Chapter 147 - Go To Jail

Han Qingshan's eyes turned dark as he listened to Yu Xiulan's words, a dangerous aura pressing onto her, making her tremble in fear.

She knew that Han Qingshan was dangerous, but she had never seen him like this before, and to see him so angry, she felt hesitant.

But anger was burning within her. She was not willing to stand down, and the fury had overtaken her rational thoughts.

"Fengmian was willing to be condemned by the public, he would throw his pride away for you, but you are playing around with a little girl instead?! Is this how you display your sincerity?!"

"Can you shut up?" Han Qingshan said through gritted teeth. His face was dark as a thundercloud, and he was clearly anything but pleased with what she was doing and saying.

Yu Xiulan was stunned by his words, but she quickly thought she had hit a sore spot, that he was feeling guilty, and she promptly continued.

"You should be faithful to one's lover, you should not have two at once! I understand you want to make your family reassured that you are not gay, but think about how he must be feeling right now, think about his emotions!

"He might have already hidden somewhere, trying his best to not cry his eyes out due to a broken heart! Everyone knows you are a man with a girlfriend now; it is not suitable!"

"Are you done?" The one who spoke this time was not Han Qingshan but Jiang Yingyue. She slowly placed her feet on the floor, took the book and gently laid it next to her on the sofa, and stood up.

Yu Xiulan was shocked to see how tall she was, and her appearance was simply stunning. Even calling her a stunner was not enough to fully explain just how attractive this woman was.

But there was a bit of familiarity over her appearance, and Yu Xiulan frowned. Where had she seen this woman before? She was not a celebrity, so how could they know each other?

"You are saying that Jiang Fengmian is crying in some corner and feeling sad?" she asked with a chuckle, as if she had heard the best joke around. But Yu Xiulan nodded her head thoughtfully. How could this woman be so calm when she had just heard that her lover was actually in love with someone else, and this someone was a man?

"Well, let me tell you a secret," Jiang Yingyue smiled. "Jiang Fengmian is not a man," she said as she took the wig off casually, revealing her youthful face which was instantly recognized.

Yu Xiulan stopped in her tracks as she had been walking towards the woman, her jaw dropped, and her eyes widened.

"You... You... This... No!" she exclaimed, and suddenly she lunged towards Jiang Yingyue. Her hands were arched like claws, swiping forth as if she wanted to scratch her to death.

Han Qingshan rose to his feet, but he was too late as Yu Xiulan had already reached Jiang Yingyue by the time he stood up.

However, Jiang Yingyue was not weak. She had been running and training daily. And although her nails were not overly decorated and large, and were unable to scratch, she was still capable of grasping the other's wrist and hold her hands in place.

"Behave," Jiang Yingyue said with a smile on her face. "Han Qingshan is mine, why don't we try to agree on some terms right now?"

"Terms?" Yu Xiulan was stunned and didn't know what was going on, but Jiang Yingyue continued to smile as she dragged Yu XIulan to the sofa and pushed her to sit on it.

"Right. You will never mention that I am Jiang Fengmian. You will stay in Imperial World, and you will do your work well. You will no longer dream about becoming Madam Han, you will only focus on your career, and when you meet a handsome man that you like, you will settle down."

"Why would I do that?" she snorted, clearly unsatisfied with what Jiang Yingyue had said. "I am going to expose you; I am going to make your life a living hell."

"What do you think the prison sentence for drugging someone with an aphrodisiac is?" Jiang Yingyue suddenly asked, a chilling smile was on her face as she stood with her arms crossed over her chest, looking down on Yu Xiulan.

Her words caused Yu Xiulan to be caught by surprise. She was feeling guilty and scared, but she did not know what she could say to defend herself. They already knew she had drugged him before.

"So to keep myself out of prison, I am to cooperate with you?" she asked through gritted teeth, and Jiang Yingyue beamed a smile at her. "You are not so dumb after all," she said with a praising voice as she nodded her head.

Yu Xiulan felt mortified and humiliated. She was being threatened, but she could do nothing about it. She would have to accept it.

However, her thoughts kept revolving inside her mind. She was thinking of ways to get even with Jiang Yingyue, of ways to make her suffer.

As long as she did not go to prison, she would still have a chance. However, if she ended up in jail, then she would have lost all the opportunities she had, and thus she decided to accept the bargaining chip that Jiang Yingyue had brought up.

Although she claimed she would give up all her thoughts on Han Qingshan, she only said so to placate Jiang Yingyue.. She knew very well that she would never give up on being 'Madam Han.'
