Ellie watched him get up so he could prepare a bowl for her. Like everything in the Wong household, even eating popcorn had a hidden layer. Henry came back to her with a rectangular plate where the popcorn had been placed with artistic precision amongst a pleura of elements. Henry had fet her bits from every avenue so she went on a taste journey where his eyes would constantly stare at her mouth and the noises she was making. She wished that he would just lean forwards and kiss the leftover earl grey ice cream from her mouth. She could imagine him continuing as he looked at her blankly. She would have in response delighted in messing up his hair. His quick glance at her forced her to pretend like she was looking at the flowers behind his head.  As he relaxed, Ellie felt herself catch her breath. Over the last couple days as her health had allowed her to become more active, it was harder to make it seem like she was disinterested in her legal partner.

She changer her thoughts to the good news of Dr Wu and her own brother's upcoming nuptuals.  It was insane to her that the two had gotten together. Nolan was such a pusher that she had just thought that Wu would be a phase for him.  To think that her brother was a better lover than she was, made her feel incompetant. Nolan could secure a good lover, while she couldn't even get her husband to even look at her.

Henry on the other hand had a much less shock, which surprised Ellie.  He has simply smiled over his morning coffee as he ordered Michael to send a bottle of whiskey over to the happy couple to celebrate the news.  He had toasted with Ellie as she held the glass of orange juice in her hand before running off to work. Ellie was herself still shocked with the news as Henry disappeared with his mysterious smile.  She had wanted to know why, but dropped the issue. It was more curious to her that her doctor would want to be married to the loose cannon. It was good though that at least someone was going to have a happy marriage if hers was slowly falling through.  Her feelings had been mixed as she finished the liquid in her couple. Although, at the end of the day she was very happy that her younger brother had made such a good match.

She refocused her eyes from the plants behind Henry to his curious face.  She said, "You know even though this is happening rather quickly, I think Janna and Nolan will be very complimentary to each other.  I think Janna can calm him down a lot when he gets caught up in things. It's also fantastic that we're going to have such a talented physician joining the Chen family."

Henry fed her another spoonful of ice cream.  "Since I am related to Nolan, I guess I can say that she is joining the Wong family too.  It's great news. I am inclined to ask though if she would be still willing to take house calls if needed here?"

Ellie couldn't meet his eyes as he said that.  It reminded her that Henry didn't want her to be a part of his Wong family.  It was unfortunate, but it was true, Ellie mused to herself, she looked up and saw that Michael was approaching.  She leaned away from Henry quickly as she realized that Michael looked very serious. He was leading a short stout man with a briefcase that was almost as large as his head.  The visitor reminded Ellie of the businessmen whom she was see in the streets. Michael didn't seem to happy to be disturbing his master, but this expression was not unusual from him.

As Michael stepped up to the space where the tv and daybed had been set up, he bowed deeply before with his arm explaining with irritation.  "I apologize for my intrusion, Mr. Wong. I am not usually inclined to bring visitors up here without your approval, however, I have been persuaded.  This man here is insistent that there is a grave matter which pertains to Mrs. Ellie Chen-Wong."

It bothered Ellie a bit that Michael had pretended that she had changed her last name, but he probably had done so in an attempt to make the man leave.  It was strange to think that anyone could make Michael go against his set rules. The mere fact that the stranger had accomplished this, piqued both of their interest.  Ellie looked to the stranger with interest. She didn't understand why he would want to have dealings with her because her racing career had been over for more than six months.  There was no reason for a representative to contact her.

The stout man, pushed Michael aside with some brutality as he pointed at Ellie with a strange intensity.  "You? You?" He held up his fist in a respectful gesture to Henry before bowing. "I am very sorry for being rude with the way I have barged into your lovers dance.  I have to quickly resolve the issue with Ellie Chen. I have come to see her only. If you wish to leave it would be alright."

Ellie shook her head, her eyes met Henry's hesistent look and quickly caught his hands in hers.  "I would like him to stay here. He is my husband. Anything that is important is alright."

The man's beady eyes raised as he surmissed Ellie with a curious stare.  "So be it, but first I must have a full confirmation that you are the Ellie  Chen of which I am looking to find, as I am her legal representative? According to your birth records, you were born in New York State in the city of Rochester in 1988?  Your Chinese name is Chen Chunhua, according to your birth chart. Can you provide some legal document which can prove your identity."

Michael bowed before producing a file folder which held the appropriate documents.  Ellie knew Henry had procured them while she had been living there so she nodded for Michael to give them over.  The man looked over the documents with a legal eye. He licked his finger before turning the pages of her passport and would at interval glance up at her.  After a through check, the person nodded slowly.

Ellie couldn't help feeling more and more uncomfortable with each passing moment.  "Now that you have confirmed who I am, what is the meaning of you coming here to find me?"
