Chapter 74 - Twist Of Fate

"Fine! Since you are challenging me, I will definitely celebrate once your squad gets disqualified!" Drake stomped his feet and walked away. His face looked disoriented out of anger. But since the lady countered his threats with harassment, he had no choice but to leave!

"Jing Jing, you are no good! We will sue your company for this too! And you, young miss! No matter how good the skills of your group are, it is useless once you get disqualified!" the woman behind Drake spoke before she turned around and followed the man.

The team leader reluctantly departed with AN beside her.

"Wow, are we going to be disqualified because of an interview?" Claire crossed her arms on her chest while watching the figures of Drake and his companions marching in the hallway.

"We have no obligation to comply with their request," Sofia said while taking a deep breath. She combed the side of her hair and gathered them behind her ear. The redness of her skin just above her jawline was visible to see.

Sofia does not have any grievance nor animosity of the FDS Press Company. She was not even so concerned about their status. It just so happened that she met Jing Jing which gave her a preference to work with her.

However, if the FDS Press Company would create an issue and attack her, she would be willing to face the group with her head held high.

"Hello, seniors. I'm Sofia, then, my teammates, Claire, Clark, Joey, and Stephen," she replied casually but she sneaked a glance at the man sitting next to Jing Jing.

"Oh, I know you! You are from the Gu family! Your family has a partnership with my father. But you probably did not know me!" Clark chuckled while staring at Maxwell.

The two men proceed to exchange more pleasantries when Sofia stiffened just by hearing the full name of the man.

'Wow! In my previous life, my secretary's husband is named Maxwell Gu! But in this life, he is in a relationship with her friend?' Sofia bit her lips and thought deeply.
