Chapter 361 - SELL HER SHARE

Jillyanna woke up to the sound of papers being flipped open and she saw Travis reading something while cuddling her in his arms.

"Did I wake you up?" Travis asked as he put down the documents on the bed side drawer.

"Nope. I woke up on my own." Jillyanna answered him with a smile. "Still working even in our room? Didn't you go to the study room earlier?"

"I did but I missed my wife so I came back and found you sleeping."

"I got tired dealing with your former classmate so I fell asleep." Jillyanna didn't move in her place at all. Instead, he hugged him tight and kissed his chin. "I didn't want you to worry so I deal with it already. You've got so much on your plate already and I don't want to add to your worries." Jillyanna added knowing that Travis might've seen the news online.

"My dear wife, if I can't worry about you then who will? We promised that we'll deal with everything together, right?"

"Uh huh. That is why, you deal with the business and I will deal with the other problems." Jillyanna smiled cheerfully at him.

"I don't really know what to do with you." Travis murmured while kissing the top of her head. "You postponed your meeting with Atty. Lewis once again. When will you meet the old man?"

"I will be meeting with him and the board of directors tomorrow morning." she looked up at him with firm and resolute gaze. "I will sell my shares to you."

"Huh? Why?" Travis was really surprised with her words. That's her inheritance from her father and she was just going to sell it? Travis couldn't think of a reason why she would do that.

Jillyanna stayed silent for a while and left his side to sit on the bed in front of him. "I have decided on it. I can actually transfer all my shares to you but I want to earn a little extra to donate to the orphanage that my parents grew up. Selling it is just a front to transfer it to your name. You have to buy it. You SHOULD buy it."

"Why do you want to sell it to me? You can actually manage...wait...this...you don't mean to leave all these with me alone, right?"

Jillyanna bit her lower lip, shifting her gaze to avoid looking at him. "Let's be realistic here. I really wanted to manage my father's business but I have to take consideration of my health. Travis, you know that the operation is a 50-50 chance of survival. I can only prepare for the worst case. And since everything will be inherited by our child in the future anyway, why not just let you handle it. I know I can trust you when it comes to business and I'm pretty sure the company will do even better under your management. In that case if I won't surv-"

"Stop." Travis cut her off and took hold of her hands. "Stop talking about you not going to survive the operation. Jill, don't leave me please. I'm begging you. Please survive for me and for our baby."

Jillyanna suddenly felt guilty seeing him so devastated with just the thought of her being gone for good. She smiled at him and caressed his right cheek. "I will do my best. For you and for our baby. But you still have to buy my share. If I would really survive, I don't want to stress myself with business issues."

"Hn. I will buy it. How much will it cost?" Travis immediately agreed with her condition. Even if she didn't say it, he would want to manage the business for her but he didn't plan on buying her shares. Now that she insisted him to do so, then he might as well just do it for her.

"Let's talk to Atty. Lewis about that tomorrow." Jillyanna waved her hand in dismissal and changed the topic. "I'm hungry. Did anyone cook food already?"

"Hn. Savannah and Hawk are currently cooking our dinner."

"I see. I'll go out for a while." She didn't even wait for him ro response as she opened the door and left to find Winter.

When she opened her room, she didn't see her inside, not even inside the bathroom. She went out and closed the door behind her before going down to the kitchen.

"Savy, have you seen Winter?" Jillyanna asked Savannah who was washing some vegetables.

"She should be in Gabriel's room." Winter informed her making Jillyanna create an "Oh" sound.

"Alright. I won't disturb them, then. Do you need help here? Can I help?" Jillyanna leaned closer to what Hawk was making that smelled so good.

Her stomach grumbled which made Savannah and Hawk laughed at her. "Come over and sit here. I'll make you a sandwich." Savannah told her while getting a bread and some other things inside the refrigerator.

"Thanks Savy." Jillyanna sat on the bar stool and watched the the couple do their work in front of her. "By the way, this is just a random question. Since Calhoun didn't give you a mission, why don't you take this time to go home instead?"

Hmmm, I don't have a family anymore. Schniezel and his family brought me in. However, we are not allowed to come back until...we..we bring them. a good news." Savannah answered with a little hesitation at the end of her statement.

"Good news? Like? Getting married or have a baby?" She inquired in a surprise tone. She didn't expect it to be the case but Savannah nodded her head and she was blushing from head to toe.

Jillyanna smiled and looked at Savannah. "When you guys want to get married, let me know so I can help as well."

"We're still thinking about it." Savannah murmured sadly.

On the other hand, Hawk didn't really mind their conversation. He didn't butt in or expressed his opinion on this topic so Savannah felt a little dejected.

Jillyanna wanted to scold Hawk for disregarding this matter but she wasn't in the position to do so. However, she was indeed planning to talk to him to know if he was really serious about Savannah.

If she finds out that he was just playing with her, she will really beat him to death.
