"Sof, Y-you know my ability. I hope that later in our match, I won't drag our performance down." Clark secretly told Sofia. Clark was aware of his ability and his anxiety was growing bigger. He knew that it is only around common players' level rather than the pro players.

Heck, some players were even better than him in terms of quick reaction time in the game. Clark was self-conscious. He was slightly bothered that he may cause them to lose the game because of his average skills.

Upon hearing his worry, the lady just smiled and looked at him in the eye. The kind of look that held both promise and assurance. One glance but was enough to calm his nerves from overthinking.

"We will be fine, Clark. Just avoid going solo for this round. Since one of our opponents is your brother, he must have known your gameplay more than me. He would probably think that you would stick to your old styles of playing the game. This is why I need you to be bolder and don't afraid to take risks. This way, your brother won't be able to predict your next move."

'Be bolder and take risks!' the words directly pierced his heart. He had been playing safe. This kind of attitude did not escape from the observant eyes of the lady. Now, Sofia wanted him to spread his wings and fly high!

"You are right. I will try my best." Clark muttered as his emotion swelled by Sofia's words. He stared at his hands and looked closely at the lines on his palm.

After a minute of looking at the lines of his palm, he clenched his hand and formed a fist. "I will do my best," Clark repeated. He was determined not to try his best but act on it instead!

"Hmmn, let's do our best," Sofia mumbled and glanced at the large screen. Thie group finally shifted their attention back to the battle of the Heavenly Noob Squad Vs The Shadow Slayer squad.

This first match was almost over... or so they thought?

On the large screen, the Shadow Slayer squad was already gaining the advantage of the ongoing battle. The two sides clashed and ended with a good result for their group.

The screen showed the player's status and all the characters of the Heavenly Noob squad were still waiting to be resurrected. They were wiped out after the clash!

It had been nearly 12 minutes of the game and the revive countdown for the players to get back on the map was also extended.

The first one to die was the tank of the Heavenly Noob squad. And the minimum time of the countdown for the player to return in the match was still 30 seconds!

This half a minute would have a large impact on them!

In fact, it was probably enough for their opponent to destroy their base!

Meanwhile, on the side of the Shadow Slayer squad, the 2 players were still actively rushing to push the top lane of their enemy.

They did not even return to the base to regain their HP and MP. They just continued attacking despite the little life points of their characters!

"The Shadow Slayer squad will finish the game! Their opponents are still waiting to be resurrected. The towers and base are wide open! All the Heavenly Noob squad players can rely upon were their creeps! But is it enough to delay the two players so they could get a chance to defend their base? Can they still return or is the resurrecting countdown be the last thing that they could see before they lose?" the first commentator speculated loudly. Given the situation, he assumed that the match would be over in no time!

The perspective of the game was also switched to the two players of the Shadow Slayer squad who were taking advantage of the opponent's absence.

Everyone could relate to their action. They could feel the eagerness of the two players to get the victory.

In the center of the gymnasium, all players have different expressions on their faces. But for the two active players, the hunger to win the match was evident in how they clasped their fingers on the mobile phone. The two gripped their device firmly and their thumbs showed rapid movements of tapping on the screen. A small smile can also be seen on their lips.

"Push, push, push," their other companions chanted. Their characters were still resurrecting also but they were confident that the two teammates can carry them towards their victory.

The tank of the Heavenly Noob Squad stared blankly at the countdown of his screen.

The man glanced at the two opponents that were clearing their creeps. He muttered a silent prayer to give him a chance to defend the base. As long as the countdown of his character to resurrect would be over, he was certain that he can protect the base.

The man took a deep breath. His forehead was already drenched with sweat. It would seem like waiting for the seconds to finish the countdown was like waiting for an eternity. It was the longest wait he had ever done!

"Nice!" The man grinned and leaped forward!

Thankfully, their creeps had successfully delayed the two opponents.

Before these players could destroy the Heavenly Noob Squad base, the tank already arrived and pushed their characters away from the base.

There was just too little damage to the skills as the build of the tank was all defensive items. But such action stopped the two opponents from their pursuit of victory.

The fans watching intently on the first battle for the second elimination round were flung into a state of mixed emotion.

On the side of the Shadow Slayer squad, the supporters felt that it was a waste of opportunity. The two players were almost there! They got a chance to deal with some damage to their opponent's base. But, because of the tank's action, their attacks abruptly stopped!

Meanwhile, on the side of the Heavenly Noob squad, all fans took a breath of relief. Just like the players they had been silently praying that their favorite squad would not be eliminated!

"That was too close!" the tank user mumbled. His character was towering at their base while he was waiting for their entire member to finish the countdown of their resurrection.

The Shadow Slayer players also made a series of signals for the two members to retreat. Since all their opponents were about to revive, they must exercise an extra patient and be careful of their next attack!
