Chapter 1029 Someone Has To Pay

"Nathan, what's this?" Mandy asked, trying to rub the sleep out of her eyes.

"Everything's fine, Mandy. If you're tired, you can get some more sleep." Nathan walked over to the bed and gently patted her on the back.

Mandy immediately shook her head and mumbled, "I had a nightmare." Her eyebrows furrowed deeply, as if she was remembering a bad memory. In a trance, she slowly raised her head to look at Nathan.

Even though it was winter, she was sweating out of horror.

Nathan was overcome with worry as soon as he saw the empty look in her eyes. "What nightm

punishing him."

"But why do I have the feeling that money isn't the reason Ouyang worked for Eve?" Mandy tilted her head thoughtfully. For some reason, she couldn't shake off the feeling that Ouyang had a trump card in his hand that he hadn't shown yet.

"Are you talking about Miss Li?"

Mandy nodded. "Yes. Ouyang is a person with a deep obsession; otherwise, he wouldn't have done something like this without a conscience. The most basic requirement to become a doctor is to have the heart to save people. Without that, one can't become a qualified doctor."
