Chapter 107: You Understand Now?

The next day*

Year 36: Day 215: Just Plain Random!

(Tokyo: Ukiyoe Town: Temporary Home)

"So are you not going to do anything yet?" I ask Ryun, where she currently sits next to me while typing away on her [Lighthouse]. 'Man, there's nothing good on TV.' I mentally let out a sigh, that even having access to TV wasn't much entertainment at this point, to pass the time.

"Currently, I'm just making it so, that the Yokai won't be able to run out of Town and those that are entering the Town. Will stay until we leave." Ryun replied to her god/husband's question. "Furthermore, I have discovered, that the Nura Clan has many businesses, both in the supernatural world and the mundane world, more with the former than the latter."

"Oh." I wasn't that interested in this topic nor did Ryun continue talking about it after seeing the lack of interest on my side.

"Something wrong?" Ryun pause in her typing, to look at her god/husband. "Getting bored already?" Ryun begins to feel sorry for their Daughters, because if their Father decides to end the game when the first week wasn't even over yet.

"Eh, kind of." I spoke truthfully as I continue to manipulate the rain and black wind in the entire Town, preventing all supernatural related people from going outside. If that wasn't enough, I even go far as causing the rain to become a bit more heavily as a warning, for those that still dare want to come out in the rain. "By the way, I think I might have caused a few Yokai to die from a heart attack." I notice the logs, where I have killed, even by accident, some Yokai. 'Too bad, right now I can't absorb those EXP due to hitting the limit already.' I thought to myself, where my [Profession: The Gamer] is still at [Tier 5 - Entity] and I can raise it to [Tier 6 - Entity] anytime, but stopping it for the time being. As it wasn't the right moment yet.

"You're not planning to use one of your latest new [Skills], right?" Ryun knew her god/husband has the habit of sometimes using [Skills] that are either new that bȧrėly been used after the first day of getting it and he wanted to use it again due to it being still interesting in his eyes or old ones that been forgotten for a while and planning to use it again just for the hell of it. If it's the former, then it might be better for the girls since they might know it. But, if it's the latter, then Ryun just wish the girls good luck.

"Nah." I replied to Ryun, who tried her best not to let her facial expression change. Sadly, for her, I continue to read her character sheet, and even then, I still want to do it just as she thought so. I wanted to use it for the hell of it. 'Not to mention, I still didn't break any of the handicaps placed on me.'

"Oh, dear." Ryun decided to tell this to the girls. "If you don't mind me asking, which [Skill] are you planning to use?" Ryun knew her god/husband wouldn't mind telling her and knew she would tell their Daughters about it.

"[Magic Arsenal]." I revealed what [Skill] I'm about to use. "I'll wait for 10 minutes." I said to Ryun, giving her enough time to inform our kids.

"Got it." Ryun smiled at her god/husband, then quickly made the call.

RUMBLE!*

Upon the activation of the [Magic Arsenal: Reverie Realm]. The entire Town begins to shake and above the Town, where everyone, but the mundane people, can see in the sky. Where the sky itself is gone and in its place is a mirror world of another world. In this world, there are countless beings looking back at the people staring right at them with lifeless eyes.

The [Reverie Realm] is where all souls in this realm will be in the state of being pleasantly lost in one's thoughts; a daydream. All while being converted into a new form that suits their abilities, but will never have a mind of oneself. Making the souls into a puppet at the end. In another way, I based this realm on [Infinite Tsukuyomi] from Naruto. But, better.

"By the way, the girls are panicking at the moment. Just to let you know, my god." Ryun said in a casual tone as she watches up at the sky, where countless puppets are descending down to capture the Yokai and any humans related to the supernatural world. In order to bring them back to the [Reverie Realm] to be converted into puppets just like they did. Pretty much the whole concept of "One of us!"

"I would be concerned if they weren't." I replied, as I continue to let it rain down the Town. "Got any idea what the Yokai's thoughts about this whole thing?" I ask my wife while continue watching as all the mundane people ignoring everything going around them, where there is even one human nearby was literally abducted before their eyes and into the world above. Screaming for help, but got none in return.

"They are currently trying to fight the puppets from capturing the weaker Yokai and everyone else in the supernatural world in this Town are doing their best to fight off the puppets from capturing more people." Ryun reported without blinking at the chaos in the supernatural world is happening. As if she wasn't part of it and is one of the people from the mundane world instead.

"How about the girls?" I ask about the situation for both Erza and Pyrrha.

