Chapter 102 - J ENTERTAINMENT II

'Ding!'

The elevator door opened and what Jillyanna saw was Diego's smiling face.

"Heh! I finally found you." there was an evil glint flashing across her eyes. She still wasn't over about her plan being ruined because of him. She turned to Travis with an expectant look. "Can I punch him? I won't hate him after a single punch."

"Hn. Go ahead."

"Hey what's this all about?" Diego shifted his gaze between the two of them. 'Why am I getting a punch?' he thought to himself but didn't get any answer. There were other people who looked at them as well.

"Don't worry Mr. Sandoval, I won't exert any force because it's not good for my baby." she smiled at him but Diego felt a tingle on his scalp. He's got a bad feeling about her not exerting any force.

Before he could react and ran, a strong punch on his gut made him staggered back a few steps. He looked at Jillyanna with a shock face.

"Thanks to you my plans were all ruined." Jillyanna stated before looking back to Travis. "I just used a little force. It won't hurt his intestines."

"Good job." Travis praised her before taking her hand to see if it was bruised or anything. "Not painful?"

"Not at all. He's got no muscles." Jillyanna responded as if what she did was just a normal thing.

Diego, who was the victim, couldn't understand the two of them. "Just what the hell is going on?" he asked in frustration and surprise.

"Ask your girlfriend when you get back."

They left him after saying those words and walked towards a locked office. Travis had his thumb and index fingers scanned before the door was unlocked.

Diego was still stunned and wondering about what happened. He couldn't believe that he, the number one supporter, will get a punch from the woman herself.

"Hey Dee, what exactly did you do? She looked really angry at you." Wynwyn asked him with a judging tone that seemed it was his fault for getting punched.

"I don't know. I have to ask Cheska later." he fixed his ties and suit as if nothing happens. However when he moved, he felt a sudden pain on his side where the punch landed. Disregarding the presence of everyone, he pulled up his clothes and saw a blue-violet marks.

"Oh my! That was a really strong punch." one of the employees who saw what happened commented.

"Boss Diego looked really fine after the punch. Looks like the effect was delayed." another person stated.

"Damn it! Just what exactly did I do?" Diego cursed and walked away from them to confront the two.

'That's what we want to know.' Everybody thought the same as they watched their vice-chairman walked towards their CEO's office, holding his right side.

Travis was giving Jillyanna a tour of his office and the adjacent room where he used to sleep when working overtime.

"Our disparity is increasing everyday." she said helplessly, sitting on his bed while looking around the room.

The room was very simple. It had a black and white motif. The big bed was at the center with a bedside drawer. There was a monochrome painting hanging on the wall to the right side. On the left side of the room, there was a wardrobe where few clothings can be found and a floor to ceiling mirror.

Travis was observing her while she observed the place around her. He suddenly pulled out his wallet and took a card from it.

"Here." Jillyanna turned to face him and saw his hand holding a black card.

"What's this for? I have my own money, okay? I don't need your money." she pushed his card back but Travis took her bag instead and put the card inside.

"Your money is for our child. My money is for us. I will continue to work hard for our family." he whispered with sincerity in his eyes. When he saw Jillyanna was stunned and fear started creeping up her face, he felt a pang of pain in his chest. "Jill, let's have our own family. You and me plus our baby."

"Wait. Let me think about this." she tried pulling her hands while laughing her ass of awkwardly.

"This is not a laughing matter." Travis stated and looked at her eyes directly. Jillyanna shifted her gaze to her side so she can avoid his look.

She couldn't say anything to him. Yes she trusted him but that doesn't mean she's ready to have a family with him. How can she explain it?

"You are still planning to leave, aren't you?" This made her look at him. Pain, sadness, regret and frustration were evident in his voice. She opened her mouth but she didn't know what to say so she closed it again. "Just tell me whatever you have in mind."

Jillyanna slapped his hand away. "Why do you look so agitated? I wasn't even saying anything."

"That's because you're not saying anything which made me think I'm right. You are still planning to leave me." He sat down on his bed, rubbing his face roughly with his hands out of frustration.

Jillyanna walked in his direction and stood in front of him. For the first time, she reached out her hand and caressed his hair gently.

"I trust you. I chose to trust you. But Travis, I am not ready to form a family with you yet. Can you give me some time?" she mumbled with hesitations. 'What if you actually found someone you like after all these shits happening around me? What if you are wrong with your feelings for me? What will I do then?' she added mentally in pain.

Travis pulled her and hugged her waist, burying one side of his face on her tummy. "I will wait for you. Just don't think of leaving me."

"Okay." she responded in her soft voice. Perhaps, things have changed this time but a stone heart takes time to melt. "Don't keep any secrets with me. That's all I ask."

"Hn. I promise."
