Chapter 345 - RUINED DATE II

Jillyanna wiped her tears and glared at him. "I really hate you this time."

"I'm really sorry. I know--"

"Hey RV! It's really you." A woman in silver tube dress walked towards them. "I was wondering who was the man dumping a woman again. Still cold as ever, you have never changed."

She walked so casually that made Jillyanna raised her brow. "Have you asked a doctor to check your ears? Where and when did he dump me?" Jillyanna asked defiantly, her eyes clearly looking down on her since she was few inches taller. "Watch your words."

"Oh? You're rather stubborn, aren't you? If a man dump you, you should stay away and know your place. I'm Lyla, his college classmate." The woman talked back to Jillyanna which added to her annoyance.

Many people gathered around to watch over them who's making a racket in the middle of the street.

When the woman tried to reach for Travis' hands, Jillyanna reacted immediately and pulled him towards her.

"You loose woman! Be careful where you lay your hands. If it's not yours, keep your hands away!" Jillyanna scolded her bluntly which made everyone gasped and whispered. "Just because a couple gets into argument doesn't mean a man needs a mistress. And I'm telling you, if I see your face again, I'll make sure you won't see the sun in the next morning."

"What a brave mistress!"

"Women like her are really disgusting."

"She even dare to lecture someone." Many had the same idea about Lyla. You couldn't blame them though. She walked like a slut and talk like a bitch.

The woman took a step back upon seeing Jillyanna's threatening manner. "Hey Travis, looks like you found a rather aggressive woman." She still made a comment even after what Jillyanna said.

Travis chuckled and put his hands around Jillyanna's waist. "She has the right to be aggressive towards women like you. She's my wife after all. And my wife doesn't let anyone touch what belongs to her."

The woman stomped on her feet and left the place, pale and angry after the embarrassment she received.

"Who the hell was that?! Are you really making me angry now?!" Jillyanna turned towards him and throw a strong punch on his stomach.

Travis just groaned and leaned on her for support. Even if she will beat him black and blue, he won't resist after what he did to ruin their date. "I'm really sorry."

"Stop saying sorry!"

"But you haven't forgiven me yet." Travis mumbled on her shoulder.

"Fine. I forgive you but you better explain who that woman is."

When the pain was gone, Travis stood up straight and kissed her forehead. "Let's find a place to sit first."

When they left, people started to disperse as well.

Jillyanna and Travis walked around like no one bothered them earlier. She finally calmed herself and walked along side him silently.

"Lyla was a college classmate. She didn't finish her course though. She once like me but I dump her. I dumped everyone who expressed their so-called love. That's it. I don't what happened to her after she stopped going to school."

Jillyanna raised her eyebrow and looked at him. "That's all?"

"Hn. That's all. I didn't really know anything about her."

The city was still lively and many people passed by them. Some were merely going out, some were going to work and some were on their way home.

"Don't you dare let anyone touch you. Your friends don't even do that." Jillyanna warned him which made him smile.

"I promise I won't let that happen."

"And wipe that smile off your face. I am still unhappy after you ruined the date I planned."

Travis sighed since he knew he was wrong this time. "Would you like to see another movie? Let me make it up to you."

"No need. I'm tired already."

"Then let's find a hotel." came Travis' quick answer which earned him another glare from Jillyanna. "My dear wife, we've been strolling in this place for quite sometime. Do you think it's still early? It's almost 11 o'clock in the evening. I'm a bit sleepy too."

Jillyanna knew it's dangerous to drive in his state and he would never allow her to drive so she reluctantly agreed in looking for a hotel.

Travis knew exactly where to find one so she didn't worry at all. He led her to the reception of Clover Hotel where they found the lady who was chasing the snatcher earlier.

"Oh it's you. How are you?" Jillyanna greeted the pretty receptionist who seemed shy.

"I'm fine. Thank you again for helping me get my bag earlier. Are you staying here tonight?" the lady asked Jillyanna.

"Do you still have an available room?"

"Yes we do." she immediately showed Jillyanna the types of room they got.

"Just get us the biggest single room." Travis interrupted them to make it easier. Jillyanna handed his credit card while she fill in the information.

After making settling everything, Jillyanna received the access card and left with Travis.

"So you really did get in trouble earlier." A man suddenly appeared behind the two receptionists which really startled them.

"I'm really sorry Manager Dan. I will make sure to come on time during my next shifts." Cayenne apologized softly.

"Sir, can't you let this go for once? It's Cayenne's first day of work after all." the other receptionist came to rescue her new co-worker.

The manager was about to agree when Stefan arrived with his secretary. "Agreeing to work in this hour and city, you should be aware of the danger. It's not our fault that you are not being careful."

Cayenne just lowered her head and stayed silent. It was indeed her fault so she didn't say anything at all.

Stefan just looked at her and left. It was none of his concern. In his mind, one should be responsible for their life when they're outside work. He's only responsible for them during working hours.
