Chapter 104: You Win Some, You Lose Some

Year 36: Day 205: Prison Part 2

"So, anything I should know?" I whisper to Ryun while debating on getting Hestia to come down here to speak with these Greek demigods or allow my Daughters to persuade them instead to not attack us. Because the idea alone is just bad, for them that is. "Anything I should do?" I change the question a bit once I noticed one of the Greek demigods with a bronze spear look ready to leap at Erza.

"Just leave it to our Daughters. I'm sure they could think up about something." Ryun said to her god/husband. "I did train them, with Erza having the most training due to being the heiress of the Red Witch Royal Family and older than Pyrrha by a few years."

Erza takes a few steps towards the Greek demigod bronze spear wielder, causing everyone to tense up. Until Erza standing right in front of the Greek demigod, then at the speed beyond what these Greek people could see with the nȧkėd eyes. Everyone hears a loud smack, then everyone sees the Greek demigod bronze spear wielder have a red handprint on their right cheek. The bronze spear was nowhere in sight and no one has any idea where it is nor has any idea how Erza made it disappear. Other than Erza own family.

Ryun notices the look she getting from her god/husband. "I said I trained Erza. Never said she actually fully understands my lessons." Ryun didn't care how their Daughter is acting. Better than not acting at all. "Also, are you planning to take on the mantle of this universe's Jade Emperor?" Ryun did a quick glance at her god/husband's appearance as well as the [Blade of Tathagata].

"Not really. I just took on this mode to scare the Greek gods and goddesses." I pause for a moment to think about anything else why I use the identity as a Jade Emperor. "Also, because I'm bored." I spoke truthfully. 'Honestly, I can just easily kill all the Greek gods, then use [Rejection] and other [Skills] to bring them back to life.' I begin to think if I should do so, but with the Greek demigods.

"Should we leave our Daughters here to do whatever and just go sightseeing in this universe?" Ryun knew how bored her god/husband could get and rather not let him end up causing her training session for her Daughters, especially for Erza, to become useless due to having all the candidates dead. "Erza can watch over Pyrrha's safety while Pyrrha herself will learn from Erza during her test of making a hero."

"May as well. If we stay here, then it would be pointless for both Erza and Pyrrha since they won't be respected and fear due to our presence." I said to Ryun, 'I guess Ryun rather have both Erza and Pyrrha rely on themselves to guide someone to become a hero or failing at it. Either way, I'll just wish Erza and Pyrrha good luck.'

"Alright, give me a few minutes to speak with our Daughters." Ryun agreed with her god/husband's statement.

While Ryun speaking with our Daughters, I begin to think about if I should grab a random universe to merge with the Percy Jackson universe since it's kind of boring now in a way, not to mention most of the pantheons are fading soon or just not worth noting.

'What a good universe to go with the Percy Jackson universe, without causing too much problem?' I thought carefully since I rather not make it too much of a difference, that it would lead to forcing me having to send both Erza and Pyrrha back to the [Ark] to do deal with the problem at hand.

Closing my eyes, then use [Elemental Sight] as the main core [Skill] and link with other [Detecting Skills] to seek out a decent universe to merge with this Percy Jackson universe to fȯrċɨbŀƴ transform it into a crossover universe. But, after looking through countless universes to pick to be merged with the Percy Jackson universe. I decided not to once I realized that some are good, but would just make things complicated or bad enough that the other universe would cause major chaos in the world, that would give the mythology beings the power to become even stronger than they already are.

"Okay, I'm done." Ryun spoke up, causing me to open my eyes to look at Ryun, then glance over to my Daughters, where Erza is talking with Chiron. The activities director at Camp Half-Blood and the immortal centaur, son of Kronos and the Oceanid Philyra, and a famed trainer of heroes from Greek mythology, including Jason and Achilles.

"Alright." I held Ryun's right hand with my left, then bring us back to the [Ark].

(Ark's City)

Once we appear on the [Ark]. Ryun pulls out her [Lighthouse] and uses it to bring up the world map of the planet Earth in the Percy Jackson universe.

"Let's see." Ryun mumbles to herself, as she starts checking what place for just her god/husband and herself should visit, with just themselves only without anyone else. Of course, Ryun gave her Daughters a week before reuniting with them and having a family outing. Ryun doesn't care if Erza successfully creates a hero or failing to train up one. All Ryun doing is to give Erza the experience of guiding someone that is a complete stranger to her.

"How about we take this chance to enjoy ourselves alone without anyone to troubling us." I said to Ryun, as I hug her from behind, causing Ryun to blush upon noticing my hint for us to have sėx right here and right now.

