Chapter 166 - No Need To Rush!

Name:Ceo Unrivaled Author:inflict
Sofia was a silent reader but when she formulated the answer to their activities there was a humming sound coming from her lips. The classroom became quiet as the students started to be serious about their tasks.

'This essay is also too easy,' Sofia thought.

Her hand's movements were fast as it pressed the pen on her paper. Not even once she had scanned back what she read on the preceding pages. She only place every answer to the question that was asked in every activity.

While the others were still reading, Sofia was almost done answering. This was the only discussion that they would do and because she had experienced soul among her classmates, she quickly finished all the assigned tasks.

However, Sofia did not submit her papers. It would be too suspicious if she could give all her papers full of answers in such a small amount of time. Instead, she secretly took her phone and browsed the social media.

As the teacher's eyes wandered, it caught the figure of Sofia using her phone.

"Excuse me? Student, give me your phone," the teacher stood and raised her palms, a gesture that was about to confiscate her phone.

Sofia looked up and left her seat. She placed took her answer sheet as well as her phone and walked to the front.

"I'm done answering the activities, ma'am!" Sofia softly muttered with a polite tone. Then, she handed her answer sheet to the teacher.

"You are done? Student, don't joke at me. It's just been less than 15 minutes passed. Did you give me mediocre answers? Please review this and expound your essay," the teacher pushed back the paper that Sofia gave her. In her mind, the young lady must have been pranking him and giving random answers. Thus, she decided to tell her to review.

"The answers that I wrote are not joke. I've really read all the details before answering them," Sofia replied. Her memory was sharp and with this school questionnaire, even if she won't read, she could already answer it.

The teacher glared and snatched the paper using a strong force. "Then, I'll check your paper first. If there are silly answers in this test, I won't give you consideration! But now, I am also confiscating your phone," the teacher insisted.

Sofia did not complain and calmly nodded her head. She then placed her phone on the teacher's desk before sitting back on her chair.

"Psh! Are you really done? How come it's too quick? Cheater!" one of the students in the front chair blurted out without looking at Sofia.

"Yes, I am finished answering all the tasks. And there is no reason for me to cheat with such an easy test," Sofia stated. She was a fast reader that all pages were managed to read in just 6 minutes.

Because her phone was confiscated, Sofia sort an entertainment into the back page of her notebook and started her sketching. While she was forming a figure in her cheap canvas, she was startled to see that after it was done, the figure was her face. The one that she had drawn was her past face.

"You are already dead," Sofia blankly said as her sharp gaze almost penetrated and sliced the paper.

Then, several more questions were submerged in her thoughts. 'Who could have killed me in my last life? Am I still in the same world as the one that I used to live in?'

Sofia sighed and whispered all her confusion, "The past is the past. I won't be able to return to that past life but I still want to know if it's the same world or not. Or could it be that I am just dreaming?"

After just a minute, her teacher stopped assessing her papers. "You've written pretty well! Do you want to join the essay writing contest at the regional meet? I am still looking for a representative of this event."

"Literary contest is nice. I can handle it as long as I am available," Sofia casually answered.

The teacher was completely taken aback by this response. Her eyes widened for a brief period of time. She then, gave Sofia a deep scowl and asked, "Available? Just what are you to be so busy? Academic activities can also help you get a good grades."

In her teaching career, she had never heard of such a blatant response from the students. In her mind, the student's response was out of place. But for Sofia, she did not think too much of it.

"That's true. I have few errands that sometimes cannot be reached. But if the schedule of the essay writing contest is the day that I am available, then I will surely compete," Sofia reasoned.

"Good! Then, I'll put you on the contest," the teacher responded.

"When is it?" Sofia asked. Somehow, she wanted to ridicule the way how she was being enlisted when she did not even know the details or existence of the essay!"

"There is no fixed date for the essay writing contest yet." the teacher responded. "I will announce the details about it."

"Okay, I will wait for the formal announcement of this contest," Sofia replied.

After the teacher record Sofia's score, she was quickly dismissed. "You can take your phone and go home."

Seeing that their classmate was already dismissed in class, her fellow students quickened their writing too.

Sofia walked alone in an empty hallway until she reached the gate of their school. A yawn escaped from her lips as soon as she stepped out of the school. Then, she could feel that her eyes were sleepy.

'Today was rather an eventful day. Even if I am used to traveling in the past, this new body that I have is actually quick to get tired,' Sofia mentally complained. She was overwhelmed with fatigue but it was only her body that was sleepy. Psychologically, she was fully excited.

Sofia easily crossed the pedestrian lane and strode towards the convenience store. She picked random foods on the stall and pad for them before she went straight to her apartment.

Out of the darkness, Stephen suddenly emerged and called her, "Sof!"

Sofia jumped in surprise. She never expected to see Stephen. But, it turns out that the man was planning to crash in her place again.

'This boy... ahh, the generation has really changed,' she could not help but make a vague comment. Then she realized the irony of her thoughts. How could the generation changed when she came from the future? She could only sigh and shook her head.

"Did I startle you? Sorry!" Stephen walked side by side to her and rubbed her back casually.

"It's fine. No worries about it. Anyway, you are really going to stay on my uncomfortable sofa again?" she questioned in disbelief. But then, they were still young, so even if they took asleep at a desk, their body would only numb for a bit.

"Hehehe, I like your place. It's quiet," Stephen reasoned.

While these two were walking silently on the side of the road, a rumor was also spreading to social media. The rumors contained a picture of Sofia and Stephen's back while they were giggling at the library earlier.

The caption of the first person to post this picture was just a heart and the hashtag #SofPhen. After the post caught the attention of the Chronos squad fans, most of them quickly shared the post.

Claire who was already in her apartment and was casually exchanging chat messages to Clark also saw the commotion on social media.

Without hesitation, she shot up from her seat and dialed Sofia's number.

In just a single rang, she quickly heard Sofia's voice.

"Claire," Sofia called.

"Are you two officially in a relationship? My gosh! You look so perfect! Wow! Wow!" Claire excitedly asked.

"What are you talking about? Who is perfect?" Sofia questioned.

"There is a picture of you and Stephen sharing the table in the library. The two of you looked so intimate! Hehehe, Spill the details and don't leave anything," Claire teased.

"There are no details to be spill other than the tasks that we will have to do. I'll send you all tasks," Sofia stated as she had quickly guessed Claire's teasing tone.

"So, the two of you are not yet official? But why is Stephen accompanying you? Is he going to sleep again in your unit?" Claire simultaneously asked. The enthusiasm in her voice was something that sounded amusing to Sofia's ear.

"Calm down, Claire. It's his neighbor who is causing noise pollution. So, he will sleep in my place again. But, it does not mean we are officially in a relationship," Sofia explained.

"Why not? Are you afraid of Stephen's line of girls? Don't worry, I will help you deal with them if they make trouble," Claire cheered firmly.

"Why are you so excited about it? Are you and Clark official now?" Sofia returned the question to Claire.

In an instant, Claire's face turned into a deep shade of pink. "It's not yet," she shyly stated. Based on Claire's tone, it sounded more like she wanted to make an official relationship with Clark too. One that is beyond friendship.

"Eh? Then, there's no rush needed when it comes to relationships. Take it easy. Hehe, if you have no school works and are still not sleepy, search from interior design on the internet," Sofia casually said.
