Chapter 391 - SHOPPING FOR CHRISTMAS II

Travis found a Chinese restaurant and ordered a lot of food for the six of them, and he didn't forget to get a hotpot as requested by his wife.

"How many computer sets are you guys buying?" Brown asked them while waiting for the food.

"Ten? I guess?" Jillyanna turned to Travis since she wasn't sure if that was enough.

"Ten is fine. In any case, we have to restrain them from spending too much time with computers. It won't be good for them." Travis answered, holding her hand and kissing her knuckles while speaking. He would always seize this kind of chance whenever he was permitted to.

They could see his overflowing love for his wife and the same thing goes for Jillyanna. In the past, they would never imagine that these two people would end up together and would love each other this deeply.

Time shouldn't really be used to measure one's love.

Jillyanna chatted with Travis while the four people were secretly sending messages to their phones, in the group message that they created with the others. The only people excluded was the couple who were chatting happily in front of them.

Riley: "Let's buy the things needed at home. However, we cannot decorate the house until the wedding is over."

Brown: "Why not?"

Jackie: "Because there's a chance that they'd come home after the wedding. With my sister's current condition, most-likely, brother-in-law won't travel for their honeymoon."

Shein: "I agree. But since we get the chance to shop today, we will just buy everything that we need."

Valkyrie: "Alright. Send here the things needed."

Everyone thought of the things needed for the surprise they were planning for Jillyanna. They knew that she was thinking about so many things and would tend to forget herself.

Savannah: "I'll collate the list after an hour. I'll take a break for now."

Jillyanna looked at them and the to their phones. "You guys seemed busy. Don't think about anything for now. Let's eat and relax our brains."

"Hn." they answered in unison which made Jillyanna raised her eyebrow but she just kept quiet and didn't ask anything.

Few minutes later, their food arrived and the hotpot was all ready. Jillyanna picked up her chopsticks immediately. It had been quite a while since she last ate a hotpot and she was really excited for it.

"No spicy food for you." Travis popped her excitement bubbles while turning the hotpot over, facing her the original soup base.

"Just a little." Jillyanna plead while looking at the spicy food in front of her. "Very very very little."

Travis picked up his own chopsticks and picked a tiny spicy shrimp for her. "That's a little spicy shrimp."

Looking at the lonely shrimp on her plate, Jillyanna blinked her eyes and looked at her husband. "Do you want to sleep with me tonight?"

That was a rather difficult question. If he said Yes, Jillyanna would demand to eat the spicy food. If he said No, Jillyanna would flip in anger and wouldn't talk to him.

Travis was put in a difficult question. He turned to face his friends to help him persuade Jillyanna but, they all avoided his gaze and ate happily.

They would never make the decision when it comes to her food. They knew how capable Jillyanna was and it would be bad if they will become enemies just because of a spicy hotpot.

"Do you want to sleep with me or not? C'mon. You have to answer me cause I'm hungry." Jillyanna urged him while picking up a cola chicken wings.

"No."

Jillyanna was stupefied and her hand that was holding the chopsticks paused midair. She turned her head to Travis with her blinking eyes.

"Did I hear you correctly? You said no?"

"Yes."

Jillyanna smiled but it didn't reach her eyes. "Alright." She started eating the food which wasn't spicy and she didn't even share her favorite dumplings.

Looking at her sulking behavior, Travis picked up another spicy shrimp for her and placed it on her plate. However, Jillyanna didn't eat it at all. She only moved it to the side and continued eating the beef tripes she got and the soft tofu.

She didn't care about him at all. She continued to eat the food that she thought were fine. She didn't even notice that Savannah and Riley had stopped eating and were looking at her.

Savannah turned to Travis. "You are so dead." She mouthed silently before she started eating again.

Riley just chuckled upon seeing his defeated expression. It would be very difficult to coax her sister and she was looking forward as to how her brother-in-law would do it.

No matter how much food Travis placed on Jillyanna's plate, she didn't eat a single one of them. She even returned them on his plate.

'Oh god! What should I do now?' Travis thought helplessly. He didn't know it would turn out this way.

After an hour, they finally finished their lunch. Jackie helped Savannah in collating the materials and sent it directly to her.

"Let's go and buy the computers." Jillyanna stood up first and she realized that her stomach was rather heavy. 'Goodness! Did I just receive my karma from ignoring him?' she cursed mentally while supporting her back and her lower stomach.

Travis stood up and held her waist. "Are you okay?"

She swatted his hand away, not so rudely, but the displeasure in her face was obvious. "I'm fine." She left first, Savannah and Riley was walking beside her.

"Good luck in coaxing her." Brown whispered with a cheeky grin. It was clear that they were happy to see his schadenfreude.

Shein gave him a light pat on his right shoulder. "I've been there, done that. Riley is so difficult to coax and Jillyanna is twice or thrice the difficulty. But I know you'd be fine. She loves you after all."

Travis shrugged his shoulders helplessly. "Thanks for the encouragement. Let's go and get the computers."
