Chapter 117 - HER PAINFUL THOUGHTS

Travis moved closer to her but Jillyanna didn't want to face him right now. With the issues going on, with her vague relationship to him, with all the embarrassing incidents, she felt so horrible and ridiculous right now.

"Hey Jill! What's wrong?" Travis asked her worriedly.

"Nothing. I am just not in the mood for your jokes right now." she replied to him, clutching the phones tightly in her hand.

"I am not joking with you. What can I do for you to believe me?" Travis was also feeling helpless. He thought they had settled this matter already but it looked like she was still insecure over some matters.

Jillyanna didn't speak and cried silently. What they have right now scared her the most. She didn't want to get used to his presence at all. She didn't want to be dependent on him. She didn't want to rely on him.

However, everything changed in just a few days and that scared her so much.

"Travis, I think it's really wrong that we're together." she spoke softly, trying not to sniff else he'd find out that's she's crying.

"Don't joke with me Jill! What's really bothering you? We promised not to keep any secrets, right? Why are you changing your mind again? What have I done?"

Hearing these series of questions, she felt guiltier than ever. Maybe he didn't do anything wrong. Maybe, she's the problem, the burden of this relationship.

Travis pulled her back and hugged her tightly. "Jill, don't go please."

"Shouldn't I be the one saying that?" she whispered in his chest. "I have a record of people leaving my side and you are one of them. My father left me. You left me. My mother left me. Auntie Venus left me. And you can do the same thing again." her tears flowed freely since she could no longer hide her pain.

Travis felt so angry with his past self. He never thought he'd cause so much pain in her. "I'm sorry."

"Say Travis, what will I do? What will I do if I get used to your presence and you suddenly leave? What will I do if you keep showing me your kindness and you'll find someone else better than me? What will I do if everything turns out to be just a game? Didn't you play my feelings before? You once told me that you won't fall in love with me. So what's the difference now? It's impossible for someone to love the person they hated the most."

Travis choked on his tears. He didn't know what to say at all. Hearing her say those words, realizing what he did, all these things made him want o go back to the past and knock his past self.

"Jill, I'm sorry. I'm telling you I'm not playing with you. I didn't hate you either. In fact, I was looking forward to the weekends because I'll be able to see you. I just felt a little jealous with the time you spent with my parents. When I found out the reason why, I was so guilty about it. That's why I left. I thought you'd never want to see me again. I'm sorry. I'm really sorry." Travis kept apologizing but she didn't stop crying.

She was so hurt. The memory of him shouting at her, haunted her for years. And now she's letting the same person fool her.

"Jill, I won't ever leave you. So please don't leave me." he plead her again.

"Travis, I will take this risk. I will give us another chance. This time it's for real. However, if you will betray me again, I will kill everyone in your family until no one can bear the surname Madrigal!" she warned him.

Some people might think she's a nice young lady. Some might say she's kind. Some might say she's got good characters. Cielo might say that her sister is brave and independent.

However, she's got one little secret that only Lucian found out. He found it accidentally and she didn't explain anything. Lucian didn't ask anything either.

"Don't stain your hands with their bloods." That was a secret code that only the two of them knew.

Travis kissed her head again and again to comfort her. Jillyanna moved closer and hug his waist. She stopped talking and just closed her eyes.

She's tired. She had been having a hard time breathing since earlier and controlling her emotions was taking a toll on her.

"I'm sleepy." she murmured on his chest.

"Just sleep. I will be right here. I won't go anywhere until you're awake." Travis responded to her, caressing her face and hair.

Jillyanna felt relieved and relaxed after letting out what's in her mind. It didn't take long for her to sleep, forgetting the phones that was left on her side of the bed.

Travis picked up their phones, placed hers on the bedside drawer near him and opened his phone. There was no missed calls or messages.

"She erased them?" he murmured before opening an app that stored deleted messages and deleted calls.

Most of the calls were from Diego and Cielo. There were text messages from Wynwyn and Cheska. Some business partners sent him emails, too.

All of them were asking him to do the same thing - to check his social media account.

Travis didn't open his account since Jillyanna's acount wasn't logged out. He used it instead to check on the posts that she was mentioned hundreds of times.

After checking everything, he logged out her account and use his own. Same posts were tagged to him and many people didn't stop to fight for Jillyanna's innocence.

His account had been verified few days ago with the help of several well-known artists, so many people started following him.

I_amHerHusband (v): So these posts are the reasons why my wife is bothered today. Just pray that nothing happens to her and our baby because I will surely pay a visit if something happens.

Under his caption were screen shots of the posts that attracted many netizens online.

To those who ruined Jillyanna's name, the warning was a clear sign hanging on their neck.

To those who supported her, the surprise caption left them speechless for a while.
