Jillyanna stood up straight fixed her clothes, smiled at the employees before facing the new comer.

The man looked older perhaps the same age as Thomas. He's got a stern look on his face and he looked at Jillyanna up and down as if assessing her.

Her forehead throbbed and her hand was itching for a fight. It was the look that she hated the most.

With her chin up and confidence, she stared back at the man. "I don't mean to be rude to an elder like you but, staring at me like that is also rude. Don't think because you're older than me that you can just look at me mockingly."

"Oh feisty!" he laughed sarcastically at her as if she was nothing but a joke. He turned to everyone with his cold eyes. "Is this the woman who will stay beside our President to lead us?"

"As if I want a subordinate like you." Jillyanna retorted back at him. She will never let anyone look down on her.

"Choosing the woman I want to spend my life with has nothing to do with you." Travis commented with his cold and chilling voice. "Are you disappointed that you can't win against your daughter? Don't vent your anger on my wife."

"Is this Cheska's stepfather?" Jillyanna asked Travis when realization hits her. "I wonder how suffocated that girl was to have a father like you."

"Don't you dare judge me!" the man yelled at her in anger.

"I can say the same thing to you. Don't judge me!" Jillyanna said coldly. "Don't mess with me." She turned to Travis and scolded him. "Why are you letting in some flies in your company?! It's annoying."

Travis couldn't help but praise her in his heart. She's brave and didn't cower at all. She's honest and confident, too.

"Sorry." Travis could only say that. He didn't want to expose his plan in front of everyone. Disposing his enemies will just be a matter of time. If it was before, he won't bother himself in dealing them. But now, he's got so many people to protect.

Loving her means loving everyone that she loves. All the important people and all the important things. He needed to protect those that she cares about.

Mr. Sandoval felt even more angry that he was being ignored. No one stand on his side and he felt embarrassed. Without a word, he left the place and went home.

"Such a mood spoiler! I don't want a tour anymore!" Jillyanna turned around and went back inside his office room. Travis could only shrug his shoulders and follow her inside.

Whispers of admiration buzzed inside the floor. They couldn't believe that she'd become fierce and exude a domineering aura in just a few seconds.

"She's not just a nobody or just a plain Internet idol. She's a woman born from an aristocratic family."

"I believe so. In just a few seconds, she was like a different person."

"That old man! I'm pretty sure he's angry because his daughter came out and honestly announced her relationship publicly."

"I second that."

"Now, our lady boss is upset."

"Sir Travis can coax her for sure."

"Yeah."

They all talked about what happened while they continued to work. The only person who's uneasy was the secretary.

She didn't know what else to do. She already finished her task but was told not to disturb them. She could only sigh to herself.

Looking around to the other employees, she decided to help them so that they can finish their task as soon as possible.

Jillyanna was still sulking inside his office and wanted to find a way to vent her anger. She really hated it when someone looks down on her.

Travis had changed the window setting already and it had become tainted. They can see the people outside but the people outside can't see them.

He hold her up on her waist and let her sat on his lap still hugging her. "Are you still upset?"

"Hn." she answered honestly.

"I'll make sure to deal with them in a month."

"Okay."

Even though it was him who was talking to her, he could still feel the coldness from her voice. "Don't be angry. It's not good for our baby."

Jillyanna threw him a side glance before shifting her gaze away. When she could no longer hold her anger, she leaned closer at him and bit his shoulder.

He could only endure the pain and let her do it. After few seconds, she stopped biting his shoulder and stared at him.

"I'm sorry. I really need to vent my anger. I am not allowed to keep it in." she told him honestly while holding his face with both her hand. "Sorry." she kissed his lips quickly and hugged his neck, leaning her head on his shoulder.

Travis sighed and rubbed her back to comfort her. "It's fine. I'm fine. Don't be angry anymore."

"Hn."

After a while, she moved away from him and walked out. "Just wait here." Everyone looked at her in surprise because she was like acting like a child who did something wrong. "Uhh. Do you guys have an ice here?"

"Ice?" they asked her again to see if they heard her right.

"Yes. Ice and if possible, a cold compress pack."

The secretary who heard her came up to her side. "Come this way young madam." She's got the feeling why she needed a cold compress but she didn't ask.

Jillyanna followed her into a mini kitchen. It was neat and complete with appliances. She opened the freezer and found some ice cubes. She received the compress pack and put the ice inside. She brought it back to Travis and helped him.

"Turn off the AC for a while so you won't get cold. Strip off your shirt so you can press this on the bite."

"You won't help me?" Travis asked with a pained look to make her feel guilty and it was successful.

Jillyanna unbuttoned his shirt and pressed the cold compress gently. Every time he flinched, her facial expression would change and she was already about to cry.

Travis hugged her waist again and leaned his head on her shoulder. "Don't worry about me. It doesn't hurt at all."

Jillyanna knew he was lying. She knew he only said those words to comfort her. A tear fell on her face and dropped on Travis' arm.