"Both are preventing any puppets from going near the Yokai, bȧrėly though with the numbers of puppets everywhere. Luckily, our little gift has many weapons for her to wield with her [Telekinesis Magic]." Ryun said with pride in how well her first Daughter is doing. "Though, going by the frustrated look on Erza's face. I would say she is annoyed not able to destroy a single puppet and only be able to force the puppets to let go of their captive victims before being pulled into the world above."

"I'm pretty sure if I send down all the puppets, then even Erza won't be able to do anything at all. So, I'm sure she will be even more annoyed if she found out about this." I said to Ryun, where I held back a lot with the [Magic Arsenal: Reverie Realm] as there are many puppets that were formerly are gods, some are even parallel copies of each other. One god alone from the Highschool DxD is enough to wipe Erza from existence, but I kept these puppets back in the realm and only send down the grunts, that once Erza starts using her [Sword Intent], then it would destroy these puppets with ease. Though, not for long due to the massive number of puppets continue to descend down to this Town. "By the way, did you check the people outside this Town? Those from the supernatural world, I mean."

"They are aware of what's going on right now and planning how to deal with it." Ryun let out a quiet giggle as if she just told a good joke, which is technically true in Ryun's opinion. Seeing how it's laughable of the people in this world think they could ever do anything against her god/husband. The thought itself almost made Ryun want to share it with her fellow sister-in-marriage. Almost.

"Hm. Want me to stop them from entering the Town?" I ask Ryun since this entire thing is her idea; therefore, she will be mostly the deciding factor in most of my moves.

"No, it's fine. I can deal with them myself. Just make sure not to take over the entire place by today. Give the girls their chance to win this family game." Ryun replied to her god/husband's question as she calmly uses her [Lighthouse] to do many things. "After all, with your help, my god. I have the ability to see everything in this universe without any problem whatsoever other than the time for me to locate what I seek out." Ryun knew her limitations of how much she could do with a partial connection with her god/husband's control over the said universe.

"Alright, then I should stop now before everyone on the girls' side would lose all hope." I replied while deactivating the [Magic Arsenal], causing all the puppets to fade from existence like they never existed. But, I didn't deactivate both [Call the Wind] and [Summon the Rain] yet as there still daylight, even if many don't know that in this Town. "Think I should continue to use [Magic Arsenal] daily or just randomly during the three weeks?" I glance out the window, where there are multiple screams of terror. Yet, some of the people ignore this or can't even hear the scream of the supernatural people grieving at the loss of their loved ones.

"If you want." Ryun wasn't going to deny her god/husband of what he wanted to do.

"I'll do it randomly, then." I honestly felt that using it already was pushing it, causing my Daughters' chance of success in this family game to be near zero already. "Ah, the sun has set. Look like I can't move for the time being until sunrise." I said to Ryun as I dismiss both [Call the Wind] and [Summon the Rain]. Allowing Erza and Pyrrha, along with those Yokai to move freely outside now.

20 minutes later*

With the door burst open, Ryun and I didn't even look at the person who came into our home since I placed down many [Restrictions] to only allow certain people to enter this house freely.

"Welcome back, Erza. Pyrrha." I greet my Daughters without looking away from the TV as I just put on some random comedy movie. But, so far, 10 minutes into the movie, and nothing seem to be funny at all.

"Father. Mother." Erza said in a fake calm tone of voice.

"Hello, Father and Mother." Pyrrha greets politely, not showing how frustrated she is at the moment, nor show any signs of being very tired as well.

"Welcome back." Ryun greets her Daughters with a smile on her face before turning her attention back to the [Lighthouse] not bother to hide what she is doing in front of her Daughters. "It's not dinner time yet, so why come home so early?"

"Because we were wondering how come Father decided to pull an army of puppets at us like the world is ending or something, and honestly some of the Yokai even started shouting about how the world is actually ending or the heaven has decided to put the world into multiple trials to gain the right to earn their places in heaven." Erza tries her best not to scream her lungs out as she did it in the past. Worst mistake of both her lives.

"I think I saw one even went far as to rip one of their limbs and bring it up to offer to some of the leftover puppets still remain before disappearing." Pyrrha follows up with a wry smile. Looking a little pale, not that anyone could blame her for seeing such a scary looking Yokai would do such a thing.

"Huh, I expect humans to do this not Yokai." I look at the girls in surprise at this news.

