Chapter 218 - CLEANING HIS EMPIRE II

When Thomas left, Jillyanna and Savannah ate their lunch that Auntie Fei brought earlier. It was her main task now to bring her meals wherever Jillyanna was.

"Will you respond to the news about the accident?" Savannah asked her as they continued to eat.

"I will leave that to Wynwyn. She's better in that field. She'll be visiting the hospital later to talk about it." She forced herself to eat even though she didn't have an appetite. She didn't want anyone to worry about her knowing that they were still worried about Travis.

Savannah nodded her head in agreement. "Shall I send the other files to Lucian as well?"

"Hn. I intend to clean this place from top to bottom. Those who worked under the influence of the three shareholders who left must be fired immediately. I don't want to wait for their retaliation. As early as now, I'll cut off all their malicious tentacles." Jillyanna stated coldly as she gripped on her chopsticks tightly. 'I'll make sure everyone pays what they owe.' she added mentally before she started eating again.

Savannah didn't say another word. All she can do was to support Jillyanna and make sure that she and the baby were safe.

Diego, Zachary and Wynwyn on the other hand were stunned from the news. They were currently taking their lunch at J Entertainment when Diego's secretary came running towards them.

"This girl..I don't know what to say. She is not afraid of these people at all." Diego commented while watching the news on the tablet that his assistant gave him.

It showed that three shareholders of the Venus Plaza were arrested for embezzlement, bribery, selling of company properties, abusing their secretaries, marital affairs and other cases. It wasn't mentioned who sent the information to the police but to them, it was clear as day as to who sent it.

"I hope she's not pushing herself too much." Wynwyn commented while watching the news on her phone. "I didn't know she knew how to manage a business though."

"You didn't know? The Summer cafe that you always visit when you have a free time is owned by Jillyanna." Diego informed her nonchalantly like it wasn't a big deal at all. "She owned four branches already. They just opened a new one last month. Due to her pregnancy and things with Travis, Cielo was the one who attend the opening ceremony."

"You are not kidding me are you?" Wynwyn asked her in disbelief. She thought that Jillyanna was just an ordinary singer.

"I am not. Her wealth wasn't just from her business and singing career. She has millions of money from her mother. We don't know about her father yet. We can't get any information about him. And there's a research of her mother that many people want to get their hands on." Diego let them know a little bit of Jillyanna's wealth. He, himself, wasn't sure just how much Jillyanna has. She was a still a mystery to him and only Travis knew her real status.

"Why do you know so much about her?" Zachary asked after listening for a long time.

"Travis asked me to investigate her before when she ran away. Haha. That day was the first time I saw him panic. That was very refreshing in my eyes." Diego laughed out loud, remembering that day made him laugh so hard.

"Well, let's continue to eat and finish our business so that we can leave early today." Wynwyn uttered before putting her phone down and continued eating.

After lunch, Jillyanna went back to the meeting room to continue her business agenda. Her expression was cold as always and they never saw her smile even when they talked about funny things. She was like a machine in front of them.

The whole afternoon was spent on their meeting while people outside the office were a mess. Many police officers came and their HR department, Finance Department, Marketing Department and all other departments were investigated.

"Madam, there are police officers downstairs. They are investigating all the departments." one of the employees from HR came to inform Jillyanna who was still in the middle of the meeting.

Jillyanna just raised her eyebrow and waved her hand to dismiss it. "Let them be. I called for them."

The employee paled and the room turned to a deathly silence. They all looked at Jillyanna like a horrible monster. She didn't just cover anyone but she was willing to send them all to jail.

"Is she crazy?! How can she do this?" Mrs. Ching the highest shareholder among the three women whispered. "If this continue, we will lost our reputation."

"No, you are wrong." Mr. Suarez interrupted the woman. "She's doing this to clean up the place. After what happened to Travis, she couldn't trust anyone. I am pretty sure we all know who caused the accident. It was someone who worked in this place. She just can't anyone like him continue to work."

"But these people have family!" Mr. Sony argued back for the sake of the employees.

Jillyanna glanced at him with a fiery gaze that could burn anyone if a flame came out from it. "Travis has a family, too. Did they think about us when they tried to run over me and my child? Did they think about what will happen to this company? Not only will the innocent be implicated but everything that has connection to this company will be ruined! Did you think about that? So don't speak about family to me! Say another word and I'll make sure you'll come along with them."

Her anger silenced everyone inside the room. The employee who came to report trembled and slumped on the floor. He was one of the people who got bribed and he was sure that he'll be sent to jail.

"We are all dead. I shouldn't have done it in the first place." he whispered to himself in his weak voice. He felt so regretful but he couldn't do anything because the evidence will be found out soon.
