Chapter 412 - FACING HANS

The last thing Jillyanna bought was a gift wrapper with different designs. She didn't want to buy the gift bags because she felt like she wasn't putting an effort to her gifts. Thus, she wanted to wrap the gifts herself.

It was almost four in the afternoon when she finally decided to go back to the hospital.

"We'll just place these bags here." Brown told Jillyanna and put down the bags at the side of the sofa bed.

Hawk and Travis did the same and placed everything in there.

"Do you want us to make a move against those people who were tailing us?" Hawk questioned them.

Before Travis could answer, Jillyanna beat him to it and spoke. "Don't do anything for now. However, Travis will cut off their source of information. "

"When will you do it?" Hawk inquired.

Dealing with this kind of matter, they need someone to look after Jillyanna since they would need to leave the hospital.

"I will call him out tonight. I guess Savannah and Riley will come to bring dinner, so they can stay with her while we are gone." Travis informed them. He already made arrangements concerning Hans and Top was all ready to help them.

After almost two hours of waiting, Savannah and Riley did come to bring food for their dinner. Travis informed them of what was about to happen and how they will put their plans into actions.

"It's not an issue for us. We can stay with her until you are all back, safe and sound." Riley was sitting on the couch at the window while listening to the instruction. "Will you leave someone to guard the place?"

"Hn. I will only take Hans and Top with me. The rest will stay here." Travis responded seriously. "If anything happens, let me know as soon as possible."

Jillyanna didn't express her opinion to them. She just listened to what everyone said while keeping in mind several possibilities that could happen while the three men were gone.

Savannah was also preparing herself for any possible attacks. After all, Jillyanna's whereabouts had been leaked several times. It would be impossible if their enemies didn't know her room number.

Travis and Jillyanna ate their dinner first before he set out. She wouldn't allow him to go with an empty stomach.

"Boss, are we going somewhere?" Top asked as if he didn't know what was going on. He, together with Hans, followed Travis will Brown and Hawk behind them.

"We will find someone." Travis simply answered and kept quiet after that.

Hans didn't notice that he was walking into a trap laid out by Travis. He was calmly following him at the same time, worried that he can't give information since he was surrounded by everyone.

Travis drove the car that Brown used earlier and they went to a suburb with few people around. There was a small house with just a single lamp that lit the place brightly.

Everyone went inside and found that the house had no furnitures in it aside from a single bed, table and three wooden chairs.

"Why are we here?" Top asked again.

Travis asked the two of them to sit on the bed. He sat on a wooden chair and faced the both of them. Hawk and Brown stood at the door to block the only escape route.

The house got only one window but it was covered with a thick curtain which prevents anyone from peeking. Outside the window were several number of metal bars to stop anyone from using the window as an escape route. The window was made of thick glass as well. This was owned by Travis and many people had been there. Most of them never make it out alive if he didn't want them to. Only those who got his permission to live can go out alive from that house.

Hans started to sweat on his back. He felt something was wrong and he didn't know what to do.

He cleared his throat before he spoke to his employer. "Boss, what are we doing here? Are you giving us some secret task?"

"I guess you know what we are doing here." Travis retorted while giving him a small envelope.

Inside the small brown envelope were several pictures of him meeting with Lyla in the night club. With the different set of clothes, it showed that they had been meeting with each other for a while.

Travis also pulled out her phone and let him listen to different recordings. As time went by, Hans was getting paler and paler. The cold sweats on his back were soaking his suit and his forehead was dotted with sweats as well. His heart was beating so fast and he didn't know what to say.

Travis didn't say anything to him. He was silently waiting for Hans to speak.

"Uh..boss..what about me? Why am I here?" Top asked once again, still pretentious of what was happening.

"Nothing. I just brought you here as bait." Travis responded.

Top made an 'oh!' sound and looked towards his colleague. He had known about Hans' betrayal and he wasn't shocked at all. He was just acting all this while.

Hans looked towards Travis and then to Brown and Hawk. He also gave Top a side glance before he let out a soft chuckle.

"So, you knew I've been meeting this girl. I assume you know what she's planning, too. You know why I am colluding with her as well. What do you want?" Hans calmly stated and put the pictures on the bed space beside him.

"I want you to leave this city. Go as far as you can, to a place were I wouldn't see your face or your shadow." Travis stated. "I don't want to take your life or beat you. My wife doesn't want that."

Hans laughed so hard like what he heard was some kind of a joke. "Letting me go? As if I'd believe that. How many people have you killed? Did anyone ever survive?"

"Whether you survive after leaving this place depends on you. As compensation to your betrayal, I won't pay you anything. That's all there is to it."

"Heh! Just because you want to settle things out doesn't mean it would end there. After all, I am not the only person who had been giving out your information." Hans mentioned.

Travis felt a sudden fear in the pit of his stomach, his eyes turned cold and he stood up immediately.

"Deal with him."