"Oh, there were some humans that have done this. However, unlike the Yokai with a stronger body, depending on the Yokai, the humans end up dying from blood loss afterward." Erza said dryly, for she saw a few cases of her fellow humans doing such a thing and end up dead not a few seconds later due to the shock of losing a limb or whatever. Erza tries her best not to recall any more of this, too much of reminding of her the bad part of her first life.

"It was kinda bloody on the way back here." Pyrrha commented with her face still pale. "By the way, do we have to face that army of puppets again tomorrow, Father?" Pyrrha desperately hopes it wasn't the case and it was a one-time thing with her Father.

"I don't think so." I spoke truthfully, because I already have something else to use than using the [Magic Arsenal].

"Father, are you planning to use it again anytime during this family game?" Erza asks once she realized Pyrrha didn't ask the right way in her question.

"Hmm. I might use it at least two more times." I replied to my Daughter's question, where I glance over to see her face being pale just like Pyrrha from the side. "Though, you shouldn't really focus on the puppets." I hint that there is a much more important thing to focus on compared to these puppets I may or may not summon any time soon.

"Please tell me you're not using some kind of powerful [Magic Swords]." Erza dread of all the types of [Magic Swords] her Father would use as over the years, where Erza watch her Father make most of them, some of them are made for herself too and are much powerful compared to the ones she owned in her first life. Yet, this is also why Erza dread facing her Father whenever he uses one of the [Magic Swords] he crafted himself. Since they could be considered at the same level as her Father's weakest [Sword Intent]. That is still considered very powerful in her and her siblings' eyes.

"I'm not." I try to keep the disappointment out of my voice. 'Man, out of all the [Magic Swords] I have made. Barely any of them I could upgrade into a [Dao Weapon].' I knew how difficult it is to make [Dao Weapons], but I finally manage to due taking a page off from Bleach, but the success rate of obtaining a [Dao Weapon] is a lot harder than many would expect if they don't have the [Skill: Rejection & Bypass Restrictions].

[Magic Sword: Asauchi Version] - Rank: N/A - Durability: N/A - ATK: N/A

Description: A [Magic Sword] that was crafted based on the [Asauchi] from Bleach and is meant to be used to turn into [Dao Weapon] through the same methods as [Asauchi] by slowly imprinting a [Dao] onto this [Magic Sword]. With a chance of it becoming a [Dao Weapon] or not.

1st Effect: [Dao Imprinting] - Through a chance of becoming the weapon form of a [Dao] by imprinting a [Dao] into the [Magic Sword].

2nd Effect: [Pseudo Dao Weapon] - Upon failing from the 1st Effect, the [Magic Sword] will still have a hint of [Dao] imprinted into the [Magic Sword], but won't be the same as a true [Dao Weapon].

"Oh, thank goodness." Erza sighed in relief, that her Father won't be using any of them. Though, she does wonder what they truly are since they don't feel like actual [Magic Sword] from her home universe. Nonetheless, her Father will tell her at some point, later on, she just has to wait for that day.

"Though, that's good and all, but your Father might use something else that is still dangerous as a [Magic Sword]." Ryun said to her older Daughter. "I don't know what it is, but just be careful. Anything could happen when it's related to your Father." Ryun didn't bother to suppress the urge to smile. Something that sends down child down to both her Daughters.

"That's very true..." Erza looks at her Father with caution, even her little sister, Pyrrha, is worried about what their Father would do tomorrow. It could be raining still or it could be raining puppets. No one would know before it's too late. Unless their Mother helps them out again.

"Don't worry, I'll make sure to inform you, girls, whenever your Father decides to do something big." Ryun said to her little precious as if she could read Erza's thoughts.

"So... just to make sure, are you planning to use those puppets again during our stay here?" Pyrrha decides to risk it, after all, she is very curious about what she could get for a prize if she successfully defends the Town from being taken over by her parents.

"Yup, but randomly. I'm thinking about two more times before I stop using it." I spoke truthfully while making a hand gesture to my Daughters to sit with me on the couch with Ryun. Since there plenty of space on this couch to fit all of us without causing one to feel like they're being squashed.

Erza and Pyrrha calmly walk over to sit with their parents, but kept looking at their Father. Completely ignoring what's on the TV is showing.

"So, how things been so far, with you girls?" I ask Erza and Pyrrha while continuing to watch TV.

"Well, we kinda hoping that you won't be using those puppets again." Erza said slowly, a little afraid her Father might just send down a stronger puppet in quality or increase the number of puppets instead.

"Alright, that's fine. I won't use them anymore." I shrug my shoulder since I wasn't that eager to use the [Magic Arsenal]. 'Though, I just have to use something else to make it so Erza and Pyrrha would be on their toes. Can't have them have it easy.' I mentally chuckle to myself.

