As the blood on the entire plaza drained Mike gradually felt more clear headed and gave a nod

"Seems like a demon took over my body when I leveled up to level 3… Best get out of here soon… Nah"

Mike shook his head and walked back into the temple, ignoring the mangled bodies on the way he walked directly back into the prayer room he came from and touched the crystal ball that once again lit up with a vermilion light for a few seconds before it displayed his status

Mike touched the new skill [Blood control] with his finger and soon the information about the skill showed up

Description: All blood that has been in contact with the [Knife] is able to be controlled and evolved, use the skill for more information

"Well… Sure, [Blood control]"

As Mike finished chanting he felt a vague connection to two targets, then he picked one at random and felt his consciousness observe Jasmine and three options popped up [Control], [Evolve] and [Decimate]

"Wait, when did Jasmine touch the knife..? Unless she tried to steal it that one time"

A cold glint flashed through Mike's eyes and he then chose the [Decimate] option

Jasmine walked along with the rest of her party, they were currently doing another escort mission, she suddenly felt an otherworldly presence as her eyes suddenly are covered by a blood red light she suddenly falls to her knees and begins begging out loud

"No I am sorry lord, please give me another change!"

This of course alerted the other escorts and Ole quickly ran over and shock her as he also yelled

"Jasmine! What's wrong!? Jasmine!"

Jasmine however just kept loudly begging more and more desperately while the red light covered her eyes and showed her that 'it' was unhappy with her and that 'it' would now administer punishment, suddenly Jasmine began screaming as blood began streaming out of her eyes, ears and nose much to the horror of the people watching, the blood floated upwards and formed into a ball of blood while she continued screaming

"PLEASE FORGIVE ME!"

'It' didn't listen, or perhaps 'it' did but it didn't want to help and enjoyed her begging as the floating ball of blood suddenly began changing and crystallizing into a ruby like gem that shone with a sinister light, by now her voice was sore at this point and sounded even more horrifying, then it happened.

In an instant the ruby like gem that had formed from her own blood morphed once more into a vermilion sword that glistened in the sunlight for a moment before it suddenly seemed to remember that gravity was a thing and fell down and penetrated Jasmine's head with a sound the people watching would never unhear before it was buried to the hilt and Jasmine's screaming suddenly stopped.

The people were silent, then the sound of someone puking was heard and then someone mumbled in horror

"...What the fuck was that was that?

Mike gave a cold smile as he felt Jasmine's connection grow weaker until it disappeared completely

"And that's that… humph, people who try to steal from me will all have a bad endings"

Then he selected the next target and felt a connection with Julie that was praying in front of an altar

"Julie…"

Mike hesitated for a bit before he eventually gave a sigh and shock his head

"I don't want to control her and I should talk with her before I evolve her… No I should do a test before I evolve anything… yeah let's do that"

Mike gave a nod and walked back out of the temple where he found a young man with silver hair standing next to one of the now dried up mangled corpses clearly this was a [Paladin]. Besides him there was also an old woman that wore a triangle hat and carried a staff and a middle aged man with a broadsword on his back that wore leather armor, there was also a crowd gathered a little ways away, all of them had one thing in common, they all looked at Mike when he stepped out of the temple, Mike however just gave a thin smile then the [Paladin] spoke out

"Who are you!? And how dare you mess up my temple! I'll fucking kill you!!!"

Mike looked at the [Paladin] for a moment before he look at the middle aged man and old woman and asked

"Does this clown speak for you?"

The old woman took a steep back indicating her stance while he middle aged man spoke

"I want to know why you killed these people"

Mike thought for a moment before he spoke

"Because they wanted to kill me… Well I admit that there were a few… Well, collateral casualties"

The middle aged man gave a nod and looked over at the old woman

"[Mage] Are you just here to watch the show or will you help out?"

The old woman shook her head before she spoke

"My duty is to protect the city from foreign threats… I won't join in the fun"

The middle aged man gave a sigh and spoke

"In that case I won't join either, Alex he's all yours"

The [Paladin] gave a nod and drew out his sword as he spoke

"You dare to mess up the temple under my protection! I'll Torture you for seven days and nights before I kill you!"

Mike gave a sigh, these people didn't treat him as a level 3 at all, in that case he needed to make an example, thus he drew the knife and kicked off the ground instantly appearing in front of the [Paladin] that widened his eyes before he hurriedly blocked the knife, or at least that was his plan as the knife passed stight though the sword and slashed his handsome face in the middle leaving a long deep cut across his nose and cheeks, Mike took some distance as the [Paladin] screamed in pain then he muttered

"[Drink]"

The [Paladin]'s scram turned hoarse as he quickly turned into a dried corpse, then Mike turned to the [Mage] and spoke

"I like you old cone, you're smart… My guess is that you had some beef with the young [Paladin] , right?"

The [Mage] gave a smile and spoke

"I did have some so-called 'beef' with him that's right… The young are way too eager to run to their death"

The [Mage] gave a sigh before he eyes sharpened as she looked at the knife in Mike's hand

"That must be a magic weapon, I'll trade you something from my personal collection, what do you say?"

Mike gave a slight smile before he spoke

"Not for sale, this is mine and mine alone"

The [Mage] gave a sigh before she asked

"What's your name, youngster?"

"Mike"

"I see… Well Mike I am Lana the local lady of this city and this youngster is Hans the local guild leader"

Hans gave a nod towards Mike and turned to Lana before he spoke

"Well if there's nothing else I'll take my leave"

Then he passed through the crowds and left, Mike followed him with his eyes before he gave a sigh and looked at Lana who's eyes sparkled when she looked at him

"...What?"

"Oh I was just wondering about your class, would you mind telling me what it is?"

Mike glanced at the crowds before he spoke

"Not here"

"My oh my… Where are my manners, please come with me to my manor, since you have slayed that annoying prick of [Paladin] I'll let you stay there whenever you are in Gvenor"

Mike gave a nod

'Oh right, the name of this city is Gvenor…'

"Well sure since you have invited me I'll gladly come"

Mike followed after Lana past the crowds and up to a carriage that was pulled by two giant wolves, as Mike sat himself into the carriage he once again felt Lana's sparkling eyes on him and gave a sigh

"So you want to know my class right?"

"Yes I would very much like to know it"

Mike gave a sigh and spoke

"My class is [Blood demon]"

"[Blood demon]... I see… I see"

Lana looked like she fell into deep thought, this lasted until the carriage arrived at the manor where she suddenly snapped out of her daze and spoke

"Don't worry Mike, I am not like those from the temple, I won't try to kill you just because of the name of you class"

"...Thanks Lana, I am starting to feel like we could be the best of friends"

Lana gave a wide smile as she gave a nod

"I had that feeling too, now I'll host a grand banquet for you Mike, you better not have anything planned for the next few days!"
