Chapter 351 - MILK TEA

Jillyanna ate in the office with Travis before he left to talk to Zachary. However, it's been more than an hour and he had not come back or even sent someone to check on her.

Bored from being alone, she opened her phone and played for a while. After how many times she died in the game, there was still no Travis who came to see her.

"Did he really just leave me alone here?!" Jillyanna questioned in disbelief. "He didn't even check on me?! What if I died here?! Who will come to rescue me?! That idiot."

Little did she know was that Travis was currently in the monitoring room and was just watching her while he waited for the time to pass.

"Are you really letting her wait there? Look at her talking to herself." Zachary motioned his hand to the monitor. "She's probably cursing you already."

"Yup. She is cursing me." Travis admitted since he can read through the movement of her lips.

"How brave of you." Zach commented with a helpless shake of his head. "I think you can bring her out now. Just think of other excuses or I'm afraid she'd beat you black and blue."

"I know. Anyway, I'll leave Wynwyn and Riley in your care. Make sure to bring them home on time." Travis reminded him before he left the monitoring room and went back to his office.

Jillyanna was currently lying on the couch and she didn't even look at him when he came inside.

"Let's go somewhere before heading home first." Travis spoke to her but Jillyanna didn't move at all. "Jill?"

"I'm tired."

"Oh..I was planning to buy you some sweets since I took sometime to come back."

"So you know you were taking sometime out there. You could've at least messaged me." Jillyanna said angrily while she put her phone inside her bag and gave it to her.

"I'm sorry." Travis responded softly. He needed to look sincere or his wife will never forgive him.

"Fine. Fine. Let's go." Jillyanna walked out of the door ahead of him which made her unable to see the spreading smile on his face.

Many people greeted them and Jillyanna just smiled politely as they walked back to the car.

"What do you want?" Travis asked her as they walk hand in hand on the street.

"Let's find a milk tea shop. I want to have a macha cheesecake."

"That's all?"

"Hn."

Travis nodded his head and opened the car door for her before he walked to the driver's seat. "Search for a shop nearby. I'll drive us there."

She did as she was told and looked for a milk tea shop. Not far from where they were, a famous milk tea shop was located with so many choices to pick.

It only took Travis fifteen minutes to reach the place and there was still a long time before evening came.

"There's a lot of people here. There's even a long line." Travis commented but deep inside he was hoping that Jillyanna would insist to buy the milk tea in that shop.

And his prayer was answered. "Since there's a long line, that means this shop is really good. I can wait."

"Alright. I'll find a parking space and you just wait here in the car while I buy the milk tea for you."

"Yay! I love you hubby." she even gave him a flirty wink and a flying kiss making Travis laugh at her.

He looked at his watch and took his phone with him in case she would want something else. Travis fell in line and many people looked at him in shock.

Most of the people who were buying the milk tea were employees of J Entertainment and they know Travis. Even those that weren't from J Entertainment knew him too.

"Sir Travis, would you like to buy first?" one of the people lining up asked Travis but he refused the offer politely.

"My wife isn't replying yet so I'm willing to wait in line."

The young man nodded his head and waited silently while women from different walks of life began to crowd the place.

When it was his turn, the clock just barely passed four o'clock which was enough time for him.

"What would you like sir?" the sales attendant asked Travis politely.

"I'd like to have a macha cheesecake, a taro cream cheese no pearl and a winter melon with pearl. All three in large size." Travis gave his order even though Jillyanna only wanted the macha.

When he got his orders, it was still quarter an hour after four o-clock. Travis opened the taro cream cheese and drank from it. From the torn cover, Travis put something and went back to the car.

"You bought a lot." Jillyanna said while looking at the plastic bag.

"I thought you might want to try the other flavors. I tried the taro cream cheese and it's fine."

"Really? Can I have some?"

Travis didn't hesitate and gave her the taro that he just drank earlier. Jillyanna was really clueless to what was awaiting for her at all.

"Yeah. It's good. You really know what to choose." She gave him back the milk tea and took the macha from the plastic and inserted the straw in it. "This is the best. I really like it." Jillyanna sipped through the straw and chewed on the pearl.

"Let's go home now." Travis told her and drove out of the parking lot. He didn't drink from the taro again and continued to driver. "I was thinking of going out for dinner to make up for the ruined date last night. Do you have any cravings?"

Jillyanna sipped again before answering him. "Anything's fine. I don't really mind." She was about to take another sip when she felt her eyelids were getting heavier. "R..V.."

"Yes?" Travis continued to drive without looking at her. Whe he turned around to face her, the macha milk tea fell on the floor and her head was hanging low. "Jill?" He called to her but there was no answer. Travis slowed down and parked the car on the roadside to check on her.