"Okay." Ryun agreed quietly, never to deny her god/husband's approach. In fact, Ryun is delighted by this, proving that her god/husband always loves her and would never abandon her.

A week later*

(Ark's City)

"Okay, it has been a week now." I said to Ryun, who is lying on top of me nȧkėd and seems to be out of focus for a brief moment before snapping out it and let out a mȯȧn, as she sat up, to stretch her back. Allowing me to see her brėȧsts jiggle at the same time. "Also, I hope you're not mad at me for using this entire week for us to just have non-stop sėx." I smile at Ryun, where I did not regret having sėx with Ryun instead of us going around the place for a tour or something. After all, having sėx can be done anytime and anywhere.

"Oh, it's fine, my god." Ryun replied, as she moves herself to the side, sliding her god/husband's dɨċk out of her vȧġɨnȧ, leading to having sėmėn leaking down her thɨġhs for a couple of seconds before it disappears thanks to her god/husband's [Rejection] to clean up the mess. "Honestly, it doesn't matter really if we go somewhere or not. Since we pretty much have been to many similar places already, with Percy Jackson universe just being in the same world setting like Highschool DxD. If it was somewhere else, I might have some bit of regret." Ryun spoke her thoughts truthfully, for she really didn't find any places on Earth to be interesting at this point.

"Well, let's go check on our Daughters. Hopefully, they weren't able to actually manage to create a hero out of those Greek demigods." I said to Ryun, who let out a sigh at my comment.

"I'm not even sure if Erza would even think about dropping the who hero complex thing any time soon. It has already been years, and yet, she still stuck on the whole hero thing." Ryun frowns a little, as she moves a bit closer into her god/husband's arms. "I feel like we shouldn't have informed the kids about the three factions at all."

"Pretty sure they will find out sooner or later, either on their own or someone from the three factions. Manipulating her and anyone else among the kids to turning against us. So, it's better we tell them ourselves really." I said to Ryun, knowing how she has been doing her best to lead Erza from moving on the path of destruction aka the [Hero Faction] that's willing to use others in the name of the greater good and most of them actually believe they're truly doing good.

"That's true." Ryun knew that was a possible route, but no longer as one. Not that there aren't any other chances of the kids trying to turn the entire family into the heroes or something. Some of the kids continue to do so, but Ryun and every other ȧduŀt just ignore their speeches most of the time or change the subject of the conversation to something else, or in Esdeath's case. She will just outright deliver punishments for those that continue to annoy her with the whole becoming a hero talk. "Well, do you want us to have one more round of sėx before picking Erza and Pyrrha up, so we can actually start the real family vacation?"

"Nah." I shook my head, "We should go get those two before they try to do something at the last second before we arrive, to make it so they successfully convince one of those Greek demigods to truly become a hero for the people." I let out a sigh, that the idea of a hero has been a foolish thing as it just the life of misery.

A few minutes later*

"Well, I can say that Erza got things done alright." I said dryly, where there are literally almost all the Greek demigods who are madly training with everything they have, with Erza on top of one of the cabins, shouting orders for them to work faster if they want to be a hero.

Pyrrha, on the other hand, is running around the place, doing her best to do first-aid due to some people had a few accidents, leading to Pyrrha rushing over to help them out before going to other injured demigods afterward.

"I'm more concerned about Pyrrha. Look at our little gift working to the bone." Ryun frown at the way Pyrrha is sweating and breathing heavily.

"You go take care of Pyrrha, then. I'll go speak with Erza." I said to Ryun, who didn't need to be told twice and quickly rush over to Pyrrha with worry and a concerned look on her face. I just use pure speed and appear behind Erza, where I grab her by her left shoulder and fȯrċɨbŀƴ drag her away and into the forest. Outside the camp.

(Near Camp Half-Blood)

"So, I see you working hard." I said to Erza, after releasing her shoulder and allowing her to almost cut my head off with the very same sword I made for her in the past. Even if it's just a regular sword. A sword made by the [Skill: Sengo Muramasa's Blacksmith] and including [Restrictions] placed on it as well. Making it very dangerous due to its sharp edge, but useless before me and my wives. By easily disarming Erza from her sword. Something I've been doing for years with Erza when I always appear unexpected notice. This includes the other kids as well, giving them similar to awareness training. 'Of course, most of them hate me for surprising them all the time.' I thought dryly.

