9 The Heir

However, Aryen did not answer, she just smiled bitterly while there's a warm flow spreading on her heart that Lin Rehan was true to her and treated her like her own daughter. 

Taking a deep breath, Aryen speaks before Lin Rehan can ask again. "I want to find who did this to me, but I don't have many resources. I heard that it wasn't only me who went missing." 

Lin Rehan was surprised, but sorrow surfaces on her eyes while she speaks. "It's true, there were twenty employees that went missing after we celebrated our victory for the new product." 

"We've been investigating about this matter for four years, and I'm guessing it must be because we've won the highest rank that year." She continued while thinking. 

"I have an idea which might have done this, I'm not certain since we have a lot of competitors." Lin Rehan claimed with suspicion on her voice. 

Knowing that Regen is silently listening, Lin Rehan continued to speak. "My company might be part of the Lee Corporation, but I don't have many resources as they do." 

"But.. Isn't Rheyan your son? Is he not helping you about this matter?" Aryen finally speaks, but she felt curious why would Lin Rehan seems trying to solve it alone. 

Moreover, Aryen is aware that Lin Rehan's ex-husband was the owner of the Lee Corporation. Although they were divorced, the heir of the Lee family is no other than her first son. 

Lin Rehan shook her head. "I can't put all this troubles to my children." There was a sweet smile that appears on her lips when she looked at Aryen. 

"But Rheyan doesn't believe that you're dead and keeps on searching for you since you went missing until now." She said with a flash on her eyes that Aryen did not noticed. 

Aryen: "..." 

Aryen was speechless. Although she has no idea why would Lee Rheyan look for her, she felt warm that there's someone still believes that she is alive. 

She smiled sweetly, while she holds Lin Rehan's hand and gripped it while she speaks. "I promise I will find the right person who's responsible for all of this." 

Lin Rehan smiled, but before she speaks the door was suddenly opened without knocking that made her face turned dark, yet they both turned their head to look who it was. 

A tall gorgeous man wearing a black suit that made looks more stunning came into their sight. He has dark-brown hair, red thin lips, high nose and an expressionless face. 

He is wearing a pair of glasses that suits his handsome face, but it doesn't hide his has clear black eyes like a deep black hole that can suck someone's soul, but it looks inexpressive. 

Seeing a stunning face, Aryen didn't notice that she was staring straight with his eyes. She can't be mistaken, he is Lee Shira, Lin Rehan's first son, the Heir of Lee Corporation. 

"Leave" Lee Shira suddenly said with a deep cold voice while staring at Aryen who seems to be in daze while looking at him straight in his eyes. 

With his cold voice, Aryen came back to her senses, but her cheeks began blushing in embarrassment and turned her attention back to Lin Rehan who has teasing smile while looking at her. 

Aryen: "..." What's with that smile? You look like Rheyan! 

"I'll get some tea CEO Lin." Aryen said while she lowered down her head and her cheeks continuously blushing after seeing Lin Rehan's mischievous smile. 

She immediately stood up and bowed down to give respect to Lee Shira, but she keeps on looking down at the floor to prevent looking at his fierce eyes. 

Aryen immediately walked with a fast footstep, her heart keeps beating fast in fear after she saw Lee Shira's fierce eyes like a beast who will swallow her alive. 

When Aryen left, Lee Shira walk towards the sofa and sits down across his mother, but his face remained expressionless while he looks at Lin Rehan who still has a meaningful smile. 

Ignoring his mother's meaningful glare, Lee Shira remained silent while he sits on the couch like there's something he wanted to say. 

"What brought you here?" Lin Rehan asked after she felt his son is hesitating to speak, but she already has a guess. "Let me guess, did your grandfather asked you again to get married?"
