Chapter 81 - THEY FOUND OUT

"We're leaving." Brown spoke and followed Jillyanna out of the house.

"Be extra careful." Valkyrie reminded him but Brown didn't respond or even turned back to look at him.

"Stop teasing him. You know exactly how he feels. If you can't respond to that, it's better if you tell him the honest truth." Savannah commented before leaving the house with Hawk following behind her.

"Don't turn off your device. I need to know where you are all the time." Hawk reminded her which made her smile.

"I have turned it on already. I am leaving now." Savannah waved her hand at him and ran to the car that Brown drove out.

She opened the door to the front seat and got in. Jillyanna was still sulking at the back from the call with Travis earlier.

"Where are we going?" Brown asked her when they got out of the gate.

"We're going to Hacienda de Amore." Jillyanna answered while looking at the scenery outside the car.

Savannah frowned upon hearing the place. It sounded familiar to her and she was sure she had been there.

Brown used the navigator to find the place. After half an hour, when they drove to a very familiar place, he looked towards Savannah who happened to be looking at him as well.

"You're visiting someone in this place?" Savannah asked Jillyanna when she couldn't contain her curiosity. Brown stopped the car in front of the gate. They couldn't let her know that they knew the place.

Jillyanna looked at them and nodded her head. "Someone very close to me is currently staying in this mansion. Wait here for a while." she stepped out of the car and walked to the gate.

The security guard opened the gate immediately and greeted her. "Good morning young madam."

"Good morning." she replied to him. "Can you let them in? I might take a while inside."

"Of course. Let me talk to them." The guard walked to the car and knocked on the window. Savannah put on her glasses and a deep red lipstick. She messed up her hair before opening the window, just enough for the man to see her and talk. "Young madam wants you to drive the car inside."

"We're fine here. We'll wait." she answered. Brown was looking on the opposite side so that the guard can't identify him.

Savannah closed the window again and removed her disguise while calling Hawk.

"What's the matter? Why are you at the mansion?" Hawk was confused while staring at the laptop screen in front of him.

"Investigate Jillyanna immediately. Her background and everything." Savannah responded.

"Why?"

"Just do it. Never mind. I will ask Uncle Thomas directly. Don't let Travis know of this yet." Savannah ended the call but not her locator.

"Could it be her?" Brown asked in surprise.

"We can't be sure yet." Savannah commented.

On the other hand, Jillyanna just got inside the mansion and Thomas was sitting on the couch at the living room.

"Good morning Uncle!" she greeted and hugged him.

"My dear Jillyanna. I am so glad you are here. I am so bored since everyone left."

"RV isn't here again? Why did he keep on leaving you alone?! Is it so important to earn money that he will disregard you?"

"My my. You are judging him again. He needed to earn for his family. He got someone pregnant and I felt bad for the woman so I'm letting him work."

"Ha! Your son uncle is really awesome! Getting someone pregnant without marrying her? Is he planning to abandon her in the future? Well, that's how he is, so I won't be wondering." she snickered and made a sarcastic remark.

Thomas sighed and looked at her helplessly. "Can you forgive him of what happened already? He was young back then and didn't know how stupid he was yet."

"I don't really hate him and sure, I'll forgive him. However, I really needed your help this time. I will treat this as a debt in my whole life."

"What is it?" Thomas asked. He will do anything to patch up the relationship between her and his son.

Even if he can't match make them, he wanted them to become friends at least.

Jillyanna sat closer to him and held his hand. "Uncle, I need to fly back to Europe tonight or tomorrow night but I can't use the regular planes. You have a private plane right?"

Thomas frowned and was thinking what to do but in the end, he told her he can't. "RV, flew out of the country and he used the private plane.

"That's too bad. I'll just think of another way." she responded and her mind was working with other escape routes already.

"Why are you leaving for Europe by the way? Aren't you staying here for -"

'Ring. Ring. Ring.' his phone interrupted his question and Savannah's name was reflected on the screen.

"Let me answer this first."

"Go ahead uncle."

Thomas walked to the back garden and answered the call.

"Uncle, do you know Jillyanna?" Savannah's question came right after he answered it.

Even though he was confused, he still answered her questions.

"Yes. She's Elizabeth's daughter. Don't tell me you haven't found her yet?" he laughed at their incompetency.

"We found her. She's inside the mansion right?" Savannah retorted to him, ignoring his laughters.

"Does Travis know?" he inquired.

"He doesn't. Is she asking you to help her escape?" they all knew she wanted to escape from Travis so it's not difficult to guess it. "You must not help her."

"And why not?"

"Because if you do that uncle, it will be chaotic and you won't be able to see your grandchild."

"What does my grandchild has to do with Jillyanna?" he asked in confusion. "Explain this to me Savy."

"Jillyanna is carrying your grandchild. She's the woman that Travis has been chasing and the same woman he impregnated. But she wanted to escape. She didn't want to stay with Travis. They don't know each other's identity yet."

This information was like a lightning strike, sending bolts to his nerves and like a thunder shaking his heart.

"You must be kidding me." Thomas murmured and fainted on the spot.