"Father." Erza greets her Father with a wry smile. "Has it already been a week?" Erza begins to sweat a little, because so far, she hasn't managed to train a single candidate into becoming a true hero that could easily join the [Hero Faction] in the multiverse. Sure, they technically could be a hero by completing a quest, but that only applies to this universe, not the multiverse.

"Yup. Also, seeing how it has been a while now. I think it's time for us to have a little spar." I said to Erza. Throwing back her sword, where she caught it easily from the air, but I can see the sweat forming on her forehead. 'Maybe I should do the same with Pyrrha, she does need more training after all, with all the enemies aiming at this family. Also, I want to see the look on Pyrrha's friends back in her original universe I took her from, where they find a younger and much more powerful Pyrrha, defeating them even better than before. Also, by someone younger... I think I might know another place to go after this universe. Maybe.'

Erza flinches at the mention of having to spar with her Father. If that wasn't horribly enough, Erza has the feeling she will have to face her Father alone. Something she desperately rather not have at all. After experiencing fighting her Father once by herself. She would have been bed rest for an entire year if it wasn't for the broken abilities her Father possess to heal her right back up. Then, to add in a bonus. Erza was given some kind of liquid medicine before being healed, which would boost her natural fighting ability by threefold. Therefore, Erza and her siblings are very abnormally strong for their age; well, physically wise. Nonetheless, this isn't something Erza wants to go again, even with the incredible boost in power, which is at the cost of being put through extreme pain, that should drive many people insane. Again, Erza finds her Father such a broken being. Because he wouldn't even allow that to happen to her and her siblings.

So, for Erza, if she was given a chance to fight anyone at all alone. It would always be someone else other than her own Father. That's for sure. He put the fear of fear into her during childhood, making it very difficult for herself and others to go against Father 90% of the time.

"Something the matter? Do you not wish to be trained by me personally?" I ask Erza with a hint of sadness, which is kind of fake, but I am truly a little sad because Erza didn't like the way I help her and the others to become strong. 'I mean really. In most of those cultivation novels. Lots of those crazy main characters would do pretty much anything or go through something insane to gain a boost in power. But, here I am. Making it so my kids would get the same benefits, but with the cost at its lowest possible and without having any hidden side-effects.' Truly, I'm a little baffled at the way my kids would try their best to avoid being trained by me personally alone most of the time.

"Uh..." Erza couldn't really say no honestly. Or more like she wasn't allowed to unless she wants to face the wrath of her Mother. Something all her siblings shared, while those adopted ones have it worse as they have the chance of taking the brute force of all the Mothers in the family. However, for those that are born in the family would only have to deal with their birth Mother. Yet, this is still not something good for Erza and her half-siblings. For one thing, their Mothers would punish them if they ever deny their Father of what he wants. Luckily, this doesn't involve anything sėxuȧŀ. Much to Erza's relief, with the number of Mothers she has in this lifetime.

Erza almost expected when she enters her ȧduŀthood, her Father would take her right there and then, claiming her vɨrġɨnɨtƴ. But, maybe she had read too many... books in the past, that gave her the idea. Either way, Erza knew that if she says no to her Father now and later her birth Mother finds out about this. She might be treated to one of the top 3 worst punishment her birth Mother could give her and Erza would wish for the mercy of death, but would never be given it. In fact, Erza and her half-siblings had the theory that they will never be able to die from old ages at all, thanks to learning what the type of beings their family is.

"Well, I guess I can just let Ryun know, that you don't want to. I'll just train Pyrrha instead." I said in a sad tone, then begin to walk back to the camp.

Erza panic upon hearing this, "NO! I mean, no, Father. I was just thinking about what kind of things I need help with the most, that only you could help me with, Father!" Erza spoke out the first thing that pops in her mind, then paling upon realizing what she said just now.

"Really?" I give Erza a smile, ignoring what Erza truly thinking from her character sheet I am reading. 'A little manipulate on my side, but I do really want to help Erza out, fighting I mean, the whole hero business thing is out of my hand.'

"Of course, Father." Erza smile fȯrċɨbŀƴ, but years of practice gave her the ability to smile naturally without even trying. Though, always have this gut feeling that everyone in her family could easily see through her faked facial expressions.

"That's great. So, what do you need help with?" I'm eager to see what kind of things Erza could think of, that she needs help with. 'It's a good thing, that all the kids know that I can detect lies and would get punished depending on why they lie for. If it for something not worth mention, then it's okay for them to lie.'

"I want to be able to tell if someone trying to escape from me and enemies coming towards me with bad intention." Erza did a bit quick thinking about anything she could learn or improve on, then remembering about a few cases of those Greek demigods trying to escape the camp aka avoiding the hero training she making them do, to help them out. As she has years of experience of being a hero herself and among other things.

