I will trust you. I will wait for you to finish your mission." Celestine promised happily.

Tristan smiled and let go of her before leaving the place once again. He just wanted to familiarize himself with the lay out and at the same time, check if his sister was being treated properly. As soon as he left the house and arrived at his small apartment, he drew the lay out of the house including the traps and mechanisms.

"This is my last hope for my sister. Please make this work." He murmured to himself while creating the blueprint.
