Jiang Yingyue sighed. She knew she could not escape this time, and she looked at Zhou Yan and Lin Qiang who sat down next to her.

No one said anything, they just looked at one another, and she could sense some indignation in Zhou Yan's eyes.

Finally, after a few minutes of awkward silence, she sighed, "Long time no see."

"That's all you have to say? After all these years and you think that's enough?" Zhou Yan asked, his voice trembling with anger.

"What do you want me to say?" Jiang Yingyue asked, perplexed. This boy was clearly still as hot-tempered as before; she could not help but think to herself.

"You should explain why you left like that," Lin Qiang said seriously as he looked at her. It was rare for his master to show emotions, but as soon as it was something that had to do with Jiang Yingyue, he would become extremely emotional.

"Looking at me now, is it not easy to guess why I left?" Jiang Yingyue asked, raising her eyebrows in surprise.

Lin Qiang could not help but curse. Jiang Yingyue might have taken over her brother's life, but she was simply the same as before. Arrogant and domineering, carefree and casual.

"Jiang Yingyue!" Zhou Yan spat her name out through gritted teeth, and Jiang Yingyue finally tensed. She had not heard that name being said like this in nine years, and she could not help but have tears well up in her eyes as she was reminded of everything she had given up, and what she had left behind.

"Don't cry!" Zhou Yan had been looking at her all the time, and his eyes widened in horror when he saw how her eyes started to turn red at the rim, and tears welled up within them. He was panicked. Although he was angry with her, he was not willing to see her cry.

"I am not that weak!" Jiang Yingyue said with a low and trembling voice, clearly struggling to keep her tears in check.

"Okay, okay, I will not yell at you, just tell me what exactly is going on." Zhou Yan had no other option than to compromise. He was angry, but his heart ached with pain whenever he saw her eyes, which were looking like she would cry at any moment.

"You know I could not get over Fengmian's death," Jiang Yingyue sighed and calmed down, "I decided to live his life for him. I decided that it was time for me to let him experience life outside the house. His memory was not to be forgotten.

"I couldn't very well take over his life back in our old village, so we moved to the capital, cutting all ties to the lives we had before."

Jiang Yingyue explained it all in detail, and both Zhou Yan and Lin Qiang listened intently.

"What is your relationship with Han Qingshan?" Zhou Yan finally asked the question he wanted to ask the most. But when he asked, he saw that her face turned crimson, a delicate blush flushed on her face, and she lowered her eyes.

The bashful expression made his jealousy rise to uncontrollable levels, but he knew that he could never let her know about his emotions; he knew that he had to keep it hidden if he wanted to stay by her side.

"So the two of you are a couple?" He asked, but Jiang Yingyue shook her head. "He does not know I am a woman," she said with a low voice. "He is treating me very well because we are friends, but he does not know that I am a woman, so it can't be more than that."

Zhou Yan suddenly felt as if spring had arrived. So Han Qingshan did not know of her real gender. Then he still had a good chance to win the battle.

"Well, it has been a long time," Zhou Yan said, but before he could continue, he quieted down as he saw that Han Qingshan had returned to the room.

Han Qingshan's eyes went straight for Jiang Yingyue, and what he saw made his expression turn ugly. What was Zhou Yan doing next to his Jiang Yingyue?

He had taken a short break outside to deal with a few things, but now, when he returned Jiang Yingyue was already crowded by some other men.

He felt indignant and unhappy. Even more so when he saw that her eyes looked as if she had cried. He was not dumb, he could guess it was because of Zhou Yan that she had cried, and he quickly walked towards the table.

"Young Master Yan," Han Qingshan smiled as he greeted him, but there was something cold about his atmosphere, which made even Jiang Yingyue tremble slightly.

"Young Master Shan," Zhou Yan nodded his head in greeting but still stayed next to Jiang Yingyue.

Lin Qiang was seated opposite from Jiang Yingyue, and Zhou Yan was sitting next to her. Seeing this, Han Qingshan sat on the other side of her.

The rest of the people within the room were all discussing one thing: Jiang Yingyue.

She was sitting between Han Qingshan and Zhou Yan, and most people were feeling slightly curious as to how she could sit in the same booth as the both of them.

Others were also very eager to step forward to talk with Han Qingshan and Zhou Yan. This was the best chance to discuss business with both of them, and they were quite eager, but no one dared to be the first.

An awkward silence enveloped the booth, when Zhou Yan looked at Han Qingshan and finally opened his mouth, "I was shocked to know that my good old friend Jiang Fengmian has become acquainted with such a big shot as yourself, Young Master Shan."
