Chapter 386 - HE IS TAKEN

A policewoman came inside with a change of clothes that they borrowed from the neighboring house.

The owner of the house didn't know what was going on, since he was quite old and didn't have any idea with what these three men were doing inside that house that they were raiding.

The woman changed into the clothes that her handed to her with lifeless gaze. The policewoman had to roll the sleeves a little for her hands to come out since they were large clothes compared to her petite body.

She really looked pitiful.

Lucian was so angry with what he saw. Seeing the bruised woman, he remembered Jillyanna beaten black and blue few years ago. He remembered how close she was to her death, hanging on top of the building with many vehicles and crowd passing right below her dangling feet. It was a horrible sight. He almost broke up with Cielo because of that.

The policewoman escorted the victim to a different police car and gave her food and drinks.

The three men were still dazed with what happened to them, handcuffed and half-naked, they were brought to the police station in no time.

The only good thing that happened in this mess was that, the reporters didn't know who was handling the matter even though an article was posted. Therefore, the identity of the woman was kept to avoid any judgement from the public.

The case was rather large and the mass number of people wanted this to be held in public trial.

The judge and the police force didn't allow it though. Several women were involved and they were rather young, they didn't want to ruin their image in public.

"What are you watching?" Riley asked her manager when she came out of the changing room.

"Three men were arrested for different issues." She showed her phone to Riley which was currently displaying the faces of the three people who were very familiar to Riley. They were none other than Mr. Li, Lickon and JV, who were harassing her last night.

"What reward should I give him." Riley mumbled while watching the news. She knew who exactly ruined these men and he deserved a prize.

"We are talking about these criminals and yet you are thinking about a reward." Wynwyn spoke while taking her phone back. "Anyway, that's your schedule for today. Let me send you home so that you can take a rest."

"Can you send me to Venus Plaza instead?"

"Sigh. You missed him so soon?" Wynwyn asked but she was walking ahead of Riley towards their car. "You should be careful. Even if you are not famous yet, paparazzi will still follow you around."

"I dare them. They won't get anything useful anyway." Riley snickered with confidence. If something about her is making a headline, it was because she let it happen. If she won't, she highly doubt if anyone can escape Shein's godly skills in computer.

Shein made a last post using a dummy account which IP address was hidden behind several network codes and was placed somewhere overseas.

"If you are one of the victims, you can finally settle score with them. Comment your number below and we will help you. No matter what you type or how long your statement is, only a single letter will appear while your information is sent to the police department who is handling this case."

A woman, hiding inside her dark room, saw what happened and the post that Shein made. Taking the risk, she typed her phone number and entered it. Only a letter A appeared on a comment box under her anonymous name.

At the same time, David was watching over Lucian's computer and there appeared a small dialogue box with a phone number. He called it immediately and asked the most important questions to make sure that they'd get her to come and testify against the three criminals that they caught.

Soon, other women and even men who fell in their hands before, provided their information. On the post, you will only see several letter A's that people left in the comment box but in the Police's end, it contained many helpful information.

"It would be great if he could work for us." Lucian commented while watching his colleagues getting busy with phone calls. There were so many pop ups on her computer screen due to the number of victims and David couldn't handle them alone so he asked for help.

"Is this the same person who helped us with the city officials and Jackie's case?" Nik asked Lucian while he compiled every evidences according to the crime the men committed.

"Yes. He is the same person."

"Wow! It would really be great if he would work with us." Nik exclaimed but they knew that it was impossible. Shein didn't like working in a police station.

While the police station was thrown into chaos, Riley went to Venus Plaza and waited for Shein. She didn't go to the main VIP lounge but just waited for him at the reception. She didn't want to stay alone in that boring room.

"Should I call sir Shein for you?" the young female receptionist asked since Riley didn't show any sign of leaving.

"No need. He's coming already." Riley responded. "By the way, it's almost Christmas. Do you guys have a year-end party?"

"We always have..for the past years..but we are not sure this year. The young madam is sickly and our chairman is busy taking care of her. I personally think that he takes care of his wife instead of throwing parties."

"You are a great employee. Let me see your name." Riley checked the name tag of the receptionist and typed it on her phone. "I hope that your young madam will be alright soon so that you guys will have a party." Riley added even though she knew that they were talking about Jillyanna.

Soon after, Shein went out of the elevator with his bag. "Riri, why didn't you come up?"

"Tiring."

"There's an elevator, okay?"

"Still tiring." Riley mumbled while taking his hand and walked out of the building. "What do you want for a reward?"

Their voices were fading as they walked farther from the reception. However, they clearly saw it with their own eyes. The boss' secretary was already taken.

"To all the single ladies who likes our boss' secretary, just give up. His beautiful girlfriend came and picked him up." the receptionist posted on a group chat which composed of all women in the company. Jackie who was taking her break with the training read the post as well. After all, she worked in Venus Plaza for quite sometime.

A small smile escaped her lips as she sent a message to her twin sister. "You are making a headline in Venus Plaza HQ. Take care."

Riley read it and turned to Shein. "I think, I just made us a food for gossip."

"I don't mind. It's with you anyway." Shein responded as he drove the car out of the parking lot. His smile and twinkling eyes showed how happy he was.

He was happy to take his little revenge for his girlfriend. Being imprisoned was rather light compared to how they usually punish anyone who crossed them before. The three men should thankful that they were handled by the law or else, they would've been tortured to death by them.

"Thank you, Shein." Riley whispered. "Thank you for saving the other women and me."

"I just happen to save them when I executed my little revenge for you. No need to thank me."

"Oh..so you don't need a prize either."

"I want the prize. What would it be?"

"Me. Don't you want me."

Shein was surprised that she would answer that way. To his shock, he even stepped on the brake abruptly. Good thing there wasn't any care following behind them or it would have caused and accident.

"Not today. We'll have to go shopping tomorrow with our big sis and brother-in-law. Or would you rather stay in bed?"

"Let's have dinner. My question was just a joke. I still want to shop tomorrow so let's have dinner instead."

Even if she wanted to throw herself to her little wolf, she knew when to retreat for important matters, too. And shopping was a very important matter.