"Just like that?!" Pyrrha looks at her Father in disbelief, that he would accept this.

"Just like that." I repeated Pyrrha's words in a calm tone of voice.

"Father. You're not planning to use some kind of [Skill], that may or may not cause massive destruction to the Town, to prevent us from winning, would you?" Erza asks with a hint of hope, because if so, then Erza and her little sister got no chance at all. Neither of them has any means to prevent their Father from destroying the entire Town if he seriously plans on it. They can't even go to their Mother for help since she will gladly help their Father instead.

"Nah, that would be boring." I didn't have the slightest idea of doing such a thing. "Though, I'll make sure not to use some of my [Skills], that have the potential to destroy the Town due to a slip of my control." I try not to grin, where I can see how Erza's right eye begins to twitch at the end of my words. "By the way, I just remember I have these. Here you go." I access my [Gate of Babylon] to take out two vials and pass it over to Erza, with Erza passing one of the two vials over to Pyrrha.

[Resurrection Potion] - Rank: A+ - Durability: 10/10 - ATK: N/A

Description: A handcrafted [Potion] that can revive the dead back to full health with no side-effects in peak condition. Even missing parts of the body would be regrown back or reattach back without any problem. The mind of the body won't be affected and be normal like before dying.

1st Effect: [Resurrection The Dead] - Able to bring the dead back to life to their prime or back to their original state before they were dead.

1st Effect's Requirement: Require the target of this [Potion] to work to have the entire liquid pour onto the target or have the target consume the liquid in order to work.

"Careful with those. Since if someone finds out about those two vials. Lots of problems will happen if those two falls into the wrong hands." I said to Erza and Pyrrha, where I show them what these two vials are. While I didn't with Ryun due to knowing what they are already since she was there when I finished creating one.

"Wait, why would you give us these, Father?" Pyrrha asks in a confused voice. As she held the [Resurrection Potion], wondering what others would think if they knew such a thing is real. Then, Pyrrha thought about her home universe and can see countless deaths in order to get this [Resurrection Potion]. Yup, Pyrrha can see this is a common thing in her Father's eyes and the rest of the ȧduŀts. By handing it out like it's worth nothing.

"It to either bribe, pay, reward, etc. Choose your pick of whatever you call it. Your Father here gave you something as a way to show the world, that you're part of a family that's powerful and to show, that one could be a reward beyond their comprehension or face something that makes death as a small mercy." Ryun explained to her little gift about why her Father gave her such a thing. When clearly, he could do the same easily via the [Skill: Rejection] and don't need such a thing like the [Resurrection Potion].

"I don't know..." Pyrrha wasn't completely sure about this.

However, unlike Pyrrha, Erza knew exactly how important this is thanks to her first life and her abnormal second life. Though Erza wouldn't say it out loud, but she learns so many things that she wished she learned in her first life. So, being born into a powerful family has its peaks.

"Including what your Mother said. Remember not to let many people know about it. I know I'm repeating myself, but I want to be clear about this since I might have to take action or your Mother will if things get out of hands. So, only reveal it or mention the effects of the [Resurrection Potion], but not mention what it looks like or how to use it. For those that you deem worthy of knowing about this or have enough power to counter anyone from fȯrċɨbŀƴ taking it from you." I follow up with another warning to both Erza and Pyrrha.

"I understand, Father." Erza replied in a serious tone, for she knows how some people get when they on their last days of life and would do anything to extend their lifespan, even if it means doing forbidden methods for an extra year or so.

"Wait, won't some Yokai get the bright idea of trying to kill us for these?" Pyrrha begins to worry about holding this vial, that could threaten her life and she rather not find out she tried to befriend with would end up stabbing her in the back to get it the moment she reveals it. After all, before this second life of hers. There were many former friends of hers before coming to Beacon Academy who had betrayed her trust for small fame or just for some quick bucks. The latter broke her heart that day upon learning about this.

"Trust your Father, Pyrrha. He will always know if someone dares do something against you." Ryun said to her younger Daughter in a gentle tone. "After all, if you have forgotten, but your Father owns this universe; therefore, he has the ability to see everything and be anywhere in this universe without any problem. Plus, if that wasn't enough. He got many methods to find out if you're in danger or not." Ryun points this out too, just in case to calm down her little gift's nerves. "Now, how about we have something eats? I'm feeling like eating some roasted steak." Ryun licks her lips at the idea of eating some steak.