"Hmm. So pretty much, search and/or defend. Got it." I got a gist of what Erza subconsciously dėsɨrė. "So you pretty much want to learn the [Magic: Archive], then?" I made sure to point out that the [Archive] is from her origin universe; therefore, it's a [Magic] Erza should be able to use after I implant a copy of the [Skill] into her, where it should give her the ability to use it. 'No clue if she will ever reach my level, but at she got something she could work on for the time being other than developing her own [Sword Dao].'

Erza's right eye twitched a bit, "Can I get something else?" Erza knew where her talent laid and it isn't in the [Magic: Archive].

"Hmm." I glance to the sky, to help me think of any other [Skills] I have that Erza could use. A quick search through my list of numerous [Skills] and finally got something that Erza should be able to use. I bring up a holographic projection screen via [Archive] for Erza to see what I'm offering her to get.

[Mana Zone - Black Clover's Version] - Active - Lvl.100/100 - EXP: 100% - MP cost: Varies

Description: [Mana Zone] is a [Skill] that allows users to manipulate the [Mana] in an area around themselves. Thus, the users can gather together and utilize more [Magic] than they would be able to normally.

1st Effect: Gain access to [Mana Manipulation]. Control Rate: (level)%

"Offensively, this can be funneled into [Spells] to increase their, size, number, and range. It can also be used to launch attacks in any direction and from any direction within the zone. [Spells] can be created all-around a target to keep them from escaping, within an enemy's [Spell] to destroy it, or behind a target to catch them by surprise." I begin to explain to Erza about what the [Mana Zone] could do that isn't written in the [Skill]. 'Honestly, I would have not known it too if I didn't have access to the [Information Dimension] to learn more about this [Skill].' I thought dryly, then continue with my explanation. "Defensively, the [Mana Zone] can be used to sharpen [Mana-Detection] and heighten reaction time, allowing for prediction of enemies' attacks, as well as allowing the user to move and/or stand in mid-air. Overall, this should be the one you wanted; well, after you come up with your own [Detection Spells]."

"Uh..." Erza looks at the description of the [Skill: Mana Zone] and hearing what her Father said outside of what the [Skill]'s description. This is something powerful in most worlds if used right.

"I would give you other options, but most of them are too dangerous, to yourself and others." I explain to Erza about how most of my [Skills] is technically dangerous to others other than Gamers and Erza isn't a Gamer, so she might end up becoming a cripple. 'Of course, I can cheat with [Bypass Restrictions] and [Rejection] to allow Erza to use them still without any downside or any hidden side-effects. But, if Erza isn't going to point this out, then there is no point in bringing it up.'

"Alright." Erza sighs softly, knowing that it was either this or [Archive], with the latter won't be much use to her in battle and unlike the user of this [Magic] she knows in her origin universe. She won't be able to use it to the fullest potential.

"Great. Give me a second to safely transfer the knowledge of the [Skill] over to you and we will begin practicing it, to give you a start-up on training with [Mana Zone], and later you can work on it on your free time." I said to Erza, as I start transferring a copy of the knowledge and the basic experience of using the [Mana Zone] over to Erza with a single tap of my finger.

30 minutes later*

(Camp Half-Blood)

"So, you ready?" I ask Ryun while carrying the unconscious Erza on my back, where I have overwhelmed her a bit too much, causing Erza to be knocked out of feeling too much [Mana] than she ever could in her two lifetimes all of sudden.

"We are." Ryun held on Pyrrha's right hand with her left. "What about these Greek demigods and the others?" Ryun points out the group of demigods and creatures from Greek mythology. All on the ground out cold.

As to why all of them are out cold; well, from what I can tell by Ryun's character sheet and among other character sheets. Ryun just causes all of them to faint from lack of oxygen via taking it away by using it as fuel to create a fireball before dispelling it once everyone fainted and reverse the process of using the fireball as fuel to produce oxygen back into the atmosphere. Something that's easily done thanks to Ryun's [Fire Dao].

"I don't know." I shrug my shoulders, then look at Pyrrha, who seems like she about to faint any second now. So, with just a thought, I use [Rejection] on Pyrrha and she all healed instantly.

"Is it possible if we just stay here and do whatever as a family while at the same time helping these people to become heroes?" Pyrrha asks in a hopeful voice, looking at her Father and Mother with wide eyes. As she tries her best to perform puppy eyes, something that she overheard in the past, where it makes people agree with the person making the puppy eyes.
